Those paying close attention over the years may recall having seen a wizard, aloof and stoic, use the tower on the odd moon. He has purchased supplies in the village, supped in its Inn, and some say has participated in its defense more than once. Most would not know his name, and his comings and going are generally marked by the flash of magic seen upon the tower's balcony.

Aside from a few rare companions, a stern looking warrior and others less able to be recalled over time, the wizard is noted for his bald pate, enchanted staff, and black fur cloak.

Quietly came the afternoon to Gullykin on the 27th day of Marpenoth, when a maybe unusual group step over the borders of the village.

An elf female and a human man, both dressed in mundane robes, a woman wearing light clothes and seemingly without any equipment, with a professional looking young man and a dalmatian dog leading them at the front.
The elf led a pack horse carrying many pouches, packages, and even a small barrel.
Those with keen eye to such, may notice the sizzling of the air under the heavy wards of the group, maybe the horse being warded the most carefully.

Without much time to waste, they made their way to the wizard tower, some of them could be seen there since, from time to time.

The white horse, freed from her packages, has been set free in the small garden of the tower, leisurely grazing the high grass since then.

Hidden: show
Dust was stirred up in the rooms of the tower, as the carefully guarded packages have been transported inside, set down at one corner of the sleeping chamber, or locked away in the newly placed, large chest.

Arcane runes were drawn around the chest, then again around the whole chamber by the elf, while the tracker of the group walked around to see how his skill could be used for the best as well.

// Everyone entering the sleeping chamber could/should make a spot roll //

A day or two passed when the elven lass finally left the tower without anything urgent to do, visiting the local inn and engaging in light conversation with the patrons.

Hinting she had enough of traveling for a time now, she inquires about the usage and history of the tower, interested in any details.

During the troublesome times, a deep gnome in a dark brown hood could be easly spotted wandering the surroundings of the tower, she seems particularly interested in the architecture of the tower. She would eventually enter the tower and spend some time inside it in the hopes of meeting other fellow wizards.
From time to time the gnome was also seen trying her hand at the alchemy table.
