Re: Rumors of Beregost
A raiding orc band of 5 or 6 was vanquished by a host of adventurers, led by Candlekeep north off Beregost. After they got wind that others had been attacked, one elven mage even chewed upon.
A drow was seen fighting on the side against the orcs, which led to a dispute before and after the skirmish.
Only one orc got away, a druid in dragonform.
/// pls correct me on the number of the orcs, might have been 4 or 5

Re: Rumors of Beregost
For some days the small adventuring company, calling themselves the Windspells, have taken room and board at the Rising Phoenix.
Their stay at the Inn, and as well their actions within the town during that stay, might cause rumor and some speculation over the company's purpose, because this group does seem very engaged with a purpose, perhaps more than one, even.
The fist action that may cause a bit of a stir is the audible arguing the Windspells made in front of the Rising Phoenix—at least one individual's sharp words—related to the Temple of Lathander, which according to what was overheard, could not or would not help the Windspells in some quest for knowledge related to a Paladin of the Order, from some three hundred years ago. The Windspells may or may not have been using the name PIetr the White, when speaking about this individual.
But one of the Windspells did speak loudly of his disappointment of the Church, in numerous ways. His compatriots did work to calm his voice, at times. But it would seem some urgency did dictate their ending of this public argumentation.
In the most recent days, the Windspells took a tactic to ask around the town if there are any wise and old people, who have for generations, shared stories of Pietr the White, the Seven Sons, stories of beings called The Twins, and only in hushed questioning, a Cult of Palemasters that once terrorized the region. Specifically, the Windspells seek greater insight to who or what Pietr the White is, and to what legacy he may have left, so that others may continue to discover the truth in the past, in order to unlock the many divine mysteries laid on the Sword Coast.
The second action was, and continues to be during their stay, the groups interaction with now 2 Coins, with at least one coin often causing the group to stumble, or seek, or fuss, or question its being...and for sure, many times, one of the group can or would have been seen adamantly chasing a coin down the street, as the object rolled on and away, in the direction north, on its own accord.
Rumor related to the coins is that these Windspells have acquired two, but there exists more, and the Windspells are actively seeking the rest of them. A recent commotion at the Rising Phoenix involving the Windspells and the Coins, seems to have given the company purpose to pack bags and start on a new travel.
In the last day, members of the Windspell Adventurers' Company can be seen acquiring foodstuffs for road travel, and once more, give small attempt to seek out information from the people of Beregost, over the various mysteries they seek to unravel.

Re: Rumors of Beregost
Two posters are tacked up all over town side by side by two women. One of them with medium brown hair and the other a redhead. They would both greet everyone in passing with a cheerful smile, though the brown haired woman was unusually giggly and nearly bounced her way through town.
If you choose to pick a map up:The note on the bottom would in stead say this on the posters that are tacked up:
Anyone attending who would like a map can pick one up at the Blade and Stars Inn.

Re: Rumors of Beregost
A very tall woman dressing white clothes and a bright staff has been seen frequenting the surroundings of Gullykin in company of a man from Calimsham. Every time, the woman previously booked a room at Beregorst the day before; traveling to the Halfling settlement next morning, to have a breackfast there; and leaving the town heading east for the meeting.

Re: Rumors of Beregost
The merchant from DreamTrades named Nixidea can be seen in Beregost, telling everyone willing to listen that there will be a "very very very special auction at the Costume Ball in Baldur's Gate.
No starting bid higher than two thousand - and items you may have heard of but most probably not have seen yet."
Rumour soon has it that at least one piece of mithral armour and two blades of the highest tier will be auctioned.

Re: Rumors of Beregost
The next day, the same two ladies that were handing out flyers in Baldurs Gate the day before, stroll through Beregost with an identical stack of fliers. The peach-haired and redhead cheerfully tell of the upcoming bakesale and handout flyers to those they meet. They tack some of the remaining flyers up around the city smiling and overall enjoying the trip south.

Re: Rumors of Beregost
Two ladies saunters through Beregost small talking. The one with ruffled up red hair, and the other with beautifully blonde flowing locks, silver-white highlights showing. They carry a stack of flyers in their hands. On their way through the city they tack posters up and greets passing strangers with a smile, also offering them one of their flyers, which ends in the occasional small talk.

Re: Rumors of Beregost
With the recent rumblings of the Drow attack near the FAI a lone perhaps familiar Bardess can be seeing appearing in various Taverns or upon the sides of the roads finding the most popular spots along the Coast. Regaling those that pass with a Song to bring them to the Fear they should have, instead of the complacency that she has heard rumor of.
