White Mask Theater Open Stage Night!

The White Mask Theater hosted an Open Stage Night on the 11th Elesias under the stars at the Arena just outside of Baldur's Gate. The theme for the eve was Adventure with the Theater's Assistant Director Telia Navra as the hostess. Telia Navra began by reciting a poem called Imagination which described adventure in one's mind. Orok Facebreaker, a half-orc, was soon to follow with a enlightening tale of Gruumsh. Yoruichii Lalani, soon Dreskia, came forth and shared a heartening tale of how Lexa Dreskia and she had to give up their love for a greater cause than themselves and that they had managed to find it back. A Lathanderite by the name of Magnus proved to the audience that they do not only know arts that praise Lathander and shared a poem of grasping the moment. Geoff Meyer, a member of the Theater's troupe, followed up with a cardtrick which required a helper from the audience. Unfortunately the helper had hid the card, nontheless, the audience were sitting on the edge of their seats eager to see this kind of 'magic'. Next on the stage was Natalya who told a rhyming tale from days past called The Hair. Azrael told an intriguing tale about an old fool and a young girl. Good hearted dragons seemed popular tonight as Amara Calder followed it up with a tale titled the Gnome and the Dragon. Miss Amara explained a mixup had happened in the Shelf of Many Books and that she had lost her book Treatise on Wild Magic but gained the story, although a good one, she would like her book back. Last to enter the stage for the eve was Nerys, skald of the Greyfox Tribe with a song titled Life Searcher.

Nerys of the Greyfox won her way to the audience hearts and was awarded a prize sum. The White Mask Theater will be looking at hosting their next Open Stage Night in two tendays.

Some days after the Open Stage Night at the White Mask Theater, news spread through Baldur's Gate of the performers of the eve.

On the 28th of Nightal, an Open Stage Night was held in the White Mask Theater. The hostess for the evening was Nëa and the theme was Hot & Cold. The Assistant Director Telia Navra brought some warmth to start the eve with a song titled Things We Lost In The Fire. Kahanak followed with a short poem made for the eve, titled Hot & Cold. Hannah was next with a bawdy song called The Blind Motsy's Lover. Nëa then graced the stage with a lute singing "a funny love song with fire in it". The love song was followed by an emotional poem from Lydia Starkweather. The next performance was a small play by Viktor about a beautiful fairy and an ugly troll, both parts played by Viktor. Amywien entered the stage to recite a poem titled Granny.

The audience voted Viktor's wonderful play as the winner of the evening, recieving a prize sum from the Theater. The next Open Stage Night will be on the 11th of Hammer.

News spread in Baldur's Gate of the White Mask Theater's recent Open Stage Night. The Dukes were rumored to have attended.

An Open Stage Night was held in the White Mask Theater on the 11th of Hammer. The hostess for the evening was the Assistant Director Telia Navra who had chosen Faith as the theme. She offered a few words on how everyone are affected by faith and how differently faith can be viewed.

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.

Faith is a knowledge within the heart, beyond the reach of proof.


Duke Eltan, Duke Entar and Duke Belt graced the Theater with their presence along with the Countess Aloise von Stieglietz from Waterdeep.

The Theater's Director, Herran Hymn, was the first who braved the stage with a song in memory of his old mistress titled Lliiras Writ. Valkrun Anatox then entertained the audience with a few words about the gods. One of the fair folk, Gondael Sha'Beri, shared a song about the misunderstood elven deity Hanali Celani. His performance ended in a brilliant show of light. Next on the stage was the Dawnpriest Thomas Marlowe with a story happening in a monastery of the Order of the Sun Soul and a poem dedicated to the Morninglord. Jack Artreri then stole the stage with a song titled The Rose-Coloured Knight. Jack Artreri is an old member of the Theater and this was his first official performance since his return. After the stage was returned, Thedran also known as The Rock, spoke of his faith in Baldur's Gate, her people and her future. Thedran then played a song in dedication to the city. Nerys, skald of the Greyfox tribe and a member of the Theater troupe, was the last performer of the evening with a song titled Twilight, which was about the feywild, her spirit guide and the Wind Walker.

After a very close tie with Nerys and Jack Artreri, the fair Gondael Sha'Beri won the most of the audience's votes. Gonadel Sha'Beri received a prize reward from the Theater and the Countess Aloise von Stieglietz made sure to reward her favourite as well.

