Soliciting suggestions: Rooms/things for a cult compound
I'm designing an area and running out of ideas. Was hoping some players might have suggestions for rooms that a cult might have in their compound. (e.g. armory, library, barracks, ritual room, etc.)
Edit: Also looking for stuff you might find or interact with inside these rooms!

i have a cult compound and it more or less has everything mentioned, but you also kinda have to specify what kind of cult because ours has a bit more for... cult reasons
, if you are talking in general though then what has been mentioned works
everyone is evil till proven otherwise

How about current in game drops that can be collected and offered up in cult room to do some effect.
or items around the cult place that are gathered to do the same type of thing.

Some very good ideas, keep them coming! (Especially for smaller, indoor rooms that might be connected to other rooms on both sides.)

I'm not sure what you mean by in game drops.DM Spartacus wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 4:56 am How about current in game drops that can be collected and offered up in cult room to do some effect.

Well rather than create additional items. Alternative use of quest items, or animal skins, plants, blood vials, potions, anything really that fits your idea etc
But something perhaps that needs collected or earned or is in a dungeon adds to the collection effort and therefore whatever function it does, summons something visual, an npc, a trader, whatever

I don't think I can use items from other quests without breaking those quests, but using items such as animal pelts, potions, etc is interesting. I'll try to think of what might be done with these.
