Flyers are posted and distributed through the streets of Baldur's Gate inviting to a freshly set up stall in the Wake district, where sundry magical wares are displayed to the delight of the adventurous sort. It is said that behind the enterprise is a silver-tongued mage by the name Illyrius.

Two male clerks handle the clients, while two more armed men are present nearby to keep a watchful eye on the shop's operation. As of this time, the presented goods are available only for barter of other highly magical crafts equipment, any offer of mere coin is swiftly rejected.

After the dealers heard the proposal, one of them excused himself and moved to the back of the stall, while the other one informed Maelir that the offer had to be discussed with the boss. Shortly after, the merchant returned and relayed to Maelir a refusal. The reason for it was that the mage did not believe the halberd would be met with similar demand to the scabbard, despite the obvious quality of the weapon.
