Some say two dozen, some say a few, but whether they are laughing or showing concern about the sighting all agree on one thing: The cats seemed unable to control their movements. They walked into walls, crawled, tried climbing unsuccessfully or simply walked in erratic circles. Their shrieks were that of confusion and fear.
With a frown, a blond man can be seen in the harbor, taking a few fish to feed the various local cats after noticing odd behavior. He seems to sit and watch them for a time, pensive, and follows a few of the ones that frequent the area about the Minstrel's Muse, seeing where they go and what they do, before disappearing back into the Darius Holding Company's warehouse. He appears to be looking to see if any of them seem focused or interested in any specific areas of the harbor that they otherwise hadn't normally congregated in.
Nathan may have seen Adelaide paying careful attention of the cats as well.

A golden-haired man makes his way to The Shelf of Many Books. After speaking to the owner and handing her a small bag of coins, he wanders down to the basement. The door can be heard closing and locking. After a few hours, he opens the door to emerge, purchases a few books from the owner, and leaves.
Those with a keen eye would notice signs that a very thorough search of the room appears to have been conducted. It was left the way it was found when he left, however, barring anything he might have found.

The night was still young, but the cell was so dark. Having just arrived by caravan for not more than a day, Ammon Wulf's past seemed to have caught with him as he lay on the cold stone bed staring at the ceiling. Being exiled from Arabel and the Knights of the Merciful Sword was bad enough, and now this.
The Flaming Fist guards were on watch, and there was one pacing the hallways back and forth. The bailiff was sitting in his chair with his feet on the table and Ammon's greatsword leaning against the wall nearby. In another corner of the prison a few guards were whispering something about stray cats acting strangely in the docks district of the city.
It would seem Tyr the Even-Handed is not with me, Ammon thought to himself. Used to a life of hardship and service, he waited patiently in his prison cell not speaking to any of the guards or other prisoners. In what seemed like months or years the bailiff finally approached his cell. He casted long shadows on the floor as he sauntered down the hall, caused by the ever-dancing flames of the hearth.
You ready to pay your fine and get tossed back on the streets, punk?
Ammon glared at the man and wanted to punch him through the bars, but the sight of his beloved greatsword sitting idly by with no wielder stayed his anger. He simply nodded.
Not long after, an errand boy runs up to them and hands a few papers to Ammon to sign, giving the Flaming Fist permission to withdraw 200 gold from his account.
Before dusk the next day, Ammon was released and his greatsword was returned to him.
And where was Tyr when I was in prison, muttered Ammon as he walked down the road heading out the east gate leaving a dusty trail behind him...

A body was found in the Harbor, stabbed.
Keen eyes might spot a blond man in red, a woman with long red hair, and a woman garbed in black with silver hair dashing across the rooftops in the Harbor in pursuit of another figure, a dark haired person in black. There are rumors there was a shadowy explosion in an alleyway in the city, and numerous bats were seen by onlookers who would peer through their windows.
Another body was found later in the East Gate district, and the same figures involved in the acrobatic rooftop pursuit were seen speaking with guards about the matter. Captain Beluarion was said to be planning to summon them to discuss the matter further.

A woman in deep blue coat with raven hair is spied with a tall Half-Orc in fine garbs, carrying a travel lantern; she posts the following notice outside of the Elfsong Tavern, Near the Docks, and the Helm and Cloak Inn
THE MAGIC DECK OF MANY TRICKS
*A sketch of The Imp and The Lord of Gold playing cards from the deck of Ric Yhondbe are rendered under the title of the notice*
Greetings and salutations! If you, anyone you know, has knowledge or possession of cards such as those rendered above, I implore you to contact my person at Candlekeep. I, Maurmeril Jvianin, Seeker, am leading a research project with the intent to record and preserve the knowledge of these cards and their use. With this in mind, I encourage any and all that have information to visit Candlekeep and exchange knowledge for knowledge – for donations of tomes containing knowledge – including allowing my person to copy said tome – and for donations of unique, individual cards – or allotting me time to sketch and study them – I will share what knowledge my research has provided thus far.
Please make note to exercise caution! These cards are known to disappear from perceived use, plays, and other actions with them. I recommend that you – or those you know – wrap the cards individually in cloth and refrain from handling them as playing cards. Tomes should be kept from the elements as much as possible, and preserved in their original state. I hope these words help preserve your find!
Fair Winds and Following Skies,
Maurmeril Jvianin

Some of the citizenry and nobility of Baldur's Gate, as well as a contingent of Flaming Fist Champions, assembled in the Palace for a ceremony. It was said that an Oath of Fealty was sworn by the Knight Aaron Lyonaler. Though the knight kept his remarks brief, an uproar of applause and cheers might have been heard nearby in the Palace District. A general mingling was held afterwards for those in attendance, before many dispersed about their daily business.

A dark elf is pulled from the Fist HQ to the gallows, after being turned in by adventurer alive the day prior. Her condition is miserable, and her eyes seem to have the acceptance of what is to come as she doesn't resist in the slightest. Covered in wounds and escorted to the gallows, she soon finds a rope about her neck.
She doesn't get offered any final words, due to her race. The whole world seems to blink out to her as she looks at anyone assembled with pity- shortly after the gallow drops and she swings from a noose. Due to her physique, her neck doesn't snap and she slowly chokes to death from it, yet she finds her end with tears going down the side of her face until she ceases moving. Afterwards, her body is taken to the Graveyard and buried.

On the evening of Hammer 28, Lord Eldarian Al'maire, leader of the Radiant Heart, and a man wearing a gray hood, known to some as Lelande Lloros, were seen blinking in and out of sight around the walls of the Radiant Heart compound. On one occasion, Lord Al'maire was heard to be calling out, "Don't kill him," before the two of them vanished again.
It is anyone's guess as to what the two of them were up to.

Wanted posters are being put up around the city for the capture of one Ruathen by the name of Baggi Uffison. Rumour ehas it this man was captured shortly upon his arrival to the city, after having ignored regulation regarding the brandishing of weaponry, but that he later found his way outside his cell and out of the jail, fleeing the city in all haste. He was afterwards recognised in an area known to be host to outlaws.
Later in the evening a man fitting the description of Baggi could be seen on the outskirts of the city territory, drinking and telling wild tales to all who would listen about his escape. Strangely he also insisted he had been wisked away to some far away mountains through strange and mystical means, where he had fought a host of giant warriors and bedded at least three frost giant princesses. To all who doubted his increasingly incoherent ramblings he showed two large gems, a diamond and a fire opal, which he allegedly had taken as a prize from a giant's hoard.

The Shelf of Many Books would have a new tome amongst their shelves, one recommended for those learning to read, or for those helping others to enter the world of the printed word. "The Bestiary Primer for New Readers",written by Rania Arowaven and Adallan Ragnon, is a fully illustrated creature based guide to the common alphabet and includes information on the creatures listed within the cover, as well as also aids in learning of some of the more common threats adventurers face around the area.

A young man has been visiting the local taverns. He has a unique deck of cards with him, which he calls an "Imp" deck. He tells a story about how he and two women called Amber challenged some planar 'Kings' to a game. That those magical cards were first found scattered in the upperdark. These are just copies of those magical cards, though to those who ask he shows his Imp card from that fabled set. He then takes time to teach others the game and buy drinks. After a few rounds he begins offering bets.
