*he brushes some of the dirt on his shoe, slowly scratching his moustache in in a downward position and frowns.* "400 bags then"

Re: A selection of wares from the Golden Wheel - Baldurs Gat
The merchant would come back to consider all the current open offers:
"The boots are sold for Four hundred and fifty bags, unless there is a bidder in the next couple of Candlemarks."
"I am willing to sell the hammer, for a smaller amount of course, however the Viper i should stress is worth more and I am hoping to find a item of equal value to trade for it, for my client."
"The ring you could start a bid at whichever price you prefer, my client will deem it a worthy offer or not, though I presume a minimum of a hundred and twenty bags is expected"
"To the dwarf who bid privately, your shield is still waiting for you, unless you have changed your mind?"

The merchant would respond to the man offering coins for the ring with a chuckle.
"I think yer had one too many my friend, the item will not go for such a small amount I fear"

An easterling in extravagant orange robes emblazoned with the symbol of the Firelord offers to purchase the Epic Viper scimitar and Ring of Strength for three quarters of a million each. (1.5m total bid)

Hrmmm, I'll have to think about an offer fer the blade then. I suppose I'll move my coin into biddin' fer the ring there. Same eleven hunnerd bags sound like a fair bid?

A young man steps up "Excuse me Sire, I heard you are interested in a trade for the scimitar? What kinds of things are you seeking? I have a bit of stuff collected."

The trader would cry out there was more items for sale and that some had already been sold, and for folk to check the latest updates.

A fire genasi greets the merchant and, searching through the items, nods and makes two offers.

/// 400 bags for the amulet +4 AC, CON+2

A freckle-faced woman approaches the table with a bright, welcoming smile. As she spies an item, her eyes widen. She waits patiently until she has the proprietor's attention. She points to an object on the table.

The vendor seems to consider the offer for a moment before he simply nods, accepting the coin and parting with the crossbow.

Belt - Saves: Mind +1, Uni Saves +3
A stranger dressed in brown robe, with a hint of mahogany would inquire upon one of the belts.
- How much for this one? Hm...the other similar belt to is interesting. If you give me a good price for both in one set... I might inclined to take them off your hands...

Re: A selection of wares from the Golden Wheel - Baldurs Gate
An elven male would make his way up to the stall, elbowing his way past a few other customers as he does. A single ebony eye would fall upon the myriad of items set on display, the other concealed behind a darkened eyepatch in leather. He would stand there for a few moments before letting his eye rise to meet the shopkeeper's, perhaps a slight grin set on his fair lips
"Fine cycle" He would offer a slight nod in greetings before continuing "You do have a most generous selection of fine items, good sire. And for that sole reason I do feel inclined to lessen the weigt on your table, if I may" His right hand would rise, to let a slim finger point at a pair of boots "Would an offer of 400 bags of gold suffice to let them leave here with me I wonder?" He would let an eyebrow arch as he asks the question
//Boots - Dodge +4, Cleric spell slot 5, Disable Device +1
