Laisren, having not seen Vanya for a fourt night, is asking others as to her possible whereabouts. He fears the trouble that elf might get into on her own. He soon begins tracking the smell of rat carcases still fresh along the tradeway.

Vanya can sometimes be seen living in a tent in doron amar that laya pointed her to. Said Tent is now decorated with various oddities such as colored mushrooms strung up on sinew, and a circle of polished river rocks surround her tent. Also pinned to the tent are many bird feathers and the occasional bird wing. Along the left side of the tent fastened by fishing hooks is a collection of hats ( 3 at the present time ). A hand made cage outside the tent door would contain two mice.

A Wood Elf, of average height approaches the village. He sways gently with the steady wind that is gathering around the outskirts. He looks around and notices the lack of humans
"This will do..." He says to himself. He adjusts his armor plating to increase comfort, and walks over to the other elves gathered around. "I am Baelvan. I am of Cormanthyr. I am displaced because of the wars in the east. I seek acceptance by my kin, as well as the isolation from the human kind. I wish to be forward and gracious toward my brethren, ask and you shall be given an answer. "

Amongst the day’s catch

Sitting at the bar the two salty dogs Ron and Jeremy, professional fishermen, converse over a tankard or ten…

“What’s that ye have there, Ron? Sumpt’n you pulled up?”

“Aye, that it is.” Ron responded as the pipe smoke escaped his lips. “Some fancy broche er somet’n. The net caught it dis morn’in. Got’s some gibberish carved in it too.”

“That’s not gibberish, it’s elfin. Give me it!” Taking the broche Jeremy examines it.

“What’s say? It worth anything?”

“Keep yer pants on Ron. There still be a mess of muck to be cleaned off.” Cleaning off the broche Jeremy sticks his finger, “Ouch!”

“Aye what you do that fir?”

“Wasn’t try’n!” said smacking Ron on the head. “Aye would you look at that?” Motioning to his finger, “Acid! It be weak but there none the less.”

Spilling ale on Jeremy as he tries to get a closer view of his buddy’s festering finger, “How out know fer sure?”

Perturbed at Ron, Jeremy sticks his buddy with the pin, “Like this!”

“Ouch!”rubbing his arm “You didn’t need to do that!”

“Then stop ask’n stupid questions and spill’n yer ale on me leg!”

Sullen Ron asks “So what it say then?”

“some’tin ‘Selkerdrim’, err Rich Captain”

“Aye, there not be too many Rich Elvin Captains on the seas”, looking around he whispers “unless it be a Pirate.”

“No not that kind of Captain!” Looking more closely at the broche, “Grand Captain. Like a leader in the Fists.”

“Oh” said before sitting back to enjoy his ale and pipe. “Think it work much?”

“Best be keep’n dis to yerself. See if anyone be miss’n first before pawn’n it off fer a few coins. Don’t be needed any one ask’n ye questions after last week.”

“Aye good point, good point.”

A new face appears in Doran Amar. Elvawen is young (around 170 years) moon elf lady.

Brought by Mendel, a master of tracking an deception, she seems to come from a long and tiresome journey.

There is something odd about her. She looks quite unattractive for an elven woman. Her eyes seem to be full of misery and anger, while her mouth apparently never smiles. She wears a common human padded leather armour, even the longbow on her back is not elven. There is also no open sign of the god Elvawen may worship. The observer may see a small chain tied around her neck, however. The pendant, if there is any, is hidden beneath her clothing, though. Outside Doron Amar you will rarely see her. She seems to be quite stealthy.

Her appearance is thin and sickly, but her movements show a great deal of body control. She mostly sits somewhere in Doron Amar and watches the waterfall or sometimes the other elves. She avoids conversations, but if someone approaches her, she is polite and shy. If asked for her heritage, she will say that she would prefer not to tell.

Elvawen does not sleep in Doron Amar, but apparently somewhere close in the woods. Sometimes she is away for days, then she suddenly appears out of nowhere with an empty quiver.

"Gelden! Gelden, return to me at once!"

A spotted yellow cat bounds from the underbrush, leaps a gently flowing stream and disappears into the grass on the other side. Moments later, a figure dressed in a simple grey tunic and leggings crashes through the same unerbrush and nearly plunges headlong into the stream. Only his nimble feet saved him. Looking around with a puzzled and mildly irritated expression, he mutters to himself, "Where is that wretched beast...."

Seconds become minutes and after a thorough examination of the stream and surrounding forest, there is no sign of the cat. The figure, marked as a sun elf by its golden hair, sighs and begins chanting. Arcane energy swirls then coalesces before the elf, assuming the form of a large wolf. The elf bends down and whispers in the beast's ear. A careful listener would perhaps have been surprised by the unusual inflections and accent which which the sun elf spoke to the wolf, but there were no such listeners about, save the mischevious Gendal, who watched the whole scene from his hiding spot in the tall grass opposite his master.

The wolf lolled his tongue and bolted at the small cat, who turned and fled, quite familiar with this game. He was ready. He feinted left then cut hard right. To his surprise the wolf easily matched his maneuver and closed quickly with his longer stride. Gendal was impressed by this summons... his master was growing more powerful, he thought. A quick duck under some fallen branches, a leap over a rock and a quick scramble up a bank, then cut back and Gendal was free of the beast. He looked back over his shoulder to observe the confused wolf which was turning in circles where Gendal had cut back then felt a familiar sensation... the tingling hold of arcane magic... he grew tired... so tired...

Ahhhh.... Gendal... there you are. The brown skinned sun elf chuckled as the cat slumped to the ground and began sleepin soundly beneath the weight of his enchantment.

