I'll be away and mostly unavailable from the 25th to the 30th.
Because of some RL complications, my stay in sweden is going to be extended by a few days. Probably back by 2nd of August!

Hello BGTSCC,
I have decided to take an indefinite break from BGTSCC, I wish not to discuss why and the circumstances around it.
I do not know if I will be back, but the Radiant Heart was reformed also to provide a path in a situation like this. The faction now has NPC leaders that will take over in the absence of a player lead.
That said, Athros has taken on a penance and quest that will see him away from the region for a long time.
Goodbye BGTSCC.

Hi everyone.
Due to RL circumstances I will not be able to log in regularly as before. I am still happy to join RP if scheduled in advance so if you need Edelgarde please drop me a PM.
Hopefully this will be temporary and I will resume the usual presence as soon as possible.

With some recent changes in RL. I am going to be taking a break here on the forums. The team should be able to get back to most people. I do intend on popping in here and there, but for the next couple of weeks I am going to be focusing on myself.
See you in a couple weeks!

Hey all, just an update on me/Aaron Lyonaler
I haven't been logged in very much lately in part due to just not feeling generally well, as well as due to a lot of medical appointments. Many know that I experienced Kidney Failure several years ago. As a result I spend every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in Dialysis treatments at 4 hours each treatment. I have been working towards Kidney, as well as Pancreas, Transplant. It has been a long process and there are lots of decisions that had to be made by myself, my family, my doctors, and the surgical team, lots of tests, re-testing, scans, blood draws, consideration for my blood type, and lots more. There has been travel to meet teams of doctors, discussions with coordinators, and many talks with Social Workers.
After a 5 and a half year journey towards this I am now listed on the Transplant list as ACTIVE. So, at this point I am now in a waiting state ready to take the call whenever it comes. Which might be 2 am on a Sunday or 5 pm on a Tuesday. Could be whenever. After the call comes and I accept everything, I then have 8 hours to get out to San Francisco (About a 2 - 2 1/2 drive from my house most days) to get prepped and have the surgery. The recovery time for a double transplant of the Kidney/Pancreas is about 8-10 days if all goes well. After that there are several months of recovery at home, followed by blood draws twice a week for the first several months, then continuous blood draws every week or two for the rest of my life as well as the anti-rejection medications, of which I will have to take for the rest of my life. There is potential for rejection, or issues with surgery, the medication that follow are very expensive and very very critical and also can potentially cause issue (Such as the risk of Skin Cancer), but! If all goes well I will begin to get my life back and will be more healthy then my current situation.
So, that is a little about me and what has been going on. You all have been great and I have been really grateful for the people I have meet in this community. Thank you for those who have reached out to me to inquire about my absence from the server! I hope I can get to playing with you all again soon!

With the recent rise of an emergency, I will be sparse. While I will continue to DM here and there, it would seem my attentions must be dedicated for RL. I thank everyone for their patience.

Temporary Absence – Labradorit
Hello everyone,
Just a quick note to inform you why I’ve been away due to health issues. My arm has gotten worse recently, and I’ve been unable to write. I’m now in the hospital, awaiting surgery next Tuesday.
I’ll keep you updated as much as I can and look forward to being back in-game and on Discord as soon as I’m able to write without pain.
The 'Trahmatizing' will find you soon enough again.
Thank you for your understanding,
Labradorit

While I am mostly back, the real life situation is mostly the same. There have been some things that have come up in life that require me immediate attention. I plan on finishing up what obligations I have set up, while not taking on new requests or plots. I plan on finishing up DMing here on BGTSCC, and enjoying my time here playerside. At this point, I don't think I will fool anybody by saying "I have no plans on returning to DMing". It could happen, but at this point it does not seem likely for a very long time. I have really appreciated all of you as players, the wonderful staff we have here: past and present. I sincerely have enjoyed myself working with all of you.

I hope things get better for you, Ink! I am looking forward to your return in the future and your activity as a player
I myself will mostly be not available between 21st till 30th plus minus a few days. I will take my notebook with me for some planned action (you know who you are!), otherwise I'll be looking into discord.
Now, back to baking christmas cookies!

I'll be gone from the 23rd to the 28th. Then server move, and update.
Tickets/etc will most likely be paused during, since I am the one who does them. Don't blow up your characters.

Aloha

I’m back home. Since Monday, actually, and only now do I have enough energy to scrape together this message. I try to read every missed posting and thread written - but I may follow up very slow.
The next surgery for my arm will probably be in March. Everything else is still up in the air — hopefully.
So, I’ll keep settling in and try to make the best of it.

That’s it from me for now, sending a big hug and warm greetings,
Good to be back
Labradorit
