From what I've seen, the model is just a resized iron golem and it could use some improvement to be more in line with the arts and lore that goes like "golems made of metal and wood". Problem is I've checked the vault with something like "clockwork golem" in mind and haven't found anything that would serve the purpose. Thus, I imagine it would probably take a conversion of some model or a free asset to be implemented. Too much of a hassle, I guess?
As an alternative, there're warforged models that fit the theme. With it being unanimously discarded as a candidate for a playable race, maybe the models could still serve some purpose? See the screenshots and links provided below; those creatures do have the "metal and wood golems" vibe written all over them. And it also got me thinking that using such models would have another reasonable benefit. I haven't had experience with a gondsman mechanics-wise, but the wiki states "It can use any equipment appropriate for i's size". Not sure if it includes armour, so I apologise if I'm wrong here, but I guess implementing a humanoid model would allow gondsmen to have visible armour then? It could offer a lot of customisation options for anything Techsmiths on the server have in mind, while the current iron golem model offers nothing of that sort.
From what I've found at the vault, there's one option for NWN2 (I think screenshots from the Warforged discussion here on the forum refer to it), and one for NWN. The latter looks more in line with gondsman arts I've seen, but would require conversion to NWN2 models and some polishing, I imagine. Still, with the equipable armour in mind even the former variant would fit just fine, I think.
That's what I have in mind. Once again, apologies if I get something wrong about how gondsman's mechanics and/or modelling work. Just thought I'd share it.

P.S. On a side note, while going through the vault, I've stumbled upon this marut model that seems to be close enough to how the creature looks like in some arts. Maybe it could be implemented for the summoning spell if it hasn't been already? It's a conversion from another game, but still. Haven't seen which one you have on the server, but in case it would be an improvement over the existing model, I'll just leave it here.
