The gold and black armored woman would be seen entering Soubar. After a heated discussion with the Ebon Blades a fight would break out. Many may have seen her in action before, yet this time despite surviving the initial onslaught she would break her protections to attempt to loose her full fury upon the Baron, however a small figure is seen striking her with technical blows. The woman is seen falling to the ground, and being drug off by the Ebon Blades, it is quickly apparent her temper got in the way of better judgement as she is captured.
Much of the land near their fight is scorched, bloody, or frozen. The battle would of been a sight for any witnesses.

Ebon Blade Daily - Recruitment Runs
Having returned from their first run, the Riders took few days to rest their steeds and tend to them. In that time some preparations were made.

This eve, shortly after sunset, the Horsemen could have been seen riding out again. Orders take them far and wide along the Coast. In each of the designated stops, they make sure to nail and secure posters to the local notice boards, inside taverns, and on the road signs.

Image

The Riders tell anyone who asks that The Ebon Blade Mercenary Company is recruiting again.

A great battle took place a fort night ago in the town of Soubar. A cowled Elven Wizard, a silver mask upon his face, dressed in ornate full plated mithral armor, fell into combat with a pair of Dark Elves. The cowled wizard had confronted one hooded female, whose dusky skin shown through her scantily glad leathers as she went to do business with the merchants in the town of Soubar. A fight ensued and patrons of the town Soubar bore witness to a second dark elf female, disguised as citizen of the town, join in the fight. The cowled wizard, casting a spell of Etheralness, caused the Drow to begin throwing acid bombs which lit upon the very merchants they were previously doing business.

The wizard then called forth a giant hand to begin crushing the first assailant. After further spells of protection, he pulled forth a silver sword from his jeweled scabbard and shield. He layed low the first assailant as they attempted to escape. The second drow female escaped under the cover of darkness, but only after that drow had called forth a shadowy replicant of the cowled wizard to attack.

Finally, dispensing of the shadowy replicant, the cowled wizard turned to find the body of the first Drow gone. After conversing with a human, weapon drawn and offering aid, the cowled wizard hastily left the town in the direction of the City of Baldur's Gate.

A gold and black armored woman watches the fight in Soubar from a distance. A slow smile creases her ebony lips, as she starts towards the fight, yet one of her soldiers stops her using reason to talk her down. With a final gaze at the wizard, she crackles and makes note of his appearance, and waves off the two drow females who were forced to retreat. Her only comment on it was "Amateurs, must I do everything as she returned to her business, marking that elf for a target on a later, less busy day.

Micar'mizzrym casually belayed the attacking wizard via mimicry of his spells upon him, holding him firmly in place upon two occasions while issuing images to easily confuse his attention, and correct identification, withdrawing her felled contact from the fight when the opportunity gave rise.

Ebon Blade Daily - Militia Training

Well before the sunrise, in the early, foggy hours of the dawn, movement stirs at Bladehold. Baron Nightgale accompanied by three mercs can be seen carrying barrels of equipment into to the courtyard.

"They will be arriving soon,"
Greil says to his men. "Bring out the practice dummies and prepare the field."

The mercenary leader draws a random weapon testing its weight and balance before moving to the next. He continues this practice with each piece of armament while separating them by type.
Upon the arrival of the Militiamen, the Baron looks to the group and orders them to take up a weapon of their liking. A brief, chaotic period ensues while various individuals rummage through the selection of blades, bows, and spears. When the division between melee and range fighters is evident, Greil commands the men to form up. A double line formations are assumed swiftly.

"Now that you have all chosen a weapon, I want one hundred swings," Nightgale instructs those who have chosen blades or spears.
"As for you lot," he turns to the group holding bows and crossbows. "You will be firing into these dummies until you manage thirty bull's eye," the Baron points to the targets' weak points such as heart and head.
"Begin!" Greil's voice carries over the courtyard with ease.

The three mercs and their leader can be seen walking among the training Militiamen, watching the progress of the exercises and offering advice when needed.

It seems that in the view of recent altercations with drow and orcs in Soubar, the Militia training has been resumed.

Over the past four days, keen-eyed travellers might spot a half-orc barbarian near the road just North of Soubar.
The brute was comfortably seated on a hill beneath the barren branches of a large elm tree, simply watching the road and the passing traffic.

When he wasn't at his usual post, he might be found within the battered walls of the trade village, speaking with other orcbloods, as well as Bart the wagonman.
Other times, he isn't seen at all, save by perhaps a hunter out in the wilds around Soubar.

Image
What exactly his purpose is in the area remains unclear; What is clear is that sightings of orcbloods in and around Soubar have been more frequent of late...

// If anyone would like to look into this ICly or trail Grishnak, feel free to send me a PM and we can meet up IG or RP via forum.

After many approaches and failures to reach an agreement, the dwarf ambassador of Kraak Helzak, the Voice of the Mountain, Hurgon Wyrmstone, makes another attempt to speak to Bart the Caravan Master....

Image

The dwarven ambassador employs an attempt at diplomacy, so that he may gain, this: to see Bart and his trade wagons make a route from Soubar to the Holy Anvil, Kraak Helzak, and back.

Hurgon offers a keg of dwarven ale, to the driver, whenever he delivers kin to the Holy Anvil.

Around noon a girly figure clad with full red and silver armor and with red hood comes into Soubar and puts up flyers around the gate and on the notice board. Then heads back towards Baldur's Gate.

A band of adventurers out of Soubar saw Reineke Villame headed south out of Soubar, heavily warded. In their own explorations of the area a few hours later, they came upon his corpse in a cave, torn to pieces. They collected what they could, and sought out someone who could raise the corpse in this state.

Upon his resurrection, Reineke paid them handsomely. They could not tell him what happened to him, but a tracker mentioned that there were signs of battle, possibly with a wolf-like creature, and a dragon.

Contrary to recent rumors, a drow by the name Jys'Ssysynstra has been seen running scared for its dear life, being hunted by two elves and a half. Whichever god the drow believes, would certainly not be pleased.

A questing knight in dusty gold armour wearing a weathered lion pelt for a cloak and carrying a seven-foot zweihander has been encountered by hunters from Soubar. He wears no coat of arms of any recognised Order and has been ranging alone in the wilderness and mountainous terrain of the wild northlands. The man does not visit Soubar for supplies or shelter - he must be sleeping under the stars and hunting his own game as he travels the land.
