I may have found the location to install those. Will update with a reply if that fixes the issue.

I must have misunderstood the install location. I think the correct directory is:

C:\Users\<USER_NAME>\Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\modules\Baldurs Gate TSCC

I've installed the files into that directory and am now attempting to use the autodownloader.

I will update as more information comes in.

If that doesn't work, try downloading these two links (these are uncompressed versions of the files) and placing them in the directory C:\users\yourname\Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\modules\Baldurs Gate TSCC

Thank you, Endelyon. Those files did work! After placing them in the correct directory and subfolder, the download is now continuing normally. At the moment it is working as intended.

I'm hypothesizing that the godray file(s) are missing from the server for some reason and that the server admins may just have to re-upload them. Until that time your above link(s) did fix this particular issue.

EDIT: I meant that the original 7zipped files worked. I assume the quoted links work just as well, but I used the original (compressed) ones that you had linked.

Yes, it's a problem on our end, most users wouldn't have noticed it because those files are old and would have already been downloaded when the ADL still had them working properly.

Anyone who didn't have the file already (like yourself) will run into this same issue. We'll get it sorted.

The file exists, otherwise it won't appear in the directory browsing mode in the web service. There's probably a problem with how it translates instead from the + name to the encoded %2B.

Supposed guess worked out well, all files should stage properly with the right standard encoding now.

constantly gets the message that downloaded files can't be verified... First it was bg_misc_pack5.hak... That eventually sorted itself after 2 resets.
Now its the possibly immediate following file bg_d47_custom_v1.hak that will not verify, already restarted nwn2 at least ten times with no luck.

It sorted itself after a computer restart, well and a day of rest(although that probably had nothing to do with it )... Odd it was though.

I am a new player trying to get on the server.
Been using the auto downloader, but it is not working properly.

Get this error message:
bg_ S1.tlk was downloaded successfully, but it can not be verified. Please contact the server administrator at [email protected]

I did write that mail yesterday, but unfortunately have not gotten a response yet. So now I figured I would try the forum, so signed up.

Since this thread exists, I hope there is an easy fix for this?
