"Ain't sure wutter make of this 'ere ghost ship," thought Tugger. "Well, gis I know wutter make: bags."
The "shiny holy people" and other upstanding citizens bantered endlessly with the Fist the evening the ghost ship was towed into harbor. They questioned the guards for information, gleaning almost nothing that couldn't already be picked out with a sharp eye from the docks. They begged to be let aboard for investigations and were soundly rejected. For all their good intentions, they could not must results.
Meanwhile, the hin and his companions took matters into their own hands. A deft combination of magics, stealth, and guile allowed them to board the ship. They now knew what only a handful of people beyond the Fist themselves knew about that ship, and only that handful knew of their boarding attempt ... let alone the silk they commandeered from it.
"They wanner know wut 'appened s'bad, they kin pay fer it." Tugger grinned wolfishly at the thought to himself. He and his companions then set about to find buyers to line their pockets.

Posters and flyers appear in all public places. A woman with a nortern blonde mane and silver-white highlights alongside would help to hang and hand them out herself. So the word would spread soon, an event is coming up.
It might be a charity event, they say. But food and dance and a good time seems promising as well.

Maps would be also handed out to make it easier for folks willing to attend. They would make it easier to find the location, which is marked with a little sun symbol.
Soon the Harvest festival comes,
around two days left.

Word spreads that during the Starfall celebration at The Minstrel's Muse, Alexandra Keenan happily accepted the marriage proposal of Cosimo Delucca after he performed a very elaborate song and dance routine!

A noble of minor prominence by the name of Lord Denton places a bounty of 10,000 coins for the live capture of one Richart Lynne, a guard that was formerly in Denton's employ. The man is accused of stealing from his master an heirloom of significant sentimental value. A description and sketch of the man are provided:
Human male of average height and build, fair skin, native to the Sword Coast. His hair is dark and he wears a thick mustache. He is a skilled fighter: approach with caution.
In the days that follow and in seemingly unrelated news, a Flaming Fist soldiers secure a small, underground laboratory near the farmlands south of the Gate.
Nathan wanders past one of the bounty posters, glances at it and tilts his head. He snatches the poster to make a note of the man's name, before wandering off.

Freya has given the donations from the Bake Sale on the 30th of Marpenoth to the kitchen of the Ilmater temple. In the part of Baldur's Gate where one of the poorest folks live, she spoke some friendly words to the priestess and gave her several bags that were collected that day. Even those who came latere haven't been forgotten.
Also a list was kept by her this time. Eveyone who baught something or just donated or both, was noted. No matter how they donated, the organizers were grateful.

I Fingal Darius has just arrived here at Baldurs Gate, and from what I can gather I have been here before. Which is a lie! Or a trick played on you folks by some idiot. I offer 100.000 to the man, or woman who brings me this imposter!

Hardly a rumor, and more along the lines of casual conversation heard from the patrons departing the Minstrel's Muse- The Muse played host to a very unique guest for the evening, and for a time it seemed that Fingal's Imposter was found- but, in fact, it was nothing more than a cat, all along.
The guest seemed to enjoy his time there so much he came back, and the feline shenanigans weren't done yet- Soon after, the newly wed couple Max and Wren were seen departing with a loudly purring kitten in arm (on shoulder, to be more precise). Not that many would care what the reformed Zhent couple would name a cat, but this one stuck in memory: Merry Pricklepuss the First, Destroyer of Curtains.
Heads were scratched, questioned muttered, and most concluded that the couple must have rolled out of the Muse positively tanked.

A familiar figure with flaming red hair down to her waist enters the orphanage in the late hours of the evening, carrying with her a bulging sack of coin. If asked whom the donation is from, she simply smiles and responds, "The Mother never forsakes Her children. Just look to the moonlight to see Her love for us all." before she slips back out into the bustle of the city*

A small note is left on the message board outside the Elfsong Tavern, on the bottom left corner.
