Jonas reads the letter from Thomas Oak with some difficulty, as his already poor eyesight is not helped by the poor script. The aasimar pens a response, hoping seriously that someone is available for the young man to read it to him.

One such paladin hears the call to arms sent by the famous Sir Jonas. She excitedly gathers her sword and armor and sets out for the Sword Coast. She pats Valiant, her trusted steed on the nose and speaks to him softly...
"Ride like the fiery winds of the hells are at our backs, my friend. This is our chance to serve with Sir Jonas."
She sets out through the night, riding south out of Silverymoon. She would soon be upon the Coast.

To our Allies; The Order Of The Radiant Heart
You man Tomar has overstepped his boundries once again. I Sergeant Rocshanks stood on patrol today by the tradeway maintaining the order of the day. A fair number of the adventuring communty had gathered around my post and communed. One such individual stood with a vile creature but broke no law of the Dukes and remained lawful and civil in my presence. The paladin Tomar approached this man and demanded that the creature be sent back from whence it came and the man refused. Tomar then proceeded in a choatic fashion to break the peace and order by killing the mans pet.
Obiously the man was upset at this and lashed out. I was enforced to break up this fight and put Tomar straight. I do not care for his notion of 'Good' and 'Evil' and only for the order of Law. Which he has broken, he is currently violated the following law:
Disorderly Conduct - Disruption of Official Business
Out of respect for our allegiance I let him go on a warning. If he steps out of line again he will be arrested and charged to the full extent.
Sgt. D. Rocshanks

Then he asks for his son, Thiago II, to deliver it personally to Sgt D. Rocshanks in the Fist quarters.
// PM sent.

A rather distraught Sir Jonas Rokranon walks along the bridge over the River Chionthar, nearly walking into one of the walls of the structure in his preoccupation. He knows something has happened to Alistaria, he can feel that much through their bond. But what?
A very slight elven woman who introduced herself as Echo, along with her cat Eli, query him about how lost he seems, and the conversation ends up leading to her informing him that she had seen his missing wife travel off with a child (whose name she could not remember) who had lost something. Echo provided, seemingly with much help from Eli, a very detailed description of the girl. Jonas gives this description both to members of the Radiant Heart, as well as any Fist officers he meets, asking if they happen to see this girl, to kindly escort her to the nobleman.

A group of rather scorched and exhausted-looking people leave the temple of Tyr, causing more than a few raised eyebrows with their appearance. With both Alistaria and the child, Tina, recovered, Sir Rokranon calls off the search.

The Church of Bhaal has seen your communication and is not impressed. The god of Murder has plans within these woods and will not be swayed by your feeble attempts and outdated moralities. Our power grows daily.
We, born of murder, come soon for your orphaned children so that they may know his embrace.
Sincerely,

Dear Sir Jonas,
I recently received a message from a Bhaalist priest after offering to take up arms against them. This letter confirms the Bhaalist are in cloakwood and have plans. I will destroy there presence, but, I would also like to have the Order at my side
Sincerely,
John Roland

After reading the notes from John Roland, Jonas pens a response and sends it via a courier for the church of Torm to the Friendly Arm Inn. The letter is sealed with the Rokranon phoenix crest.

After hearing of the note left for Merielle on the board next to the Elfsong and Meri's own account of the familiar pipe weed scent, in conjunction with the very public hanging of three Bhaalists, Sir Jonas Rokranon requests increased patrols around the orphanage and Sanctuary of Ilmater by both the Flaming Fist and Order of the Radiant Heart.
The usually kind paladin of Torm seemed rather cold and indifferent to the three men who had been quite vocal about their support of the Lord of Murder.

After spending a few days in Doron Amar with their daughter, Jonas and Alistaria Rokranon are reported to have left the Sword Coast for a few tenday to go on the honeymoon they were never able to have after their wedding. Where exactly they went is not widely known, but Jonas is rumored to have left both his House and the Radiant Heart in good hands.

Sir Jonas Rokranon paces his office in the temple of Torm. He does not seem especially agitated, but does not look well either, having dark circles under his lavender eyes. Heaving a sigh, the tall aasimar finally sits down, takes a quill and ink, and sets to writing on some parchment.

An old man with a rather distinguished beard but balding head walks by the office of Sir Jonas Rokranon, stops, and sticks his head in to speak to the silver-haired aasimar rubbing his eyes.
"Still can't sleep, boy?"
"Ah, hello, Devon. I'm afraid not, no."
"That saintly sister of yers can't give ye anything to make ye sleep?"
Jonas chuckles.
"I've become immune to most of it over the years. If she gives me anything stronger, it would be able to put my warhorse down."
The elderly quartermaster grunts, shaking his head slightly.
"Do you miss her, Devon?"
Devon's eyes snap to Jonas' face, his expression blank for several long moments.
"She was my daughter, lad. Of course I miss her."
Jonas very characteristically rubs his forehead.
"She died saving me. I've always been surprised you look after me like you do."
Again, Devon is quiet for several moments.
"She was a paladin, it was her duty. She saw something in ye worth saving."
Jonas smiles a bit, though he looks haunted with the dark circles under his eyes.
"Thanks, Devon. Good night, old friend."
"Get some sleep, lad. Ye'll be of no use to any of us if ye collapse dead."
As Devon continues on to his quarters, Jonas pulls out a quill and sets to jotting down his thoughts.

As Jonas sits drumming his fingers on his desk, staring at the new portrait of Alistaria commissioned from Chararj, his thoughts follow darker paths as he loses himself in the drawn gaze of the woman he loves. After a time, he turns back to his desk and begins to write.