The Theater is planning to hold a Midwinter celeberation in Baldur's Gate in the coming tendays. Anyone with any interest in peddling wares or anything else related should contact Assistant Director Telia Navra.

Soon after the Open Stage Night, news spread in Baldur's Gate of the performers and the events of the eve.

In preparation for the coming Midwinter Celebration, the White Mask Theater held an Open Stage Night on the 1st of Alturiak with the theme of Winter. Assistant Director Telia Navra was hostess for the eve. Za'than Za'amal was first on the stage with some poetic Ice Breaker words. A new addition to the Theater, Fae also known as the Songstress followed up with a song and lute about Bitter Sweet Winter Air with an unexpected ending. Felian Feyborn, the artist and Soundcerer of the Theater, was next on stage with an untitled song about winter and love accompanied by the guitar. Nerys, who is a member of the Theater and a Skald of the Greyfox Tribe, followed up with a song titled Song of the Snow.

Captain Mealir Ostirel sang a lively song on a mandolin titled the Storm Song and encouraged the audience to sing along. Next to grace the stage was Sylvia Galavoir with a song called Alturiak Air. The Theater's Director, Herran Hymn, then took the stage with a song devoted to his love Mila. Sadly Mila could not be present and Telia Navra was asked to stand in her place, clueless of the number of the performance - much to the enjoyment of the audience. After Herran Hymn's bold moves, Cheryl Mae Castillo recited a poem written by an unknown poet from Crimmor. A halfling poet, who called herself the Wandering Hin, was last to grace the stage and recited a poem titled The Colds Promise to the Sun.

The audience votes were very divided this eve and it was close between several of the performances but in the end, Herran Hymn's dedication to Mila won. In his happiness of winning, Herran Hymn swept the Assistant Director off her feet and gave her another kiss. An embarrassed Telia Navra reminded the audience that the Theater would put on a show next tenday, a Midwinter Celebration at the Arena just outside Baldur's Gate.

The White Mask Theater announced its next Open Stage Night to be in Ulgoth's Beard to bring joy and a smile to the people of the fishing village just outside Baldur's Gate after the horrendous drow raid took place. Many have lost a loved one and are in the process of rebuilding their homes, and their lives.

How to get to Ulgoth's Beard:
Take a ship from Baldur's Gate Harbor, Roaringshore or any other place where ship travel is possible. Cost should be about 50 gold. Alternatively, walk there from the Northern Farmlands, on the trail along the Chiontar River.

The Theater troupe can be seen carrying around props and setting up a make-shift stage in Ulgoth's Beard and it is said the show is about to start at any moment.

News spread in broad sheets of the Open Stage Night held in Ulgoth's Beard,

On the 16th of Ches, the White Mask Theater held an Open Stage Night in Ulgoth's Beard to bring joy and entertainment for the population there. The theme for the eve was Changing Waves and the stage was set on the beach with a beautiful view out at the sea. Director Herran Hymn welcomed the audience and said a few heart warming words. Assistant Director Telia Navra lead the rest of the eve.

The first to enter the make-shift stage was Nerys, a well known member of the Theater troupe, with a song titled Roaming Good. Nerys was followed by Alaan who dedicated a poem called Fairytale to his deceased father. A druidess by the name of Leyla sang and played the drum to a song titled Freedom, ending it with a show of druidic magic. Ayla Elidote followed up with two philosophical tales; The Colibri and Stone, Pebbles & Sand. The stories are featured in her works of writing and are available at any library or book store.

Sehlanna Avenlath shared a short poem called The Best, about magic and Karsus' Folly. Elaria chose to recite her poem standing in the waters, with the message of "Do not take my wine". Rilae'ai'an was next with a song dedicated to the moon, ending it by calling up on the magic of the moon itself which formed into a beautiful blade. Herran Hymn and Telia Navra then sang a duet titled My Favourite Things. Nerys performed a song, on the request of Ameris Santrager who had dedicated a song to his homeland Tethyr. Varra Pegason, a Dawnbringer, followed with a song about enduring. The Theater's own Felian Feyborn was last with a song about a moment in time.

The audience was divided with their voting but after a tally, Felian Feyborn was announced the winner and awarded a prize sum.
