A Flaming Fist courier is seen rushing into the Minstrel's Muse in the Harbor.

Not long after that, noises and commotion begin in the Warehouse, as a number of workers from the docks rush inside the building, which closes for business for a few hours.

A blond man in elaborate red and gold armor escorts a large number of workers and wagons out of the House Darius warehouse in the Harbor, amidst the movement of numerous siege weapons under the direction of Fingal Darius and members of the Flaming Fist.

The Flaming Fist courier departs with the caravan and is immediately seen breaking off to head to the Ducal Palace.

Members of the Golden Wheel and Golden Arrow companies were seen in the Blade and Stars Inn for a business meeting. It would be said that the two left in joyous moods with possible ventures on the horizon for both

The blonde, limping priestess called Eiluvial was completely gone on the night of Midwinter - missing from even her lodging at the Helm and Cloak Inn, and if she was seen during the day, her limp was nearly gone; she walked with proud purpose.

A rather eclectic group of men and women ventured into the Graveyard outside of Baldur's Gate and spent many hours patrolling the grounds. Twas said that many of the walking undead were returned to the earth with signs of reburial and holy water prayers being conducted.

A one-eyed man, clad in lusterless chains and scales, strides through the Palace District. With a sealed scroll case under his arm, he steps readily towards the Ducal Palace, thick winter cape fluttering behind him in the winds. He stops for but a moment before the Balduran seat of power, solitary viridian gaze lifting to the skies, tracing the impressive structure by its height. A moment later, he enters.

Some may see Solomon adding a post to the board outside of the Elfsong Tavern. He tacks it in place with a half smile and heads inside to get a drink before leaving the City.

As the first rays of Sun set upon the Eastgate District, the street merchants move to fill their stands once more. Those who pass the public bulletin board may notice a fresh message carved into it. Certain letters seem to be painted in blood red.

"In sHadOws, useless, blundering diRt gets washed away quickLy; loOse lips sewN together."

Below the message is an etching of a coin, depicting a raven carrying a pouch in its beak.
"It is more honorable to be raised to a throne than to be born to one. Fortune bestows the one, merit obtains the other."

As the sun sets on the Harbor, a number of people make their way into the Minstrel's Muse. Among them are a pair of Knights, paladins of their faiths, a Druid, a blond man in red armor, a man in Black with an eyepatch, and a thickly-accented woman wearing the grays of the Northern Watch.

A few hours later the parties left. A sealed scroll was dispatched with the master at arms of House Darius, headed for the Ducal palace.

Posts go up outside the ORH Chapterhouse, around BG's lands and up in the various towns between the states areas below.
CAUTION

The Order of the Radiant Heart asks that anyone traveling away from Duchal Lands, be it towards the North as far as Boarskyr Bridge or to the South as far as the Cloud Peaks, to not travel alone or without protection. If you require aid in getting to the various places between please do not fear calling on those of the Order of the Radiant Heart.

The reason for this is there was an attempted kidnapping of Shandril Brightmantle, Priestess of Selune a first encounter near the bridge of Boarskyr, the actual attempt made in the Cloud Peaks. Though they did not prevail, we do not wish anyone to be caught unawares.

Those that made the attempt are the Pirate known as Karn, Hell Captain of Roaringshore and the Hellstorm, a male Hin Warlock, and a Female Elf who is a possible Arcanist.

Karn is a tall human, his hair is a dirty blonde mohawk, and his visage was given to be of an ugly face. Unfortunately no descriptions further for those who were in tow with him.

A one eyed man, clad in lusterless scales stops by the poster, eye narrowing as he reads it. Gloved hand moves over his face as he finishes, he then quickly rips one, rolling it up and tucking it in his sleeve. Those who may notice him would hear him mutter as he stormed off towards the East Gates, his features a dark whirlwind.

"[expletive] idiot."

A hooded man writes on the bulleting board:

"The Golden Thieves (Arrow company) has close ties to the Thieves Guild, I spoke myself with one of their ex-employees, Horlon, in Calimport and he told me that as soon as he crossed the thieves guild, The Golden Thieves (Arrow) Company fired him and disowned him even after being a loyal worker, be very careful when working and trusting these ruffians of the Golden Thieves (Arrow) Company"

DM Hera wrote: Wed Feb 15, 2017 6:14 pm Deep with in Baldurs Gate Harbor District, a series of twisting streets and dark allies stretch forth. A particular street whispered and gossiped of leads to a tall green house, with shutters hanging from hing and lights long gone. Locals speak of this mansion once belonging to a Merchant who made his coin selling snake oil hope. He offered victims during the year of plague that once struck this great city bottles for a price, and then charged higher as he ran through his stocks, even though he knew the cure did not work.

This green bottle was nothing more then salt water with a few beans and a bit of other sparklies to sell it to hopeless, desperate and needy folk. His victims became the nameless, faceless dead, the witnesses were few and he skirted himself around mortal laws. Though no man goes beyond the reach of the gods story goes as one day a man in armor came.

This large man in armor metered out the gods justice, removed the rich Merchants door from its hinges and brought judgement upon the Snake Oil salesman. The merchants victims shall suffer no wrong so rumor goes.

