*Dwarves are sharpening their axes, reinforcing their hammers, adding protections to their shields, and practicing those ancient songs of their kin going back to the beginning. All in preparation of a mighty victory and the feast to follow once again! Much tales of heroics, and stories worthy of telling will be shared from those that earned their ale in the epic Dragon-moot! The call is heard...*
"Once again hear ye! Hear ye! Kraak Helzak be holding the great third annual Dragon-moot! We will head forth from our gates to smote many O' evil Dragon in a row! Liberating their ill-gotten riches, and laying low any foes in between! The call goes out to Dwarves of Kraak Helzak, Gnomes, and honorary members near and far to join their brothers and sisters in this epic quest now laid forth! Let the battle cry's of Kraak Hezak eco though the mountains striking fear in the hearts of all that dare face us in battle!!!"

I hope that this letter finds you in good spirits and health. I am writing to you as you are highly respected and hold a strong voice among the clans of Kraak Helzak. In an effort to increase my skill in combat, strategy, and tact, as demanded by the Lady of Strategy, I am seeking those that may be able to help in this endeavor. I wished to improve my abilities fighting in subterranean environments as well as in the foothills surrounding you’re the Kraak Helzak surroundings.
If it is acceptable, I would like to remain among the peoples of Kraak Helzak for the duration of a couple of weeks while studying. I am more than happy to offer my support in performing patrols with your brothers and sisters, which will also allow me to gain first-hand experience, as payment for my request. I must admit I have not had experience fighting in such an environment nor fighting subterranean foes since assisting with the Derro invasion of Kraak Helzak, some time ago; and would look forward to any insight your hardy brethren and sisters could offer me in increasing my knowledge base.
I am unsure if you can make such a call yourself or if such a decision would need to be made by others, but I would greatly appreciate if you could offer your voice of support, that is, if you feel my request is acceptable. If additional payment for the services I have requested I am happy to discuss such with you. I appreciate your answer either way and can be reached at the Pathfinder Hall in Baldur’s Gate.

A letter arrives at Kraak Helzak, delivered to gate guards in person by a dark armored human warrior. The warrior would speak of having slain trolls on his way up into the mountains, an offering of vengeance for the depredations of the trolls upon the life and interests of the city.
The letter is simple and unadorned. The seal is in red wax, a circular imprint within which are two male heads, one smiling, one frowning, back to back.
It bears the intended addressees on its front, them being listed as: King, Council and People of Kraak Helzak.
Don't be angry, Patroclus, if you learn -
even though you're in Hades - I gave Hector back
to his father for a worthy ransom
But I shall give a proper share to you.
The mountains are getting out of control. The king is posting a bounty for troll hides collected by each hunting party. These sponsored hunting parties will be held regularly until the hills are brought under relative control once more.
First Hunt: To be held in a few days hence. Tell all members and those wishing to become one, to meet in the Halls of Kraak Helzak. Let is be known to all Dwarves and Gnomes. *11/19/2016 Saturday 10 pm GMT. - 5 pm est.* (This is geared at this time for those around mid levels (but all are welcomed lower or higher) as Sunday is one for those in the epic ranges. This is last minute but there will be others to follow.)

Upon hearing of hops from the Dusk road being captured yet again on it's way to Kraak Helzak by a growing number of desperate goblins willing to take extreme losses to win. The Stonebar clan calls on it's kin to help discover who or what's caused the flood of goblins to the margins of the woods, and to learn those secrets hidden behind walls of trees deep within the Reaching woods.
//Player run event for Kraak Helzak members, and those wishing to join. An Rp-able reason for us to get together and kick some arse. This Sunday at 10 pm GMT (5 PM. est) is the announcement made through the halls. Meant for those in the epic and upper teens range.//
Driven from their normal hunting grounds, more and more Gnoll are pushed toward the extremities of the Reaching woods as a result of Magmire's march, and it's lingering effects. Urlolauau a powerful Gnoll chieftain has taken leadership of mutable displaced tribes, and leads them in an even more fanatical worship of the demon lord Yeenoghu. Her threat has been growing for many years, but now is her chance for true dominance. Embolden with a new zeal, and empowered with fiendish blood in their ranks they push outward raiding the towns along the dusk road and are a bane to all that travel and live upon it. The relative tranquility of the woods now feels like a distant memory.
The druids still protect the ancient shrine of Eldath, but much of the rest of the wood has, at least for now, been lost. A band of Rangers have set up base camps in the woods, all the while towns, cities, and merchant orders of the area are hiring adventurers across the Heartlands to keep this new plague of Gnolls in check. Do you have what it takes to match magic and steel with them?

Other rumors of the north Reaching woods
* The swiftness of Urlolauau's rise and conquest was quick enough to force Bandits, Wanted men, Goblins, and other Gnolls to stash away treasures they couldn't carry while escaping the areas they had once operated out of. An observant person might become rich if they survive.
* The Shrine of Eldath is protected by the Druids. As well, Eldath has blessed large flowing waters within the region -like waterfalls- and they are largely avoided by the Gnolls for now.
* Scouts report that these Gnolls are battle hardened veterans blooded by countless wars, infighting, survived plagues, and many of which have the empowering blood of Fiends in their veins! They should not be underestimated do to this revelation. (Epic area)
* Rumors Speak of an ancient bear the size of a mountain that's been named White tooth, do to his bone ridges being shaped like a small peak in the Sunset mountains of the same name.
* Stories tell of young woman disappearing from towns and homesteads in the area over last year before the Gnolls rise to power. With all the chaos from that time period most sadly went unnoticed.
* A band of Istishia worshipers speaking about some gate traveled into this regen of the woods early in 1350, and have not been heard from sense.
* Pressed by Gnolls following Urlolauau, and Gnolls fleeing her wrath. The Gobliniod's that once dominated that area of the forest have become more disparate and savage. The Goblin's still greatly out number the Gnolls, but they lack the power to fight -her- Gnolls. Though they will readily pick off any unrelated Gnoll tribes, and the occasional lone Fiend blooded when the opportunity arises.

The Trolls can not be thinned out in one day, more hunts to come soon!
It seems the Gnolls invading that part of the Reaching woods are responsible for the chain reaction that denied us our much needed Hops!
Gnoll butts were liberally kicked in good measure!

// Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone wanted to plan some dwarfy events for during the weekdays at all? Like some of you I work during the weekends so im unable to make it to most of the planned events.
However I would love to get a weekday crew together that's focused on dwarf events and happenings a couple nights a week. PM me or post on the forums if you're interested.
Times would be Mon-Wed - Evenings. 5pm or later CST.
Baggar Orcslayer—having contributed to the contest win of the dwarves of the Sword Coast over Orcblooded in the Imp Contest of Spears, and having participated in the escort of Dunhelm Deepsnur from Soubar to the safety of Kraak Helzak—has heard rumor during his norther coast wanderings that the sworn clansmen within Kraak Helzak have made headway in solving the clues to the Imp's treasure hunt...and Baggar sends word to the dwarves involved in this challenge that, once again, Baggar of Clan Orcslayer is willing to pledge his axe to the junta in the north, and, aid in the challenge laid out in this quest for treasure.

Then join us and fight to make something worthy of a people blessed to be born the chosen, Dwarves!))
