The Heartwarder pays a visit to the Temple of Chauntea and delivers a letter to the Head Harvestmistress.
Head Harvestmistress,
I am asking for your assistance in aquiring seeds for a spring planting a vast expansion to the farmlands of Baulder's Gate, along with providing a few priests to aid in the education of new farmers to teach them how to tend their lands, care for their animals, rotate their fields each year, and prosper well to aid the city in continuing to sustain itself now, and into the future.
I ask for your aid and blessings with this, on the behalf of myself, and the Council of Four, to make a more prosperous and independant city.
thank you for any aid or advice you can provide.
High Lady, Alyssia Leonhart, of the Halls of Inner Light

There are always times of change, strife, and troubles throughout recorded history, but there are far more events that are unrecorded, never to grace the page of any tome, manuscript, parchment, or even a hastily scribbled prayer in blood on the walls in a dank den of monsters. Perhaps such an event occurred yet again at this momment in the middle of the night. On the winds comes a cry of a mad wailing, a broken heart given into despair. Words are uttered but drowned out by the winding echoes across the distance, but a few might be perceived by the attentive.
"Damn you! Helm! Why do you ignore me?!"
The wailing continues for several minutes, but no other words are strong enough to fight against the harsh winds. It is not long before all falls into a disturbing, unnerving silence punctuated by the cold howl of the uncaring west wind.

Priest of Chauntea, Kervel Greencrest, appears in the Temple of Chauntea in Greenest after taking a Rocky Ceek Caravan from Baldur's Gate. He stays only a short time to deliver a letter sealed with a wax seal of Blooming Rose over Grain to High Harvestmistress Helena. He then heads back to The Gate with another caravan.

Southside Trouble
The
Myradon Vindicators, a newly formed group of mostly mercenaries, and allies set out on a mission to find a missing caravan that disappeared south of Greenest. Their journey, however, was not without its challenges as they were ambushed by bandit archers and warlocks. And later on an army of warlocks and undead orcs, which they were able to defeat. And so they continued south, in time they discovered a burning village that was surrounded by even more bandits and warlocks.
A fierce battle ensued between them, resulting in the bandits defeat. Unfortunately, the group was too late to prevent an evil ritual from succeeding, unleashing a large army of undead upon them. And so they had found themselves fighting a relentless army of undead, led by a black-clad cleric. The group barely survived the onslaught of ghosts before they were finally able to banish them by the skin of their teeth.
Despite their victory, no survivors were in sight and the group had to face even more challenges as they attempted to rescue the last of the villagers trapped in a house. Mithralclad and Na'Karia were able to save a child and his grandpa, from another house, a Half-Drow survivor was shot by someone accompanying the party. He was treated for his injuries before walking away angry.
The mission may have been successful in a sense, but the aftermath left many questions unanswered. But at least some lives were saved and brought safely back to Greenest.

A wanted book thief Bethany Binder was recently tracked to one of the many caves scattered along the wagon trails east of Greenest and brought to justice. A number of books were recovered there and elsewhere in a cave in the Uldoon and returned to the owner. A single rare book was held as part of the reward for the bounty hunters. Some other books were not recovered and lost to time.
A few few days pass following the recent bounty-hunting before a missive is posted for public review, echoing a similar notice published many months ago:
To those whom it may be of interest:
The Breadflower Bakery is still seeking a series of recipes, purportedly authored by one 'Hill Ramsi'. It is our sincere hope that one or more of the esteemed works may have been brought to light following news of recent heroics conducted in the Greenest vicinity. The proprietor of the Breadflower Bakery would appreciate an opportunity to hear the tale firsthand from any participants, over a complementary meal at any establishment to which the Breadflower Bakery has favorable relations.
Any information that leads to the identification of the manuscripts would be appreciated and duly compensated, with additional value bestowed to original documents. Should any such recipe be be delivered to the establishment, the Breadflower Bakery shall make all available effort to host a stall for a minimum of one full week at the location and menu-theme of the delivering party's choice; or upon the Tradeway outside Baldur's Gate if there is no other preference. Alternate negotiations are available at seller's request.
In Addition, let it be known that the Breadflower Bakery is currently seeking the services of Hunters and Herbalists in supplying fresh ingredients. Fair market price will be provided for serviceable cuts and foraging, with a premium being compensated for the following varieties:
- Wyvern Eggs (Fresh preferred, chilled also accepted)
- Onyx Orchid (per leaf)

A sum of 150 crowns per sample will be paid upon delivery, or fair market value as negotiated by supplier.

Rumors spread out from Greenest as a masked Teifling is seen posting up announcements:
The Myradon Vindicators are recruiting
A singular task and purpose: Minimize Suffering. The Myradon Vindicators seek to end it through the eradication of those who bring it and that which causes it. Be they bandit lords, monsters, famines, poverty, discrimination and horrid mismanagement of the folk.
As such Myradon seeks to establish their own little place in the world out in the lawless frontier. A home, a place of belonging. Where children don't starve, folk aren't persecuted for simply being what they are all while some men grow rich and fat beyond belief. A land that doesn't destroy everything it touches in the name of progress. A land without callous disregard towards all but itself. A coexistence of people, civilization, and nature; Myradon.
The Myradon Vindicators welcome any and all who share in their beliefs and ideals. And none who is fine with seeing or causing such.
For those who seek to join our cause, look for the masked Teifling and Vice Archon Na'Karia for further information.
//Can get a hold of me on Discord at RavenCredale#5207 or send me a Tell in game. Also we are looking for more US players to join to balance out EU players. Hope to see you all in the future :3

There has recently been an unusual climbe in the amount of dead Flind across the local. As if someone was deliberately hunting them.
It would be easy to see that whomever is deliberately trying to terrorize them as several heads were found placed on sticks next to the bodies of the larger corpses.

