I basically just wanted to stay out of wangxiuming's way and see what he'd come up with, since I trusted that it would be awesome no matter what. While pleasantly pondering what he'd come up with, I thought maybe he would go with the Hanged Man or the Hermit (themes of letting go, introspection, etc.)

See, wangxiuming is spot-on. In my head canon, Mi-Le is not enlightened (I don't even want to try RPing that ). But he definitely has a much higher Wisdom score than I do, so it's still pretty challenging for me to RP him. I often struggle to figure out what Mi-Le would say or do. So wangxiuming picking a card with themes of "completion and integration" makes me feel like maybe I've RPd Mi-Le okay after all.

Hey, I'm not dead! Here's Eldarian as the Sun Arcana:


It's been a while since I've drawn anything (almost six months?) and I wanted to pick my tarot card series back up again. I told miasmata's player that I'd do one for him a while back and I finally cobbled together some semblance of creativity to do this.

Being a Lathanderite, Eldarian makes a perfect candidate to represent the Sun. The Sun Arcana encapsulates positivity, vitality, and warmth, among other things. In my character's experience, these are qualities that this champion of Lathander definitely exemplifies.

A few elements I pulled from the Rider Waite set of cards:
- The four sunflowers are represented in the armor designs emblazoned into his armor.
- The red banner representing the blood of renewal is represented here as Eldarian's cloak (which is usually golden).
- I tried to evoke the feeling of light at dawn, given dawn's importance to Lathander's church. Since I couldn't have the sun hanging high in the air when it's supposed to be around dawn, I incorporated the sun symbology through the architecture of the window.
