Rumors swirl that Jorn the farmer sent a party led by the brave Elf Knight Dallenthel Wyndsoul down his Well...which had been emitting a Blue Light.
The party went to investigate and sounds of battle were heard, which went quiet after they excitied the Well...but the adventurers had looks on their faces ranging from shock to bitter determination.
One of them was mumbling something about green skinned humanoids and a Child...

Adventurers passing through the area have noticed an errie calm...and the sound of rythmick drum sounds coming from the nearby goblin caves.
An occasional Worg Rider was spotted prancing past the Ironfaar enterance...then dissappearing into the forest.....

A Story not a rumor flys...
Jorn the farmer, taking an early evening stroll came upon a half drow female named Maira...who had been warned by a Fist patrol the day before to not return to the Merchant Camp or near the City or the Farmlands... The others about the fire tolerating her foul prescience...beings named Derek..a human...Earediel...a female elf.
Over time, an arguement ensued and Jorn grew tired of the foul beings of darkness being near his home...the Fist not doing their duty or never being in the right place at the right time.
Jorn lost control and drew a sword, saying he'd take the head of the half drow female. The others stood in the way...many are not sure who started the fight...but Jorn nearly killed the half drow and slew the two adventurers who thought less of a farmer before the fight and lay at his feet afterwards.
The half elf known as Seadin came upon the scene and nearly killed Jorn...and Jorn fell bleeding from non-vital wounds into the street. This was witnessed by a Fist patrol and Seadin was banished from the city of Baldurs Gate upon penalty of death if he returns...he was seen carry the bodies of the Collobrators away....
Jorn was seen to by a healer of Chauntea and is recovering at home....as the Fist files his report and word is reaching Duke Eltan.
The peasants are whispering...and know the Fists policey toward Drow and Half Drow...word is spreading...Tolerance is Treason....and why oh why...are the beinga of darkness being tolerated......

A weary man sits in the Burning Wizard telling tavern patrons the tale of how he was captured by an all manner of evil humanoids and how Clan Ironfaar and the brave Axes of Ironfaar fought off hordes and hordes of evil creatures and saved his life. Soon enough this tale would spread through all the taverns in the region, including Baldur's Gate. Soon all would know that Clan Ironfaar is back and so is Furin Ironfaar.

All travelers and adventurers passing on their way to Beregost would notice a strange calm in the Lands about the Ironfaar Clan Home.
The Roads are safer for Dwarves patrol them again.
The Forest is safer for less goblinoids are seen.
Sounds of hammers upon anvils ring out of the Hall and echo through the Forest.
Travelers find rest in the Hall's outer areas.
Rumors swirl of the return of Foinus Ironfaar...and the Clan itself...bigger and stronger than before....having defeated a Horde of Goblinois outside there Home...proof given by the bodies that burn well into the next day; a dull orange glow in the sky seen for miles around.
The glow serving as a warning to evil and a beacon of hope to those who have kind hearts and honor...

A Rumor swirls that Keeper Galen'ael Glenstalker exited the Cloakwood in a rage after hearing rumors of Banites hunting his Brothers and Sisters...
He stalked the Road in a Rage...arriving at the merchant camp....
A man stopped and spoke to Galen'ael about his problems...more curious than a normal passerby.
It is then a rumored a voice on the wind...a whisper spoke to Galen'aell..and he drew is sword on the human...and told him he was about to die for being a Banite...
The human spoke his name before hand and took the bait and stupidly admitted his allegience.
Galen then killed the man within an inch of his Life...then tilted his face to his telling him his master was next...he then cut his throat and left him dead on the Road...away from the merchant camp near the shrine of Silvanus....
Rumor says the man name was Richard...something...
Galen'ael then left the scene...still speaking to a voice no one could see but him.

Recent rumors speak of a horrid sight discovered on the Trade Way north of Beregost…
Apparently, a patrol of Flaming Fist soldiers, led by an officer, was slaughtered by an unknown foe along the road. The soldiers of the group were found by the citizens of Beregost with great, vicious gashes in their armor, as if they were torn apart by a savage beast… large tracks were also reported in the area, amidst the chaotic footprints of the soldiers.
The most puzzling sight however, was that the officer of the patrol had a bloody name carved into his chest… “Lokie”
Or at least that’s what the townsfolk that brought the bodies of the soldiers back to Beregost for burial claimed they saw…
Anyone wishing for more information may feel the urge to ask around the town….

Word leaks out on a conversation between two Fist members:
"Sergeant, did you hear? Another patrol slain!"
The older Fist member calmly lit his pipe and answered without looking at person asking the question. "Yes, Dobbs, I heard, I heard"
Dobbs flung his hands up in the air. "But this is just monstrous! Another! That must be..."
"Three-hundred seventy two dead in the past couple months. Yes, I know. Doesn't concern me." The sergeant evidently enjoyed the aghast look on the face of Dobbs, as he chuckled merrily, then took a few puffs on the pipe. "Shocked are you? Well don't be. Perhaps you don't know something that I do."
The younger Fist stabbed his one palm with the finger of his other dramatically as he bellowed, "What I know is that we're dying! What are we going to do about it?!" He took a a few deep breaths to calm himself down, then continued. "Look, Sergeant, you may not care about this, but I don't want to die!"
The sergeant laughed softly and spoke once again. "Dobbs, calm yourself. Those dead soldiers aren't really dead soldiers."
"Huh?!"
"That's right. We learned long ago that it seems everyone is out to hunt our patrols and kill our guards just for the sake of doing it. I guess it makes them feel good or something. Well, Moruene has been making duplicate images of all our soldiers on patrol. The ones that die are just the duplicates while the real ones play cards in the barracks. We learned long ago that these decoys keep the criminals busy when they could be using their time to rob travelers, steal from the nobles and do other actions of that sort. But if they want to spend all their time fighting illusions, that keeps them out of our hair and keeps the city safer."
Dobbs jaw dropped wide open. "You mean... you mean we haven't lost all those?"
"A few, but not nearly so many as reports have stated. If we lost as many men as have been reported, the Baldur's Gate cemetery wouldn't have been able to hold the bodies -- not if we burned them." He laughs and continues, "If we had thought of this trick before, it sure would have saved us a whole lot of effort. Now we can sit back and watch all the highwaymen and vagabonds fight imaginary enemies. Sounds good, doesn't it?"
"Yeah, it does! I'm surprised the Weave Masters haven't done the same thing!"

The roads between Baldur’s Gate and Candlekeep, normally chaotic with bandits, brigands, monsters, and Gods know what else, have been much more orderly as of late. Several patrols of Weave Master Scouts and Guardians have been present along the Trade Way, and have been deftly dealing with evil spell casters and common banditry alike.
Some folk say that these increased Weave Master patrols are simply to assist the Flaming Fist patrols along the roads that are frequently attacked, yet others whisper words that they may be a sign of something else… Rumors say that perhaps some sort of great threat towards Baldur’s Gate may be approaching, but most folk simply think that it’s nothing more than balderdash.
