Im RP friendly, I play 4 years RP on Lord of the rings online RP server Laurelin.
But my rp is a bit odd, mostly playing silent non friendly characters like rouges etc. Which dont like so much contact, and everything trying keep for themselves.

But will be my pleasure to play with you.

Hello. I have been playing D&D and other tabletop games for a while now. i have always wanted to RP in online games, but i never found a game/server I was really happy with.

I only just read about persistent worlds a few weeks ago. I and new to Neverwinter nights and i having to relearn 3.5 edition. i am really exited to get into the server and build my character, whoever he may end up being

a little bit of background. I have been D&D for since I was seven. I got the DMG, PHB and monster manual for my birthday. I have been hooked ever since.

I hope to RP with some cool people. see you out there.

I, erm, I'm kind of nervous. Promised myself I'll never get back to NWN servers, to RP stuff... Believe a lot of people could understand why if I would tell story of dungeons and drag-, wait, keep on track.

I've decided to give another try. Well, it's been 10 years of RP gaming, damn sure it's a lot of tears, pain and hella good memories (along with bad ones but better not talk about it...).

I've been convinced to play. Again with few months of thinking if I should, but...

I'd stumbled upon NWN2 and this server in particular a good few months ago, though until now, I hadn't given neither BGTSCC or NWN2 a proper try. I've some experience in NWN/FR, but as far as the second game goes, I'm entirely out of my element!

It likely doesn't come off as a surprise that I'm finding it difficult to progress past level one, nor that I'm akin to a headless chicken in-game - utterly clueless and lost. As such, should anyone have tips for a newcomer, whether they pertain to locations of RP hubs or methods of safe levelling/levelling in general (my character is a level one rogue, so soloing isn't exactly viable right now!), I'll gladly receive such either via PM or here, or better yet, if anyone is interested in starting up a group of lowbies, even if it's just a pair of us, I'd not be at all opposed to the idea. Keep in mind, though, that I'm an EU player!

Level 1 rogue? Holy hell are you going to have a rough time ! But if thats what you want to do, I would recommend checking your widget/Player status locator, find other people with only a + next to their name, pm them, explain you are new and see if they want to group up?

Can also pop down to the friendly arms and get a bunch of wards from the higher level rpers who are stood there, some of them last hours, such as making your weapon +5 etc, always helpful.

Otherwise try and see on the forum if any new adventure parties are starting and just go around and rp for a bit. Also there are quests within baldurs gate for you to do, can easily get 2500 xp from it, even more if you have a high level helping you, try again the friendly arms, pay some gold for a "mercenary" to help you, and bam, orc commander head is yours, 600 xp easily + whatever you make from the dungeon.
