A battered and battle-damaged knight may be seen dragging himself through the northern lands in the recent days, toward Baldur's Gate, eventually arriving there.

Some common folk that travel by caravan via the Coast Way north may even stay far from his lumbering form, dragging his sword next to him, sauntering southward as if some inner force beyond reason, propels him—do they consider him like an Undead, not strange to witness within the Fields of the Dead, from time to time.

Treading slowly but surely in a nearly straight line, one may surmise his origin was the Troll Claws...at least, direct north of the Fields, as one could reason.

Entering the Farmlands, the knight is stopped and held for moments be the Flaming Fist station, who eventually let the bloodied man pass, having seen the determination in the face to reach refuge, and, taking the tattered cloak with still lingering emblem of the Just God, Tyr, to symbolize a figure that would bring no willful harm into the local.

Perhaps citizens of the Gate make a wide berth for the knight, as he finds his way to the Temple of Tyr, wanting nothing to do of a man who has come this close to Death itself—what if whatever curse befell him still lingered, and could spread by proximity? Such are sometimes the wild fantasies of the commoner, which start as uneducated reactions then spark even wilder rumors.

And from the northern lands, where this straggler of a lost battle may first have been seen stumbling close to the Coast Way road, all the way south to the Eastern District of the Gate where this knight finally enters the care of others trained in healing and hospice, a rumor may very well generate, radiate back outward:

A scouting mission within the Troll Claw Hills led to marks and wounds bearing devilish claws tore through armor, flesh and bone. And if it is true what the knight said to his caretakers upon his return, the Hells have opened up from within Caves once held by only Trolls...and Faith appears to be not enough to hold fast against their coming....

Over the last ten days anyone entering Soubar could hear
the constant buzzing and humming, with the occasional crackle like that of lightning coming from the fort of the ebon blades. Looking towards the fort itself one could see flashes of red, blue and purple through the window at the top of the tower. Occasionally a figure would walk by the window.
Slowly overtime a aura of malice and dread would set in and begin seeping into the vary land. Rumors have it that whatever was happening was in preparation to combat the devils in the north.

This night, in the middle of Soubar, a fierce clash broke out between a powerful armored drow mage, hooded ranger and a one eyed tiefling with a spiked warmace. Rumors say that in the end the drow was defeated, but her further fate remains unknown.

Ilveth and Natariel were guarding the shrine of Eldath, then 3 dwarves approaches, Higan, Gorki and Faustos, Higan being the newest ranger of the Elder Circle.

The dwarves and the elves started having some friendly conversation, Natariel left to reverie in the Grove and Ilveth kept talking to the dwarves, they spoke of Eldath and they too agreed that Eldath is a respectable Goddess.

One of the guardians of the shrine, Sylvia, approached the dwarves too, and talked to them about Eldath, they spent most of the afternoon talking about Eldath. Then Sylvia and two of the dwarves had to leave to rest, and Higan and Ilveth stayed at the Shrine.

Admorin, another guardian of the Shrine approached Ilveth and Higan, the three of them ccontinued discussing the nature of things, Adomrin grew tired of discussing nature and convinced Ilveth to experience nature, they both turned into dragons and went to hunt the evil gnolls of the woods, Higan had to leave as he had been fighting the gnolls all day.

Like two draconic lighting bolts, Admorin and Ilveth attacked the main fortress of the gnolls, where the demonic shaman tried to defeat them but was defeated swiftly.

After this, Admorin and Ilveth returned to the shrine...they agreed that the best course of action was to plant trees, a circle of trees, and so they did.

If approached by authority she simply moves on stating that anyone whom truly wishes to find her knew how.