A Local Night
“There is no such joy in the tavern,
as upon the road thereto.”
I wonder if anyone has ever heard the tale of the Wine of love. One sip of this wine and you will go mad with drunkenness. You will drop your masks and tear your clothes destroying everything that separates you from the Lover. Once you taste the fruit of this vine, you will be kicked out of the city of yourself. You will forget the world. You will forget yourself. I tell you, you will become a madman who wanders the streets looking for the Lover once you drink this Wine of Love. But stories or merely stories. True or not, its not something I care to find out. I simply enjoy a good drink and it surely wouldnt be wine that touches my lips.

The Lucky Coin was busy with patrons this night. For whatever reasons each of these people had for stopping by was to each their own reasons. However the food here is always delicious and never disappointing, the atmosphere comforting much like the Williams Well a tavern down in Beregost. Every tavern has their own themes, and atmosphere fitting to a particular set of patrons.

Somewhat more regular sight lately in Temple of Chauntea in Greenest, Kervel is seen entering the chapel beyond the inner gardens. There he meets with High Harvestmistress. The two converse in the chapel over steaming mugs of tea for some hours. Aroma of Chamomil fills the air and sounds of joyous conversation. When the tea and talk was done, they both returned to their duties of faith. Kervel is seen departuring from the village with a smile on his face

A mask tiefling with the Myradon Vindicators badge is seen roaming around the Greenfield's dispatching the Flind and other creatures with ease before returning to the Village of Greenest and resting in the Inn. She is seen there often from time to time, going from the inn to thinning the numbers of dangers in the Greenfield's then back to the village. Though for extended periods she is seen venturing into the Reaching woods...perhaps going up north for a time?

In the Greenest Inn, the Masked tiefling Na'Karia, Vice Archon of the Myradon Vindicators, is seen more often now. Why she is lingering around the inn and hamlet now is currently unknown. But from time to time she leaves the inn and make a patrol of the area. Clearing the Flinds away from the hamlet and making sure the road is still safe for travelers. Though it seems that despite this, she is lonely on these patrols of hers.

A towering mithral figure no doubt known to locals as Yuri Lichelina and friends bearing the blazon of the
Myradon Vindicators is often seen patrolling the
Uldoon Trail and the Firewine Bridge. Offering aid to any who are lost or ambushed, but mostly doing his best to keep the roads safe. Spreading word of his group and their recruitment. Oddly enough should anyone be nearby they'd hear the towering figure humming a song to himself during his march. Even more bizarrely he was shockingly good at it.
"From the depths of Greenfields, we raise our voice,
The Myradon Vindicators, we made our choice,
To stand against the tyrants, to stand against the lies,
We'll end the suffering under these endless skies.
March on, march on, oh Vindicators brave,
With hearts of lions, it's Myradon we'll save,
We march for justice, we march for peace,
With every step we take, the suffering shall decrease.
No child shall starve, no man in chains,
In our fair Myradon, where justice reigns,
We offer home and hearth, to those oppressed,
For in our hands, the downtrodden find rest.
March on, march on, with a purpose, oh so clear,
Bring hope to the helpless, bring the desolate cheer,
We march for the broken, we march for the weak,
With every voice in chorus, it’s justice that we speak.
We are the beacon in the darkest night,
The Vindicators marching, holding high the light,
Where monsters lurk, where bandits hide,
We march on undaunted, with righteousness as our guide.
March on, march on, for it's a new dawn we seek,
In fields and in forests, on mountain peak,
We march for the silenced, we march for the free,
From the depths of the Greenfields, a better world we'll see.
So listen, ye mighty, listen, ye small,
We are the Myradon Vindicators, answering the call,
We march on together, and let it be known,
In the heart of the Greenfields, a new seed is sown."

*A man with long straight light colored hair well past his shoulders, wearing heavy armor had whispered and gossiped to caravan drivers and local soldiers in Greenest about sightings of Devils approaching from the East.*
"Yes yes I tell you, I seen it! I seen it! wit me own eyes! Coming from the direction of the Greenfields! My bones tell me their heading to Amn! Been knowin some strange things between here and Neshkal. Agents killin people and bounties being put out. Seems they looking for a weapon or the likes. Been awhile but last I heard the bounty was up 100 bags maybe even more! Something stirin' I tell you, and likely it wont be nice. Maybe with the war coming they think its a good opportunity to find what their looking for."
*The man never left a name, nor any means to get ahold of. In fact, if anyone had ever attempted to ask about him, only his description would be given along with the statement, he has never been seen again.*
*People could only wonder if the tale was a warning or a tall tale*
