Juliet Silversong, the soothing bardess

Image

Juliet brings only original and deeply sincere music, she is quite spirited and her general appearance is notably polished. She seems to have the ability to “heal” people with her music. Not that she is a physical healer, she barely knows how to apply a bandage. Her songs however are able to reduce stress, lower anxiety and depression, and in certain cases distract people from pain.

It’s unknown where Juliet exactly hails from. Judging by her skin, the blonde young woman has lingered in the sunny south, and when looking at her outfits, she has traveled quite some distance, mostly by ship.

Her eyes are what strikes one immediately as her irises look like discs of soft ancient gold. A match with her gold blonde hair with gilded highlights, which was actually her natural look with a gorgeous glisten.

Level 1 starting abilities :

Strength 14
She knows her way around fighting and defending herself, even though her skills are basic. She also always made sure to stay in physical shape.

Dexterity 14
She has the ability to use most balistic weapons, and her reflexes are slightly higher than the average commoner.

Constitution 10
Her body is fragile when she gets struck by an enemy, and drinking is not one of her best talents. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t drink though!

Intelligence 10
She is educated, but rather in a few specific themes only. Reading people is perhaps not one of her best abilities.

Wisdom 10
She is not stupid, just decisions she made in her life not often were her best.

Charisma 20 + 3
What she lacks in other areas, she competently compensates with her personality. To people she not only appears as attractive, she also appears quite accessible and open-minded. She has a friendly and inviting tone, and a warm personal image. Her positivity and creativity also strengthens her manipulation of the Weave.

Current level : 14

Alignment : neutral good

Deity : Sharess

Already during her first days in the region, the newly arrived bardess made her debut with a song she wrote on the ship to Baldur’s Gate.

Just outside the walls at the campfire on the junction, her song started with a low husky voice, the sound from her lute and her lyrics slowly delivered to the surrounding world.

Give me your heart and your soul… give me a reason to offer me whole.
Eyes that make me lower mi-inee… a smile that gets lost behind a glass of wine.

Like a painting that requires no revision… nights of endless love and indecision.
Everyday words do something to me… a heavy door and only you-u hold the key.

Her voice struck a higher pitch, and words came out a bit more loud.

Gimme your heart ‘n your soul… gimme a reason… to offer me who-ole…
An affair that really wa-ants to spill… share its glory as if it were the goddess’s will…

Now you have entered my heart… us exploring a world that isn’t on any chart.
A laugh that gets lost on your lips… a desire as poorly hidden as sunlight during an eclipse.

Her vocal range reached upper levels, likely affecting listeners around her deeper, dominant, competent with a wide spectrum of attractiveness to it.

Gimme your heart ‘n your soul! Gimme a reason… to offer me who-ole!
Troubles ‘n sorrows fa-ade away! Not luxury but necessity has become our pla-ay..

Oh yeaah-eeh..!

Her fingers silenced the strings of her instrument, before she fired them up one final time.

Gimme your heart ‘n your so-oul! Gimme a reason… to offer me who-ole!
No words are needed to explain! …. Pick that rose and let lo- o - ove reign…

Her voice softened in that last bit before also the melody she produced with her lute died out.
