*a letter is sent to the Fist with Elias Murdan name on it*
"Here is the report i made to the council of Doron Amar on the matter of Tryseen and Layana. I hope this helps you on your current investigation, or you can use the other side to write notes on. Its no where near detialed as something a Fist Officer would wright, as well elves tend to trust each other based on earned respect"
"Ive been hearing rumors of elves picking fights, then saying they are from Doron Amar, Tyressen and an elven miss named Lanaya names where attached. upon investigating I met up with the two, both wearing Thayan outfits and Lanaya claiming to be a mage, she clearly was not. When i asked Lanaya said she was of Doron Amar, and Tyresssen seemed eagar to spare with a cousin. Then i witnessed Lanaya starting fights, eager to stab someone as she said, claiming to be Thayan and outright begging people to fight her"

A purple-cloaked woman leaves a note to one of the watchers standing guard by the Flaming Fist Headquarters.
Pass this along to your superiors, she says. The note is written in an elegant, feminine hand and reads:
I, Geza Eriksdottir, along with two other people, have spotted a group of drow elves skulking about the Wood of Sharp Teeth which, by one of my companions' account, comprised four individuals. Be advised that they employ foul magics.

There were three of them, nay make that four of them now. The enchantments casted on the Corporal of the Guard's helmet allowed his tired eyes to clearly make out The Beast, and two other ladies of possible but more than likely ill repute. The fourth to join these longclaws happened to be the very druid whose worg the corporal had slayed earlier that day along the Coast Way. He lowered his hooded lantern and bent closer, very cautiously as to not reveal his rather lofty location.
Silently Fentin reached for his sheathed sword. "What are ye up to now Randallonna?" He breathed as he watched the ladies converse amongst themselves, next to Farmer Thomas' well. Even though he couldn't hear what was being said, the Flaming Fist corporal knew it couldn't be no good.
Reaching down he snatched up his lantern and quickly signaled the tower guard to send sentries to his location. Fentin prayed he could catch the ladies off guard before they became alerted and scattered into the night.

A tall grim-faced fellow in shiny plate armour and a long crimson cloak approaches Captain Norton outside the Flaming Fist's compound in Baldur's Gate and speaks in a sure voice.
Greetings, sir. My name is Guy De Morte, recently arrived from Neverwinter, and I come as the bearer of grave news. I have recently discovered the existence of a circle of assassins by the name of The 13th Edition. One of their members, an otherwise pleasant little hin named Expedit, revealed this knowledge to me while attempting to recruit me into their fold. When I told him to accompany me here to your headquarters, he refused and began casting magics, to which I responded with drawn steel. One of his allies, a human woman of delicate features by the name of Tsubaki, or something to that effect, immediately sprang to his aid, but I was able to keep their attacks at bay. Unfortunately both were able to flee shortly afterwards. It may be wise to spread the word about this group and keep on the lookout for them.

A pretty, chestnut-haired woman strides confidently into the Flaming Fist Keep's outer compound. The guards all pause to take note of her presence; perhaps letting a smile or gawk overcome their typical stern expressions. Some may or may not notice the flaming castle logo of Candlekeep on her blue outer robe.
She approaches the gate Captain and produces a sealed envelope from her satchel. Brief pleasentries are exchanged before she gives the Captain the envelope addressed to
Commander Crownsilver.
Inside the sealed envelope is a neatly scribed note using a simple script. A beautiful dried tropical flower is pressed neatly between the folded page.

The Corporal of the Guard felt physically ill as he staggered towards the duty captain's office. His vision was blurred and the entire Flaming Fist compound felt as if it were actually spinning. Fighting back the urge to vomit, Corporal Berlance knocked once upon Captain Koruleve's door than quickly entered.
Captain Koruelve, or as many called him the 'The Enforcer of Flame,' a grizzled, horribly scarred old soldier, a man of few words. Looked up from his desk upon hearing the young corporal enter, his tired gaze fell on Fentin for a few moments before he spoke. "Ah, it is you, corporal."
Corporal Berlance saluted. "Yes, captain. I have just returned from patrol. Having spent most of it unconscious on cold wet ground after being savagely attacked by 'The Beast', just along the outskirts of Beregost." He said as firmly as he could muster.
"That murdering she-shape" he struggled to say, "Nearly cloved my head in twain," Fentin managed to choke out as the room went dim around him.
"I...." The corporal's legs gave out and his body sailed foward his head bouncing off Captain's Koruelve's desk with a sickening thud.

Several days ago, three men were imprisoned for the murder of a Fist soldier, Thedran. Arakes and Victor Gatsan, and Perin Nephrune. In the end, Arakes confessed his crime, and was executed. His body was buried in the graveyard, in an unmarked location. Victor Gatsan and Perin Nephrune were released from prison, yet have been banished for a period of not less than three months from the regions of Baldur's Gate.

Rumors start to circulate that Sir Rokranon requested First Company's presence on the streets during his wedding. To ensure the peace is kept, and provide proper support for the nobility.
"Thedran also passes the actually request up his chain of command"

The next time Thedran visited the orphanage after the Rokranon wedding, he would have found a letter addressed to him waiting there. It is sealed with the house crest of a phoenix.
(( PM sent. ))

You man Tomar has overstepped his boundries once again. I Sergeant Rocshanks stood on patrol today by the tradeway maintaining the order of the day. A fair number of the adventuring communty had gathered around my post and communed. One such individual stood with a vile creature but broke no law of the Dukes and remained lawful and civil in my presence. The paladin Tomar approached this man and demanded that the creature be sent back from whence it came and the man refused. Tomar then proceeded in a choatic fashion to break the peace and order by killing the mans pet.
Obiously the man was upset at this and lashed out. I was enforced to break up this fight and put Tomar straight. I do not care for his notion of 'Good' and 'Evil' and only for the order of Law. Which he has broken, he is currently violated the following law:
Disorderly Conduct - Disruption of Official Business
Out of respect for our allegiance I let him go on a warning. If he steps out of line again he will be arrested and charged to the full extent.

The two reported followers of Bhaal, one human and one half-Orc were spotted again in Cloakwood sermonizing about the nature of Murder, the natural tendencies of the travelers in the wood towards killing, and the glee it brings their god.
A human was slain this evening near Cloakwood after the Fist was called in to investigate the death of a traveller... Some time later, an Orc was seen dragging the man through the forest.
Some have speculated that the church of Bhaal may be seeing a resurgence. Has the Fist's grasp loosened on the woods?
To whomever this may concern,
If you ever need an extra hand patrolling Cloakwood, a place I am well familiar with, send me a message. I am willing to remove the return of the Bhaalist. I have fought against them once in the great siege and I will fight against them again.
Sincerely,
John Roland
P.S. If you decide to you need a hand I can be reached at the Friendly Arm Inn

*A note left in the Friendly Arms Inn*
The Church of Bhaal has seen your communication and is not impressed. The god of Murder has plans within these woods and will not be swayed by your feeble attempts and outdated moralities. Our power grows daily.
We, born of murder, come soon for your orphaned children so that they may know his embrace.
Sincerely,
-Taltruss, His Divine Servant of the Kill