Now up that lonely long street the Merchants door sits against the wall of his now empty mansion. Prayer like candles flicker before it, dimly lighting the street and notes tacked to its faded green wood. The notes are plea's for justice, wrongs perceived and needs for vengeance.
DM Hera wrote: Wed Jul 19, 2017 9:39 pm Deep with in Baldurs Gate towards the Harbor District the city streets grow narrow and the bright summer sun is dimmed by tall buildings casting shadow below. Along these corridors and ways, the little folk pass their daily business and lives with a few whom might whisper if asked correctly of a narrow road to an old mansion. This dark road leads to a small makeshift shrine. The shrine is an old green door to the former mansion of a corrupt merchant, where numerous candles in different stages of burn rest all around. People in the know come here looking for justice and place a name upon parchment before tacking it to the door.

A pale woman whose visage was mostly hidden by a worn mask depicting three thunderbolts, clad in dark armor with red sash tied about it,a towershield and spear noticeably strapped to her back, a warhammer at her right hip and a blade was at her left could be seen moveding through the winding streets of the Harbor District her silver eyes shifted over the folk she passed by as she made her way to an old decrepit mansion. The woman paused before the building her head tilted up to look upon it in the dark under the light of the moon, she then stepped over towards the green door brushing away dust and ivy crawling over it revealing old pieces of parchment with varying names.

The woman's fingertips moved over the silent pleas of old her gaze taking into account the number, a thick book was retrieved from her pouch and there upon opened to a new page to which she began to scrawl in the names of those written upon the door, soon after the book was closed with a loud snap and returned to it's pouch. From within another pouch the woman pulled free a red sash and a coin bearing two faces, the sash was tied about the door handle and the coin placed at the base of the door amidst the candles that burned at varying stages.

With that the woman stepped back and turned making her way out of the shadow cast by the old mansion and into the alleyways.

Those who seek information in the docks are often met with blank stares even when a bit of gold changes hand. Loyalty seems fierce among those who might have information on "The Watchers", as some have come to know the mysterious entity that seems to keep crime under a firm grip in the city of Baldur's Gate. However, with enough diligence (and coin) information can still be had for those with the means and desire to seek it. It appears the vaunted "Thieves Guild" remains alive and well, perhaps even stronger than in past years. Visitors to the city would be wise to mark what territory they travel in...and keep an eye on their coin purse while they're at it.

Standard information/rumor that can be picked up by those frequenting the Docks district of Baldur's Gate:
Hidden: show
Travelers arriving in Baldur's Gate via the East Harbor might notice some strange things at first glance. The Flaming Fist presence on the docks themselves would seem somewhat minimal, despite it being such a high-traffic area, with valuable goods coming in and going out on an almost continuous basis. While one might think this would create for a breeding ground for armed robberies, extortion and murder, this part of the city has much less violent crime than one would expect.

While some with less insight might attribute it to the Flaming Fist Headquarters looming in the northern parts of the district, those who actually spoke to the people who lived or worked in the area would be met with some strange rumors. Tales of watchers in the night. Many might speak of times now and again when those who brought the locals harm or tried to prey on one of them in one way or another were taken by these "watchers," yanked into the shadows and never seen again.

Those who spoke to the Flaming Fist about the rumors would be met with various theories and speculation depending on who exactly they talked to, but one aspect would remain consistent throughout: the mercenary company's attitude was that they had no interest in fixing what wasn't broken

For those interested in joining the Thieves Guild, please see below:

// To any players that are interested in joining the Thieves' Guild, here are some core concepts to keep in mind, as they are the main things we look for in a prospect/future member:

1. Try to remain in character as much as possible.
- The Thieves' Guild is a medium to heavy role-play guild and, as such, we place a very high importance on a players ability to stay true to their character concept.
- Roleplay ability and adherence to character concept are ultimately what we look for in a prospect, mechanical compatibility(being able to pick pockets, disarm traps) is not a necessity. Simply put: If your character thinks and acts like a "Thief", they will have a very good chance at becoming a member of the Family.
- Players with a penchant for excessive OOC and/or grinding without offering adequate role-play that reinforces their character concept will likely be given a miss by our Guild.

2. Communicate with and treat your fellow players respectfully.
- We have very high standards for player conduct. The Thieves Guild is, and always will be, a co-operative Family of characters, and not a competitive 'guild'.
- Being supportive of your fellow players(especially ones new to the server) is a necessity when it comes to being considered for membership. The TG, much like the server, thrives and is at it's best when it's players treat each other with fairness.
- Toxic behavior, derogatory remarks towards other players, or otherwise 'poor player form' will likely earn a player an immediate disqualification.

3. Try to have fun(and patience) with the training process.
- The stalking/training process can last anywhere, ideally speaking, from 1 to 2 months(depending on prospect/member activity).
- Perhaps the most enjoyable part of the "Thieves' Guild Experience" takes place during the stalking/training period(and almost every current and former member will tell you the same).
- Try not to have any expectations for special treatment or a fast track to membership, in so doing you may be setting yourself up for disappointment.

Essentially, be patient, continue to RP as you normally would, hone your skills, and, most of all, have fun! With any luck Our whispers will eventually find your ears. Hopefully this helps any would-be Thieves' looking to join the Family. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to PM the Guild. :)//
