As winter bears down on the Sword Coast (and elsewhere) the faithful of the Icedawn waste no time culling fire breathers and desecrating their sanctums while disseminating the Frost Maiden’s gospel (and Frosted Cream - now in Cherry flavor!) to any and all willing to lend them their attention.

Two Aurilites met in the shrine, to discuss important temple affairs. After long conversation, priestess Ontelima brought Solaris outside to fulfill a penance. Solaris hardly endured frosty air, but manged to survive the punishment.

Winter may have come to past to usher in the arrival of Spring but faithful of the Icedawn would embark on an odyssey to ensure their Lady and Savior is not to be forgotten. Their journey would begin in Baldur’s Gate where they would erect a shrine to her Lady and Savior the Ice Maiden strategically amidst a celebration honoring Spring. The faithful would find their dogma challenged by a servant of the Fire Lord and a heated verbal exchange ensued between the rival faiths.
The second leg of their odyssey would leave them to the Friendly Arm Inn as the faithful of Auril would erect a shrine in the shadow of the Inn, along the Trade Way, for all passersby to marvel upon and offer prayers of mercy should they be so inclined. The guards gazing upon the faithful from their post atop the Friendly Arm Inn could only roll their eyes and sigh heavily.
When their odyssey reached Beregost one of the faithful selected a symbolic site to erect a shrine to the Frostmaiden, particularly in front of William’s Well, the establishment owned by an alleged Demon-licker and kicker of adorable kittens.
The final destination of their pilgrimage would bring them to Gullykin where the adherents of the Icedawn would erect a shrine on the outskirts of the Halfling township on the edge of the cliff overlooking the temple of the detested Fire Lord. Echoes of castigation directed at the Fire Lord could be heard as it reverberated in the canyon below.

Icedawn's priestesses met at night to prepare ritual. Blue light filled the chamber, while the faithful whispered prays to their godess. Hands of each one embraced frosty aura, emanating from the altar. Gathered people still enduring conjured cold, focused to hear out Auril's will. Finally, the light faded away and everyone returned to their affairs.

A silver haired woman is seen affixing the following parchments to various bulletin boards and trees along the Tradeway from Souber to as far south as Crimmor.

((Aurilite players, I just wanted to say thanks for your RP on the Nashkel plot. Your initiative has triggered a lot of very great RP for and against the Auril temple’s efforts and I really appreciate you all. Excited to see how this plays out to the end IC! Have a great week, friends!))

It seems you either missed or ignored our previous offer which was worded as follows:
The Icedawn House in our magnanimity offers the town of Nashkel the following amended terms:
• The erection of a respectable shrine to the Ice Maiden within Nashkel protected from vandalism and desecration
• Monthly tribute of 1000 gold
If these terms are satisfied then Nashkel will be granted the same mercy others towns that have paid tribute and erected shrines now enjoy. These are our final terms. If the Helmites and their blood craven allies continue to pursue war over these reasonable terms then so be it.
But it seems you've instead elected to inflict the same terror upon the villages Cloud Peaks you accuse us of inflicting. Congratulations for being the marauding barbarians you deplore. We also noticed you made allegiance with the faithful of the Fire Lord, it'll be glorious when their cult eventually backstabs you!
Temple of Auril
DM Mimic/Ink Update: The Summoned Qorrashi that attempted to deliver these letters was slain upon being spotted by Nashkel's guards. Whatever message it may have carried was not delivered to the city.
Up in the snow-covered expanse of the Cloudpeaks, a burly water genasi woman, mighty northern warrior fighting for the Frostmaiden's cause, patrols the wilderness in search of enemies of the faith trespassing on Auril's grim and frostbitten kingdom. At the ready, an exquisite battle axe with dark enchantments and oils borne of black magic, confering the weapon traits as deadly and pernicious as the woman's divine mistress. It is said that she is consumed by a primal rage in battle, akin to Winter's fury itself.

Taka can be seen over the past few days dragging the bodies of many different creatures towards the frozen landscape. Hiding the smaller ones inside while the larger ones he hides outside. Each time the feral halfling deposits a corpse onto the piles he says a small prayer causing the bodies to freeze over to help them from decaying. Some of the trip's taka can be seen with others some who wear a mask to hide who they really are while others openly share in the bloodshed and help drag the bodies back to the temple.
Taka, stands in the dead of night, beneath the radiant glow of the moon at its highest point. The chilling air surrounds him as he prepares for an important battle. In reverence to Auril, the goddess of winter, he seeks her blessings and guidance in this ritual.
Taka finds a serene location, near a secluded waterfall. He stands at the water’s edge, feeling the icy breeze against his skin. The sound of rushing water fills the night as he begins his ritual.
First, He enters a state of deep meditation, clearing his mind and focusing his energy. He connects with the natural world around him, feeling the presence of Auril in the winter landscape. He acknowledges the power and beauty of the his queen, respecting the balance between life and death that she represents.
After he begins the ritual, he utters prayers and invocations, speaking words of reverence and seeking Auril’s favor. He chants ancient incantations specific to his druidic tradition and reciting personalized verses that express his dedication to the goddess.
In the climax of the ritual, Taka immerses himself in the freezing water, allowing it to rush over his body. The biting cold shocks his senses, awakening a primal connection to nature. As he embraces the frigid water, he visualizes the strength and resilience of ice and snow, drawing inspiration from their unwavering endurance.
While submerged, Taka envision himself embodying the characteristics of winter: unwavering resolve, adaptability, and the power to preserve life in harsh conditions. He seeks guidance from Auril to channel her powers during the forthcoming battle, enhancing his abilities as a druid.
After emerging from the water, Taka takes a moment to offer gratitude to Auril for her presence and blessings. He feels a renewed sense of purpose and the resolve to face the challenges ahead. With his connection to the goddess strengthened, he is ready to take on the battle, embodying the essence of winter’s might.
Taka can be seen and heard by those around the temple yelling and growling in anger as he tries to use his more advanced magic. The feral halfling can be seen running into a tree countless times getting angrier as it goes. After yelling at the tree to open up and let him through he can be seen biting it before walking off to the freezing water of the alter to pray again.
