The bones of Syllith are finally back were they belong. Alyndra takes them with great care out of a spare cloak.
She dared venture down below into the netherese ruins. Where her plight with the spiderkissers began. Where Syllith had her last stand. And died.
But now Alyndra gives her beloved friend a last good bye. She puts the clean bones in a shallow grave near a big oak. The same tree where Alyndra and Syllith sat down for a while, catching their breath from running through the woods. And where they enjoyed each others company.
It is not the first companion the wild elf druidess has to bury but by far one of the most painful. Syllith gave her life defending Alyndra. And in the end she still endured torture at the hands of the drow.
Rossarynia, the bronze dragon companion waits a bit to the side, giving her friend time and space to mourn Syllith, the brave grey dire wolf.

Re: Memories of Alyndra Morningdew
The young copper dragon watched her elven friend with a bit of concern. Rossarinya had been with Alyndra for almost 2 years now. And still there were things she felt excluded from.
This time she wasn't allowed to join her in Doron Amar, too. She was dismissed to fly away. And if she found time and muse she would scout the environment for the druidess. But no more.
The last months had been very interesting. They had travelled without using tree striding far to the south and east. Almost reaching the ancestral home of the wild elf: Shilmista.
Most of the time they had been in the Snakewood and the Troll mountains. After crossing the plane of the Greenfields. The old elven woman seemed to be interested in signs of the Battle of the Gods and Shantel Othreier realm ruins. Though she quickly gave up looking for hidden lore, as the third crown wars were ages gone now.
When they reached the Snakewood forest they quickly made way to the center of it, where Alyndra supposed a small settlement of Eldath priests existed: Duskwood Dell.
She had heard from them at the Friendly Arm Inn and back then she wanted to know more about the Goddess of Singing Waters. She was with Oak Father and the Forest Queen the third member of the Green Triad. And the most mysterious.
Rossarinya wasn't allowed inside, but she didn't mind. There were signs of other dragons in those woods. Especially a young adult one. And she enjoyed flying between the tall oak, ash and elm trees (among others).

Re: Memories of Alyndra Morningdew
It was in the Snakewoods that Alyndra found a bough which seemed to harbour the lightning of a storm.
The Eldath community accepted the druidess but they watched her more than once use violence if needed. Thus after a while they suggested to her to journey forth.
They thought it best to keep their peaceful community as it was, and only accept her fully when she could commit to use violence only as a last resort. Which Alyndra wasn't ready to do.
She thought it hazardous to take that risk.
Over the next 2 years her affinity to the air and the lightning grew. So much so that she finally gave in to study this, even finding a book about the air plane.
In the meanwhile her bough which she now named "The Gathering Storm" helped her to diffuse the electric charges which orginated in her fingertips, raced down the bough and ended in the ground.
After asking Elyssa the councillor of Doron Amar about the air plane she would visit the library of the Wizard Tower there and look for books on the lore. She was pondering as well going to Candlekeep. After all she knew their guide personally.
She is eager to visit the air plane in the shape of the corresponding elemental.
