How to make potions/Poisons?
So I'm having issues trying to find any guides on making potions and poisons. I thought I had a guide from a outside site bookmarked, but can't seem to find it now. If I remember correctly I needed to buy a mortar and pestle? I can not seem to find this anywhere though. Anyone able to give me some advice?

Re: How to make potions/Poisons?
BG has no active crafting system. Poisons cannot be crafted, but they can be bought from certain merchants or found in loot.
Potion crafting requires the feat Brew Potion, then it is as simple as casting a spell of level 0-3 upon an empty potion bottle. The master Alchemist class lets you brew potions at reduced cost of level 0-3, in addition to making elixirs of spells level 4-7.

Re: How to make potions/Poisons?
I have a level 7 Cleric with 4 levels in Master Alchemist just to craft potions of Remove Curse and Restoration. Restoration potions are handy against level drain, although some prefer use potions of Death Ward.

Odd question. What happens if you make a potion of a harmful spell?

Most 'harmful' spells simply cannot be put on potions I the first place.
