Some of the XP costs seem very low, especially for wands. All in all, this sounds like a great idea and I'm excited to see time and effort being spent on looking closely for solutions to the abundance of consumables. Hope all the crafters will jack up the prices!
I fail to see how this will improve anything for the crafters, let alone their customers. The way I read it, this allow those who play a lot to craft more than those who play less, due to having a larger expendable xp budget.DaloLorn wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2024 6:44 amAdd a second dimension to consumable costs, allowing crafters a little more leeway with what they charge for their products. At the moment, crafters have basically no profit margins to speak of, because everyone knows how much gold it costs to make an item, and that they can just look for a cheaper one. By allowing the crafter to put a gold value to their time and energy, they can choose to increase prices (or not!) without being immediately blacklisted by their would-be customers.
I think a proper utilization of Mudd's would solve that issue. Then there's also forums where people can post their items for sale, and where people can post that they are looking for items.
We did try to encourage that with the Mudd changes that went live today. (Bugs notwithstanding. I'm working on the one I've heard about so far.)JustAnotherGuy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 4:16 pmI think a proper utilization of Mudd's would solve that issue.
