A half elven woman, wearing a set of comfortable clothes and a red feathered is sitting in a booth in Beregost, Near the Temple of the Morningload. On the table in fron of her, various items are displayed. Those include the following:

A priestess in red-and-black plate eyes the ring and raises the bid to 25 bags.

Thevor Stanov passes by Laya's booth in Beregost on his way south. He carefully inspects the wares, and his expression becomes more approving as he does.

"An impressive collection, my lady. How came you by all of this great equipment?" He asks, as he continues to browse. On the last item, he pauses. "This scimitar, how much are you asking for it? I'm not a very wealthy man, but I may have some items to offer in trade, should what little gold I have not be enough. It looks to be extremely well made!"

"I did collect them on my travels over the years. What is it that you can offer in trade?"

[Deathgrowl]

"You must be a seasoned warrior, I expect, to have managed such a collection. The name is Thevor Stanov, by the way." Thevor presents himself, offering a smile. "I tend to put my wares on display at the Friendly Arm Inn when I'm not out doing other business. How about you come there at some point and have a look? Maybe we can come to some agreement? Perhaps share a drink or two while we're at it?" He continues, his smile turning to a cheerful grin.

"I can't turn down such an invitation." She offers him a friendly smile. "I visit the Friendly Arm Inn frequently. I will leave a message when I am there the next time."

The priestess again passes through Beregost, trailing long red cloak, black-crested helm cradled in the crook of an arm. She pauses before the half-elven maiden’s table. Her lips attempt a smile, but it appears awkward as though an expression not often performed. The strained smile fades when she notes her bid has been outdone.

“The color suits you, miss,” she offers, gesturing to the woman’s red feather. “I favor crimson myself, especially when paired with a contrasting hue.” The priestess nods to helm in hand; raven feathers fan backward in a radial array, each one black as night and with oily sheen. “Such a color palette might well enhance your auburn locks, though perhaps a bit overbearing for those delicate features.”

She turns her attention to the half elf’s wares. “I see my competitor continues to show interest in your priestly ring. How fortunate for you, for I imagine you shall fetch a most favorable price before we complete this transaction.” She holds up five fingers, long scarlet glove inset with jet and onyx. “Please consider my offer raised to fifty bags.”

The priestess bows her head respectfully. “May Fate grant you mercy this day, maiden.” She turns north, red cloak flowing in her wake.

The priestess returns south the next day. Learning of her competitor's increased bid, she elects to withdraw from negotiations for the ring.

The half elven woman smiles back. "Thank you miss. I also got this hat recommended from the merchant I bought it from. I really like it."

She closes her stall over the night and at the next day, the scimitar is not presented anymore.

After some time, she would turn to the orange man. "I think noone else is anymore competing with your offer. So the ring will be yours."
