Over the course of the next week or so, anyone entering the old ruins of the Black Abby below Soubar would find a man in rags with various cleaning instruments such as a broom or mop. Lurking behind his every step stands an ornately crafted and decorated suit of magical armor wielding a flaming greatsword which quickly cuts down any ratmen or fanatics that would dare threaten the rag-wearing man. Those that know him may take a few moments to recognize the Banite Priest whom is usually covered in ornately decorated armor or fine silk clothes. Should anyone approach him they would be greeted with a polite smile, and should they ask what he is doing they would get a response of: "Even the greatest of priests and clergymen are nothing but servants."

Along the trade way surrounding Soubar travellers have sighted a caravan consisting of dwarven kind, there wagons and wares eaten away by flames. Bodies heavily desecrated, terrible procedures had been exercised on them, skinning amongst the less terrible of things. Many of them nailed to trees and rocks, body parts littered around as grotesque mockery of their former owners.
Littered around the site some armor parts might have been found, most of them in red, they once wore a small pointy dagger on them as a symbol of a certain dwarven god called Abbathor, however the fire, dirt and blood would make it nigh impossible to acknowledge.
All victims have but one thing in common, a lady with beautiful red locks is drawn onto them, on little unharmed spaces found randomly on their otherwise broken and tortured figures, painted in great love for detail, the pictures in a weird way, artistic, elegant yet oh so gruesome, all in their very own blood.
Those knowledgeable enough would recognise it as the symbol of the gorgeous goddess Sune.

Several lone dwarven travellers as well, nailed to trees and rocks, body parts littered around as grotesque mockery of their former owners.

In light of the recent attacks on the caravans and the unruly sight of there demise "
The Northern Trade Way Militia" has increased its patrols Throughout the Areas Surrounding Soubar. All those transporting goods along the Trade way are advised to seek armed escort.
Rumors have it that the culprit when caught would receive the
"Bitter end" of the executioners Axe.

An intoxicated dwarf, often seen in Soubar or the surrounding wilderness can lately be found in a cold, seething anger. The source is not hard to determine given the recent atrocities performed upon his kin. While he still appears regularly intoxicated, his normally sour mood has turned downright surly and find him snapping at any who approach. He is fit company for no one.

The citizens of Soubar, some friends, travellers and others were indeed seen to be wrapped up warm for winter. One light hearted observer was heard to remark "I am not sure if this is Soubar's Great leap forward or not but I will tell you this boy, I have seen blankets on werewolves, blankets dropped down the well for a cleaner, I have seen an Imp by the bridge wrapped in a blanket, they even say Mags has used one on her roof. They even sent some south to that ruin on the Tradeway where some cultists are setting up a trade camp, sheltering and feeding folks, probably fattening them up."
In the aftermath of this distribution there was a more general sentiment that Soubar was a tough town in tough times, but people were warm and warmed to Derringer Mercantile. Indeed more travellers stopped and stayed longer both in town and at the ruins on the Tradeway. Neither place thought of as good or fine and such, but a shelter in a dark corner of the Coast for certain individuals with limited choices.
No one thought not to give a drunken Dwarf a blanket, and that though was left nearby for fear of his recent rage.

Upon hearing the news of a caravan raid, the dwarves Bhor Stonecutter and Berrik Hardhammer set out to find the caravan and return the remains of the stouts to Kraak Helzak for their proper funeral rites. Not being trackers the two stouts struggled to find the remains, until they happened upon the elf, Ell'adir Kadmon, who brought grim news and carried the remains himself.
Along with Alxian, the three travelled to Kraak Helzak where they were greeted by watchman Brightbeard. Upon questioning the elf it appeared that the attackers may have been the remnants of a cult to Polvich. After a discussion the elders of Kraak Helzak agreed to take the remains and give the stouts the proper rites.

Upon seeing the scene, Bob the Dread Knight held a slight, but respectful, smirk and bowed his head in respect to Barry, before summoning a skeleton for added security and helping the Cleric for a few hours.

Bhor carried with heavy heart the coffin to Kraak Helzak. Berrick Harhammer, Alxian and Ell'adir fought valiantly against the trolls so the funeral progression could reach the settlement.
Watchman Brightbeard with a large escort of guards and commons took the remains so their souls could wander to Moradin.
Bhor asked to make Kraak Helzak his home and both he and Berrick was to await its eldars to approval.

The ashen haired necromancer would be seen around Soubar asking questions on recent event to a man known as Boris. She seems to have a vendetta and the drive to carry it out.

The same mustachioed man that was seen only a few weeks back sporting rags and a mop bucket has rumored to continue his cleaning efforts. Some denizens and adventurers that ventured into the underground of Soubar in search of treasure are even claiming to have been paid by the man for aiding in the cleaning and vermin control of the ruins.
At other times the ornately dressed man wanders the settlement of Soubar, looking over the tent-town with slow and analytical glint in his eyes. Every so often he approaches the various dwellers of Soubar, be it human or illithid, or anything between, attempting to strike up conversation about what gods they pay homage to. When speaking with them, while hard for most to believe, he seems genuinely interested in hearing what they have to say.

A certain platinum blond aasimar in a black silk gown angrily banged on the side door of the Ebon Blade barracks.
"Morgan! We negotiate now!"
Morgan let her in. About half a candlemark later, the massive, muscular half-elf known as Thorn was seen leaving. The blond aasimar has not come out yet, still in the dungeon with Bob Thairo and Saint.

Boris was once again seen in the tent-town of Soubar, a free man once more.
As a result, two of the three Zhentarim captives were released from the Ebon Blade prison last night.
Saint and Sir Bob were provided with horses and supplies for their return to Darkhold.
Marietta Starling remains within, her fate unknown.

Bueroza has published an employment opportunity and word may very well travel as far south as Baldurs Gate; ten bags of gold as payment to hire small party of adventurers (level range 1-5) willing to purge the most recent infestation of vermin and heretics occupying the ruined Temple under Soubar. This service includes the return any mundane religious articles such as books and ceremonial objects to him. He may be found at the Ebon Blade fortress.

Reclining at a corner table in the Elfsong Tavern, the mage Glymuldor Gryxulmyr catches rumor of Bueroza's bounty. Ten thousand gold would go a long ways toward purchasing new scrolls...though surely he must split it with other party members, for he is yet too frail to dare the venture alone.
Glym spreads counter-rumor for other interested adventurers to seek him out at the Elfsong. Together they might make the journey northeast to Soubar and explore the ruined temple. Sipping on elven wine, Glym ponders to which dark god the temple was erected...and to which it fell.