As she The woman would watch from a distance, Morgan would approach her from behind making her presence fully aware.
"Taking an interest in the progression?" Curiosity evident on her lips. Morgan would delve into her Satchel and grab two apples, She would polish off both of them before looking towards the lady in red once again.
"Here.. Catch" She would say before tossing one of the apples in her general direction. Morgan would then lean back on a nearby post and bite into the apple and watch the Workers as they Continued Construction on the walls.
Image
A Few Paces behind Morgan one would see a Figure wearing Black full Plate with the insignia of a Black rose on it and wielding a Great Sword standing at attention. It radiated an aura of malice and dread. From its Helm one can only see two glowing green eyes peering out at all who enter its gaze. The Figure seemed well warded and
bolstered by an aura of necrotic energy. It stood Cold and unmoved as if waiting for something.

Exactly a day after the recent wanted leaflets filled the streets, notorious tiefling fighter called Jalib presented himself to general Scar at the Winding Water fort.

The conversation was brief and soon the tiefling left in peace. Those who saw him later on the road can attest he was very frustrated at something, almost enraged.

A monk of the Old Order named Mi-Le has been spending the last couple nights in Soubar, after the recent Zhentarim visit to the town.

Kazimir Resnik, commonly known as the healer of Soubar, makes it known around the settlement that the monk Mi-Le and Daishi Tora will be helping out at the healing tent, with the latter being a student of the former - both following something called 'The Way'. Kazimir can be seen to be perhaps unusually respectful towards Mi-Le, addressing him with the honorific of 'Teacher'. The helpers at the tent don't charge for their healing, which the priest doesn't seem to mind (perhaps relying on others to still seek out divine healing). Mi-Le would easily be known to be better at stitching wounds than Kazimir.

Image

Over a period of several days, the priest can be seen conversing with several varying individuals. A frank exchange of words with Morgan Blackrose left the priest displeased towards the necromancer but not hostile.

Image

One of the Zhentilar soldiers now stationed in Soubar found himself distracted by a loosely clad woman passing through - and reprimanded for it. Much to the priest's amusement.

Mi-Le can be seen standing quietly by Kazimir's tent, often with a gentle smile on his face. He attends to any who seek medical treatment.

In his spare time, he might be seen meditating in the tent or tidying up. He sometimes writes in a book.

This stationed around the growing common 'Front Line Fist compound at the Winding Waters may have noticed an elf clad in dark leather armour and a deep hood stumble into the camp.

Those who would look closer would see the elf covered in lacerations, his armour torn in places.

Those who would have had an extraordinarily good eye would notice a black ichor covering his boots and dripping from an arrow clenched tightly in his hand.

The elf approached the Flaming Fist officer and spoke in low words for a short while before stumbling back to a post. Leaning heavily, he would draw out some writing equipment from a pouch at his side and settle back to start writing.

Mi-Le shows no disdain or aversion for the monster races and villainous locals who now avoid the tent. The monk doesn't try to push anyone to use his services, either. He simply smiles at any suspicious locals he notices watching him. He also says hello to any who may pass by the tent. All in all, he speaks and acts in an unassuming, friendly, and quiet manner. He generally does not speak unless spoken to.

To those who introduce themselves to him, Mi-Le smiles warmly and introduces himself as "Mi-Le, a monk of the Old Order." Unless directly asked about the Old Order or the Way, the monk would not elaborate on either topic.

Those who do utilize Mi-Le's services might find that the monk has some experience in treating injuries. Although Mi-Le does not call upon divine aid to heal his patients, his knowledge of medicinal herbs, bodily injuries, and illnesses suggests that the monk has tended to more than a few people in his life.

((The following screenshot shows Mi-Le's ranks in Diplomacy and Heal. Please feel free to use or ignore the roll results, or make rolls of your own; I'm fine with any approach.))

Over the past tenday, a stout could be seen roaming the length and width of the Trollclaw Mountains. Armed with a morningstar and shield, he conducts countless patrols through the area, clearing any gathering of troll and troll-kin. Curiously, he also stops to inspect the local trees and plants, gather herbs and every now again, would be planting seeds along the paths and in the more wild areas. As he wanders, the wildlife seem drawn to him and would trail him along his journey. He continues this day in and day out, seeming as though he had a connection to the land itself. Most curious for a dwarf.
