A lost build Monk 6, Cleric 3, Sacred fist 2
So, i stopped playing on the server about 2 years ago and since then i had a harddrive failure which caused me to lose a lot of stuff including my monks build path. Can someone help me salvage this? the original goal was to create a character who could fight well unarmed. IF you can't fix it, please offer a suggestion to meet the original path and i'll just RCR
In terms of what feats I have? No clue!
Stunning fist I believe is one of them
Sorry i can't offer more information

Whats the stats/race? If you were going wisdom 20monk/3cleric/7SF is a pretty mean build but it assumes wisdom and intuitive strike, and you wouldnt have it at your current level so Im a little suspicious.

Seeing as you are only level 11 I would probably RCR. You might even still be level 11, depending on how much XP you've got into level 11. I honestly do not know what you are going for. Most monk/cleric/SF will either go max'd wisdom, or they will go max strength with just enough dex for the mithral light armor.
As for a punch monk, there are a hundred different ways to make a good punchman.
30monk - Max Wisdom
20monk/5SD/5WD (or 25monk/5SD) - HiPSing Max Dex Epic Dodge monk with full UMD
20monk/10Assassin - HiPSing Wisdom monk, though you wont get HiPS til mid epics
20monk/3cleric/7SF - A wisdom monk with some bursty cleric magic when you need it
20monk/10Divine Champion - Max Wisdom, more bonus feats at epic, higher BaB
16monk/8fighter/6SD - HiPSing Dex Epic Dodge Monk with higher AB, though cross class UMD
I could go on forever. Monk is a very flexible class.

Which of those is best to take if you plan on just fighting unarmed?

Monk 26 / Fighter 4 with Intuitive Attack which means Wisdom high for AB, AC and Monk attacks. (and the Fighter Class specific Unarmed Weapon Mastery). Eventually you will need better and better hear to make it into the Epic levels, but that is the case with 90% of builds.
Zkenic’s build list is all good. You really have to try hard to screw up a Monk.

Hmm i kind of enjoyed the sacred fist monk element of the character and was a strong roleplay point for him. Are you able to offer a rebuild of Monk/Cleric/SF with a focus on str?
I would also love a list of gear/spells etc that i need to take as i am a noob in all sense of the meaning and would appreciate an idiot proof plan.

We all once were so. You have to put in some effort to learn the mechanics and learn the Server yourself, because honestly, there is no such thing as an “idiot proof plan,” or at least, a one-size-fits-all plan for all Players.doctorsimon4 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 15, 2020 5:51 am ...i am a noob in all sense of the meaning and would appreciate an idiot proof plan.
Take a chance!! Learn the ropes and revel in your successes in playing the game well. That’s where the fun is!

For Sacred Fist builds the question is often whether you are mainly a monk who is picking up sacred fist for the high BaB and some divine flavor, a mainly a cleric who's combat shtick is punching.
The classic monk focused build is 20monk/3cleric/7Sacred Fist. You max wisdom, pick up intuitive strike, make sure to always have at least 2 monk levels for every non-monk level. Get Blazing Aura in epics, punch hard and run fast.
A cleric focused build works with what is listed above, but one thing should be noted. On BGTSCC divine power has been changed so you do not just get max'd BaB when you cast the spell. It now adds a bonus to AB, not BaB, based on CL. What this means is that Divine Power is better if you have high BaB classes mixed into your build.
If you are going for a hybrid middle ground you can also mix a few other things into it. 7cleric/3monk/10SF/10Hospitaler nets you only CL 25 but higher BaB. You can wiggle stats around a bit and do something like 6cleric/6monk/10SF/8Heriophant, which leaves you at CL 29 while still getting imp KD from monk, though you'll need to get up to 19 wisdom, so something like Aasimar is generally desired. You can also pick up stunning fist and imp unarmed strike without going monk at all. 6cleric/10Hospitaler/10SF/4Heirophant nets you CL 30 with BaB 27. You can also do something like 11monk/9cleric/10SF, which will get you greater flurry, CL21, and 9th level spells, but you will lose all your buffs in any zone that has a dispeller.
