A letter is carried by swift messenger wearing the standard of a heart in a circular field toward the Helm and Cloak inn, originating from the Radiant Heart's Chapterhouse. A parchment scroll tied off with gilded ribbon might be glimpsed in the courier's grasp, sealed in gold wax and stamped with the seal of Lord Eldarian Al'maire. It is delivered courteously to the innkeep with a crisp half-bow, its intended audience relayed in murmured tones before it is seen onwards upstairs.

[Rumors]

A formal letter was addressed to "Ms. Rosette" and delivered to the Blade and Stars by a heavily armoured man wearing the filigree of a Watchknight of Helm. He insisted on remaining in the Inn until he had a manner of response from the woman to return to the Watchknights of Helm in Nashkel, and retired thereafter in the room he had rented for the purpose.

An Illuskan man spent his evening carrying crates out of the Halls of Inner Light, all of the containers delivered to the harbor's murky depths with calm throws. He was last seen walking to the end of a long dock before disappearing within a bright cyan flash.

The tech-smith tinkerer known as Juniper Bottlesocket, and who since a few moons has been renting a workspot at the shipyard not far from the Twilight Rose, hasn’t opened her tiny business for days in a row now.

Last time she was there, she was seen reading some letter over and over again, lightly shaking her head before standing staring out over the water that lead to the great ocean.

Most of her self-constructed tools were gone, aside from a small port crane of which the hookless rope gently swayed with the wind in the evening sun.

A Priest was robbed of his helm near the Lord's Alliance building. Adventurers and curious passerby stood about discussing what may have occurred, but a few intrepid adventurers began investigating in greater detail...

Rumors run quicker then a sending through the streets of the Baldur's Gate Docks district, a Priest robbed of his helm and many thought the Thieves Guild was to blame. A few adventurers looked for clues and asked questions of the guards and potential witnesses, but there was one who took up the search under cover of shadow.

Entering the Fields of the dead like one of the ghosts who frequent the aptly named field, the man followed the clues he found to a crypt. Utilizing a minor illusion to hide his presence he raced through the tunnels, it becoming apparent there was another ahead of him in the chase. He came upon her moments after she had executed sentence on the robbers. Deciding to make his presence known he assisted her in destroying the multitudes of Shades and evil Priests and questioned her. Quite inquisitive herself, he gave little and less information, but learned that she had already acquired the helm and some book she had mentioned. After a time she agreed to drop a copy of the book off to a location of his choosing and he gave one. The woman then made a hasty exit by teleportation, leaving the man alone with the corpses. He set about his grisly work...

Two mornings after the robbery occurred, as the city begins to waken, a pile of four heads, tarred for preservation are found outside the Lord's Alliance building grounds. Each head has a word scrawled by a sharp instrument. The head's read "SCAB", "SQUATTER", "OUTSIDER", AND "TRESPASS".

*Wai Li on her last travel to Baldur’s Gate would notice one of the flyers and smile at the name of an old acquiantinance. She would then go to the White Mask Theater and leave a standard Everwatch event security agreement offer for the occasion of the play addressed to the Lady for when the Lady would eventually have it performed along with a missive.*

The Quiet Guide of the Halls of Inner Light, Dove Starglow, is seen wandering around the gardens and the farmlands much of late. After her kidnapping, she seems tired. Her new wounds remain unclosed though bandaged. Those hearing her speak with friends and others would frequently hear her mentioning that she missed being in the fastness' of her goddess's faithful and their decided lack of paperwork.

At the same time, there seem to be instances of one or two of the guards of the Halls ending up wandering around in different parts of the city looking for the woman. It seems the Quiet Guide has become prone to trying to evade her new guard detail and is becoming increasingly frustrated with the demands on her time.

A man walked near the stone pulpit and rubbed at the back of his neck seeing many others make use of it from time to time. His gaze drifted around the city as he decided against ascending the steps and decided to remain on level with the people. The man could be seen wearing a cloak depicting the Radiant Heart Symbol, he was tall with hair as black as a raven and a neatly kept beard to match. His gray storm eyes observed those passing as he seemed to go over what he wished to do. His right armored hand rested on the Lion head pommel of his sword as he thumbed at the obsidian object held within it's maw. The man raised his voice enough to gather some attention

"Good people of Baldur's Gate I give greetings to you this day!"

A lopsided smiled was given as his gaze settled on those who may look towards him or pass by. He brought his fist to his heart, his forearm crossing over the chestplate hidden by his tunic as the man gave a proper bow.

"I am Gaven Arkalis Grand Knight of the Order of Radiant Heart Auxiliary and we are all aware of the various threats that have unnerved us. Dragonspear, the Trolls, and most recently Orcs...these vile beings make attempts at our loved ones and the innocents upon the roads."

The man brought his armored hands behind his back a hand holding the opposite wrist as he spoke to the general area.

"I wish you to know that the Radiant Heart are here to assist the Dukes of Baldur's Gate in keeping your family, yourselves, and your homes safe. Just as I had stood side by side with various members of the Fist and others who have come to call the Gate their home when facing down the Troll threat. The Radiant will be here with you. You are not alone I can assure you.

And I understand your Fear but take great Strength in knowing that the Triad, The Merciful Ilmater, The Just Tyr, and the Loyal Fury Torm watch over you in these dire times that surround our Home.

In my determination to remain true to this Promise that I give before you and the Triad themselves. The Radiant Heart beseeches any of you who wish to assist us in this endeavor to join with us. Rise with us and let us make certain no Evil will touch this City again.

With that he removes a hammer, nail and a piece of parchment from a pouch as he made his way past any onlookers and placed the parchment on the bulletin board.

The funeral for Oth held at The Minstrel's Muse drew a variety of mourners, most of whom gave heartfelt, moving tributes for the dearly departed elf.

A thin wizard in extravagant blood red robes departed the Thayan Enclave today, under armed escort of an equally foreign knight impressively armored in full platemail. The pair would have been seen continuing briskly south on foot across the Chionthar bridge, as if urged by the spirit of a great endeavor.
