Storytellers, musicians, enchanters, dancers, and lorekeepers, bards were prone to wanderlust, traveling from one place to another in search of new lore or perhaps in the hopes of spreading what they already knew. Bards were among the most versatile of adventurers. While not necessarily as tough as a fighter, or as skilled as a rogue, or as intelligent as a wizard, bards were widely capable in a number of different situations and were widely recognized as a sort of "jack-of-all-trades."

Bards donβt believe in goodbyes they know that the roads they walk are winding, and they generally tend to come back to people and places they've known and been before, and often at just the right time. A king is a king, but a bard is the heart and soul of the people, they are their life in song, and the lamp which guides their steps along the paths of destiny. A bard is the essential spirit of any kingdom. They are the linking ring, the golden cord which unites the manifold ages of the Kingdoms, binding all that is past with all that is yet to come.

Patrons of the Broken Goblet would know just how much the bartender cared for the few bards that ever came to preform.
"Thy magic in songs are more then simple arcane magic. It wards the things that cannot be seen or physically touched. They inspire the uninspired, they control the moods just as much as they can empower them. And their songs are like a good drink. It can make yer bloody feel good."
