A pale tiefling turns up at the church. His appearance is vaguely corpse-like, though more than a cursory glance would indicate that he is definitely not undead. Clad in the colors of Tyr he is, and armed with a greatsword sheathed diagonally across his back and the accoutrements of a bounty hunter: manacles and traps affixed to his belt, and a chain slung diagonally across his lean torso. He is accompanied by a blonde-haired aasimar dressed to the nines and sporting high-heeled boots.

In the wake of the recent attack upon the city, several burn victims--civilians rescued from buildings engulfed in flames--were brought to the temple for healing and aid. After the curious onlookers departed, tiefling and aasimar would go about assisting with ansillary tasks such as bringing water and food to the patients, as well as delivering medical supplies to orderlies and healers.

A fiery-haired Ilmateri works with the others to help treat burns, calm victims, and organize a system of movement so the injured can be treated as swiftly as possible. Despite the tense situation the woman never loses her gentle smile; doing her best to raise the morale of those who needed Ilmateri aid. She makes sure to find time to thank both the Bounty Hunter and the well-dressed Aasimar for their aid in the matter.

Nathan wanders in the day after the fire to check on the wounded he assisted in bringing in. He speaks quietly for a bit after helping out for a time with a Templar, heard to be called Sal, and passes him a note to be given to his wife, a priestess called Ibbigale.

A cart of fresh fish and potatoes is additionally delivered to the temple upon his departure, with instructions that it be used to feed the sick, the orphans, and anyone else who the Temple offers aid to.

The fiery-haired Ilmateri assures Nathan that should Sir Gaven pay a visit, he will receive a fish.

A blonde man is admitted to the infirmary. Upon arrival he is stiff as a board and unmoving and unresponsive to all stimuli save for his pupils responding to light.

After being tended to by a priestess, he appears able to move but is weak, exhausted, and complaining of numbness and cold of the entire body.

It seems he will likely remain there for a few days to recover from whatever affliction.

A small bouquet of magenta snapdragon flowers are left at the bedside while the blond man sleeps.

The snapdragons are placed in a vase and set upon a small crate, as a makeshift endtable.

Over the course of the day numerous other gifts join them, left by visiting friends. A dozen roses, a gold coin, a box of lemon cupcakes, a stack of the trashiest romance tales, and a bizarre looking octopus-like creature, kept in a fishbowl. Visitors included a variety of walks of life - a dashing scoundrel, a scaled Elven woman with crimson hair, a silvery haired man with antlers, a cheery girl in a vibrant green dress, a silver haired Aasimar in a blue gown, a fiery haired tiefling woman, a crimson-cowled Agent, a grey cowled Iluskan mage, a scarlet-scarfed Tymoran tiefling, a Tormtar knight and his entourage of mercenary escorts, a mohawked man with glasses and a loud voice, a silver-haired woman in dark leathers, a red-tabarded soldier, a nonsensically dressed Man with wild red hair, a gray robed Ilmateri monk, and as always, a beautiful blue-haired elf who remained through the night and into morning, tending to him and helping tend to other patients to ensure a quiet environment for rest.

The patient seems in relatively high spirits given his grim condition but at some point during the day he is said to have broken down into tears while speaking with a priestess, presumably as the weight of recent days overwhelms him and shoves aside his cheery demeanor.

Further visitors would note a look of embarrassment and shame upon his face, at still being unable to care for himself and needing help.

For some reason, a lantern was lit and tucked into the darkest parts of the room, bathing the infirmary in a warm light and warding off shadows. Perhaps it is meant to bring about an air of comfort.

The monk Mi-Le, not an unknown presence in the temple of Ilmater, approaches the brothers and sisters of the church. He asks to speak to those in charge of the orphanage...

Jay Lewis was recently admitted following a violent incident in the arena. Several witnesses to the fight swear they saw Jay die, frothing at the mount just prior to his collapse that resulted from the blow that nearly spelled his doom. Jalib determined it was a heart attack, induced by magic, perhaps. Several witnesses saw Jalib and Concordia Rivers bring him to the Ilmaterite temple, unconscious, face bloodied, and frothing like a rabid animal. When he eventually came to, he flew into a vicious rage that sent blood, froth, and spit all over his saviors, and the curtained infirmary stall. Limbs flailed about. Obscenities were roared. He was confused, dazed, suddenly shirtless, in pain, cranked up on adrenaline, and probably scared (though he'll never admit to that last part). Jalib barely managed to pin Jay's arms down him as he quickly tired himself out, and was then strapped to the bed, where he continued to struggle against his restraints while Jalib and Concordia continued their thankless work on the very difficult patient.

Sometime later, after Jay returned to some semblance of sentience, Jalib came back with Isabella to visit. Jay grumbled something about wanting to leave before the priestess makes her rounds and orders him to bed rest, got up, but quickly sat back down on the bed and said he'll sneak out tomorrow. Isabella strongly urged him to speak with Mi-Le about the episode he was lucky to survive at all.

Jay slept through the night, snoring like a grizzly bear.

When Jay would wake up, He might notice someone having placed a stick and eyepatch next to his bed.

* a largely oversized half orc enters the temple of illmater dressed in tribal armor, with a long flowing cloak tailored with the symbol of illmater. He speaks with one of the older priests that have worked the temple for many years, and the man smiles and welcoming him home.

Priest: It is good to see you have returned home Buurk.
Buurk Gerz: meb'z happy be home, and gooz to see fimilur face.

* the conversation continues lightly and some paperwork is exchanged. After making a donation to the temple, Buurk says a prayer to illmater before heading out. After his departure the priest posts one of the papers on the temple message board and it reads.

*Dressed in hides and skins, a rather tribal looking Buurk sits inside the Temple of ilmater reading a green book and writing down sentences on a small piece of parchment. Anyone inspecting closer would see him grabbing his head every so often and sighing as he appears to be trying to improve his grammar. He takes breaks to help move food stores when they arrive and dispense food to the hungry and poor, but then goes straight back to his studies.

*atop his table lay some medical supplies with a sign that states free potions to those in need*

A fiery-haired woman in a white and red dress wearing a symbol of Ilmater as a clasp on her cloak asks if she can join him. If he accepts, she'll offer to talk with the orc to help him practice his speech. She introduces herself as Victoria, commenting that they had met once before, but that it has been a long while. She'll also apologize as she doesn't recognize the names on the list he posted.

Dressed in fullplate and blue silks a halfling with blonde hair and sapphire eyes covered in triad symbols arrives at the temple seeking Sister Juna. Squire Thamora had been a consistent guest since her arrival in the city and joining of the Radiant Heart. She waits patently in the small chapel in silent prayer until Sister Juna is free from her duties to speak.