"Wretched beast..." Despite the harsh words, there was a deeply affectionate undertone to the elf's voice and the tenderness with which he lifted his familiar was unmistakable. The elf tucked the cat gently beneath his cloak, where it seemed to vanish, then continued walking forward, continuing his quest for acceptance into Doron Amar. Perhaps here, I will find what I am looking for, Varlok Banlin muttered to himself as he disappeared again into the woods, hidden under the protection of wards and illusions.

Orcs seem to be roaming very, very close within Doron Amar's woods. Strangely, they do not seem to be laying siege to the elven settlement. Instead, likely due to the disappearing boar and deer population in the region, it seems they have been allowed to hunt this far south of the river. The mountain orc settlement nearby would appear to be more tense these days.

Upon arriving to Doron Amar, Eldan Talelenat was met by, a simple elf by the name of “Isenfool” (aka Isenduil Amolen); it was not the reception he had expected. Traveling to the Inn with “his man Isenfool” guiding him through the little village he noted the dwarven influence on the architecture; simple but sturdy. Not sure what aid these people could provide in apprehending the murderer, but the seers of the High Forest insured him Doron would lead to the answers he sought.

His journey was wearing to his feet. Only after arranging the furniture to their proper placements did he take to bed.

A female wood elf could be spotted on the outskirts of the settlement, as she was shown to Doron Amar by a wood elf clad in heavy black plate, with spiked shoulder guards ((Tomanlor)).
She seemed to like the place, but was rather distant to whatever rangers or citizens she encountered. Eventually, she disappeared... tiger paw marks in her leave.

An elven ranger nods calmly to the guards at Doron bridge. Behind him there is a young woman in robes, following quietly. She seems quite shaken as she shuffles over the bridge, only nodding slightly in passing to the ranger guards.

"I've been here many a time."

She softly replies to the elf leading her. He grins for a moment, nodding somewhat while they walk up the trail. When they reach the inn, he opens the door for her. She seems to have lost sense of reality while standing near the door like a statue. Moments pass.. Before she looks up to the ranger, and apologizes, shuffling herself inside the inn.

"Up here,"

The ranger says, a look of concern spreading across his face. The woman seems uneasy, but nods appreciatively to the elf, quitly following him along. Those close to her would see she has been crying, seeming to try and be strong as she passes through the inn.

"Right here."

The ranger is courtious and caring, but seems to stay strong for her, while he opens the door to the room they are about to enter. Upon entering, the woman breaks down, she sits near the wall closest to the bed, and reaches for the hand of the woman that seems to be asleep.

"Sis."

"You..y-you have to wake up."

The woman murmers softly to the one she is holding her hand of. Her attempts of getting through are not working. After being there for nearly a day, an elven Priestess of the Elven community, asks what is going on. A few that are there answer her questions, while the woman sits quietly comforting what appears to be her sister..

The young woman remains..

So does the other..

The young woman spends the night in the inn, quietly comforting what is now clear to be her twin sister. After the room was cleared of those promising to help, she slowly gets up. Altough she seems shaken, there is also determination in her eyes.

"Sis.. I.. I hope you can hear me. I.. I'll try and find out what.. How.. "

She tends to making sure her sister is tucked in, comfortable on the bed. Before she does so, she searches her sister for something and frowns when she finds it. In her hand she holds an Amulet, she stares at it for a while, a frown on her face. She carefully wraps a piece of cloth around it then, and tucks it away in her robe.

"I won't let.. I'll.. keep it safe.. for.. Untill you wake.. I mean.. I'll keep it safe.."

She strokes her sister through her hair while tears run down her cheek, then quietly leaves the room. When she reaches the bridge leading out to the forest, Sywyn is there. He inquires as to what is wrong, the young woman telling him in a trembling voice.

"We have the best healers" He says, trying to reassure her.

"I'll.. I'll be back.." She says, after having told him.

She leaves the elven village for a a few hours, to return later, holding flowers in her hand. She quietly passes Sywyn and another elf, who seem to be busy talking. When she returns to the room her sister is in, she takes a nearby vase and fills it with water. Carefully, she places the flowers in to the vase, while she looks sadly at her sister.

"I brought these for you.."

She runs her hand through the flower petals as a heavy sigh escapes her. Quietly she brings out a small flask, and poors some water in to her sisters mouth, slowly, trying not to spill.

"I.. I'll.. they say they'll help you.. I.. I'll try and find out.. I.. I'm so sorry I wasn't there.."

She sits on the bed, softly crying for a while. After some time has passed, she quietly leaves the room again, glancing back at her sister before closing the door.

// This taking place before the appearance of Mealir//

As the woman closes the door to her sister, she turns to see an elf dressed in black silk and cloth standing before her, a leather strap holding a quiver of arrows upon his back. He pulls back the dark hood, revealing himself to be the same elf whom traveled the deep Sword Teeth with her, in search of the "Fear".

He stands there looking balefully at the young woman. "Where is the amulet Druidess?, he asks. "Did I not tell you, not but harm would come from your possessing such an item of pure malevolence", he growls in a hushed tone. "Now, here your Sister lies and your Master turned from his path in a way we do no yet fully understand", he scolds the woman.

"Yes, I have just come from a meeting with your one time brother and when confronted by the likes of Herran, he turned away his own staff with disdain", he informs the woman. "He had much to say in respects to your actions as well, but only time will tell the truth of this", he says raising his chin.

"Now, after the scorn you offered my judgment in keeping that amulet, you come here to my home and possibly endanger the innocent people here?", he states as much as asks. "I no longer have rank with Doron, but I will not see innocent elves harmed because of your foolishness", he states while sliding his hood back over his face and moving back out towards the door of the main hall......
