Abilities stop working after death
Abilities like the Fast healing and the shifter's regen, stop working after death until the next rest. Is there a workaround this? If not, can it be fixed?

Only a rest, and this happens with many class abilities and feats, I don't know if the cooldown fixer feat could help with that or not.

same with the speed boost. if you get slowed once, and the slow expires, you need to shift back to human and then to shape, to get the speed boost again.

The cooldown fixer feat is passive, not active. It is not a new feat. It is just a proper name and description given to that random empty Resist Disease feat everyone has had for years.

Would it make sense that if one’s PC dies and pays Myrkul to return to the Land of the Living, that said PC would be Force Rested?

This would be a great alternative to a fix
