After exiting the forest, Karl roamed around Tethyr for a couple of months, speaking in tongues, or otherwise foretelling of strange events.
Though most of his words were gibberish, on occasion he seemed to speak of events yet to happen that actually came to be.
One such "prophecies" was foretold by Karl when he was in Tweyar. A small village in Tethyr, at that moment experiencing an especially severe drought:

One such "prophecies" was foretold by Karl when he was in Tweyar. A small village in Tethyr, at that moment experiencing an especially severe drought:
Sleeping she might storm,
she would provide,
upon a doubtfully drab singer,
when the tides turn and the waves crash.
Nobody took any heed to his words, until an old, washed-up bard entered the village. While his arrival (or his songs for that matter) made little impact, the usually calm and slow moving Sulduskoon River became more restless at night, with ripples in the water even turning into what you might call waves (if you looked at it favorably). Shortly after, the first rain in weeks followed.
Since it takes a lot of effort to understand him, and most of his gibberish was … well… gibberish, people often didn’t take his words seriously. Yet after the “Prophecy of Tweyar”, as some people quickly dubbed it, Karl (claims he) became known to some as “The Mad Seer from Tethyr”, dubious as his track record might be.
While there is no promise that any of these things were actually said, nor any proof that they are true, here are the rumoured prophecies of the Mad Seer from Tethyr.
