Urfindir's death was at the hands of the tiefling Azazel. Blackrose took the honor from the killing but weren't participants until the final execution. The manner of the original capture was by an overabundance of traps where Urfindir would run through.
19th of Hammer, 1358
Tear ducts have dried themselves out on River's upper most appendage. Discussion overheard by face mask donned tiefling Azazael that a blonde haired Aasimar is wanting his death, possibly by bounty. Marietta Thairo was named as potential originator of the bounty.

20 Hammer 1358
Spoke to River and Netanya at the campfire, they both mention the following names on the excursion into the Shadow Plane mirror of Baldur's Gate in olden days: River, Netanya, Aiydah, Nyxis, Szarilana. River had followed her then-boyfriend (Kargas) into the portal that ostensibly opened up near the abandoned cabin along the road that runs parallel to the River Chionathar from Wyrm's Crossing. There they encountered the shadow dragon, which was slain, and a woman named Liandra reliving painful memories. She is in the care of the Radiant Heart presently, but neither River nor Netanya have any idea how Liandra got there. Netanya also noted that everyone in the Shadow Plane spoke backwards.
Aurelien added that Liandra's soul is stuck in a sword, or maybe Liandra is a sword? Radiant Heart has the Sword. River refuses to speak the name of the group which possesses the helm that contains the soul of Liandra's sister, but says it is known by those who have the sword.
Not our circus either way. If you need more information, I'll probably track down Netanya.
-K
Addendum: Netnaya reports that she does not know the name of the woman trapped in the helmet and Nyxis has that artifact, wishing to keep it.

Re: The Records of the Whitewood Vanguard
20 Hammer 1358
Report on today's training: I had the members who showed up split in pairs, ideally with someone that will be there during our fight in the village proper. The one thing I specified in the making of those pairs is to ensure that everyone who does not have a mean to permanently end a troll without running out of the means to do so (limited arrows, spells or items) would have someone who could ensure any trolls the left would be handled by someone else, without the need of having to ask about it during a fight.
Furthermore, the idea with the pairing is that fights are a confusing mess, or members should have someone to look for, in order to quickly identify who is injured, missing or worse, in order to ensure we forget nobody. There was a suggestion to have either one of those two cast sending prior to the fight in order to maintain quick communication, it's unknown how well that will work. I do however, recommend we have sendings at the ready if our group splits, with someone standing further away from the fight itself ready to call upon the others.
With all that said and done, I took the groups for a quick run in against the Trollclaws denizens, it worked well enough, all things considered, and I recommend we take the time to set up pairs again prior to heading to the village, and for further large scale actions we're to undertake, even if they do not involve trolls.
We've also accepted the help of one ''Birch Tree'' the Half-Orc butler of Candlekeep, who would very much like to be present at the defence, he seemed to have a good opinion about the organisation of our group.
Members present:

20 Hammer,
I helped Hight Priest of Mystra in her Temple to egzaminate helmet who had Nyxis, to make sure there isnt soul in it. Looks like helmet, diadem lack of soul, just normal magical item.
Nyxis was accused by River of posession of "Helmet with soul"
Just short note.

Syndreth has expressed a need to return to Doron Amar and focus the majority of her time and attention to restoring liberty and function to her home. To that end, the Vanguard will continue to support her by offering her training, counsel, and guidance.
She will still be available on a per job basis for matters such as scouting, and possible combat. But she will remain apart from the Vanguard by being posted in Doron Amar for the foreseeable future.
She is yet one of us and has the full support of the administration of the Vanguard.

22 Hammer, 1358
Last day, (21 Hammer) i was visiting Candlekeep to buy some scrolls when i was looking at them i hear a conversation in next room. Woman and Half orc speak about know to us Book, Tower and Thayans. She was a bit upset there was no progress in this case, by any of the organisations (also she mention name of Captain). She sayed there isnt too much time to free slaves.
She also sayed about attempts of scouting tower, man name Isednuil in dragon form was on effect of field of antimagic nearby - thats what she sayed!
In my opinion, we dont know if this anti magic spell efect there or dead magic zone. If its first it can be dispelled, if not..this can make some problems.

Nathan, Steward of House Darius, had a wagon off loaded in Nashkel for our impending job tomorrow. Offloaded were the following supplies to be used by the Vanguard or the village we defend.
Eleven bushels (10 uses each) of anti-poison fungus.
Two bushels (10 uses each) of curative herbs.

Rumor of incursion in the Cloudpeaks prompted Doan's preemptive arrival before the Vanguard's march into the valley. Doan witnessed a hand to hand combatant of unknown identity with Sean amongst the undeath and troll. Spellfilcher, bow, sword, and palms in hostile intent toward the trio. Dispatched bodies lay strewn to the snow, victims of the incursion not aligned with Vanguard, one appeared to be of a Thayan origin. Maraav is tasked with further investigation of the body and its personal effects. The other victims were fetched from the snow and brought to internment at the Nashkel House of the Guardian where Malakai has been tasked to follow up after tomorrow's Campaign.

A Tiefling bearing crossbow I believe and mask, brown clothing stopped by the fire in Nashkel asking about the goings on in the Mountains. He stated he saw a bunch of dead trolls and a partly destroyed caravan. When observation as to what he knew was given he disappeared from sight.

Fierlith.
25 of Hammer, 1358
Meeting with Ashenie, priestess of the Broken God, concerning provided supplies for the village defence
Present: Michael Dunn, Fierlith Silverglade, Maraav
Deinir
Definite amount was not reached, the amount of donation towards the village was left to Vanguard discretion
The following notions were given:
1. Ask if Nathan Goldmane or house Darius can help offer supplies for the rebuilding of the village so that the gold could cover larger amount of resources
2. Ask the village how much they would need, and see how much is appropriate to give.
The Captain may look for Sister Ashenie if there are any questions left.

Ril'tyrr, Fenia, and Maraav are investigating into the background and numbers of the opposing mercenary company that struck at our rear in the last job. Currently many unknowns but their sigil, a golden hawk on red, or a golden hawk with a bell in its clutches, is the best lead.
