If pressed for answers the girl would simply open her mouth, revealing a cauterized stump in place of a tongue. She doesn't linger for a tip and instead bolts straight out of the seedy establishment's door after the delivery is made. Vanishing inside the bustling crowd without so much as a trace.

A number of people could be seen carrying a lifeless figure, apparently in agony, from the farmlands into the Temple of Ilmater. A bit later the group was seen leaving, including the figure they carried - with bandaged hands.

*The wanderer known as the Copper Fox can be seen traveling through the outlying areas as well as within the city, speaking to any who will listen. He regales with tales of a great battle joined in the High Moors far to the north. A battle that pitted noble heroes against hordes of foul trolls and devils. He spends a particularly large amount of time with the poor in the city, the urchins especially as well as the farmers in the outlands. All in all the tales vary but end the same way, with a hodgepodge of heroes from all walks of life, coming together to defend the realms from this perilous threat.*

Brualot, merchant of the Golden Wheel, recently arrived in the City accompanying one of their Trade wagons. He swiftly left the trade procession at the city and vanished within. He was later seen in and around the Merchant stalls of the City making extensive visits to there and beyond to the Palace District and City Officials. A few days later he was back with the merchants with still more business to be done.

*The man known as the Copper Fox can be seen frequenting various trade houses, tailors and merchant guilds about the city. He visits the Seven Suns Mercantile, Aiello's and the Sword Coast Commercial Exchange. He also tries to make contact with the Darius Holding Company and the Golden Wheel. He makes no secret of the fact that he is looking to procure a large quantity of winter cloaks, oilcloths, and furs along with shoes and boots of various sizes. He also mentions that while he will pay for new goods, he will accept any donations in good repair of similar articles.*

Re: Rumors & Events of Baldur's Gate
This morning, a muscular woman with gorgeous ginger hair, beautiful tail and looks of a barbarian queen has arrived on a ship to the city of Baldur's Gate. She stopped by the farmlands campfire and then continued her journey to the South. The tiefling declared that she has a very important mission, but she will remain at the Coast for a day longer after she finishes her great quest.

Re: Rumors & Events of Baldur's Gate
A towering man arrived at Baldur's Gate on the 9th of Ches, quite easy to tell apart from the usual citizen with his formidable build, long blonde hair and beard, and an assortment of furs over his robust form with a white wolf pelt most prominent among them.
According to the rumor, the northern man frequents the library - coming out with a fair bit of confusion and annoyance over his face each time - and he could even be seen entering the church of Mystra once - albeit reluctantly and very shortly. He takes shelter for the night outside the city walls, close to the refugees, and proceeds to cook a large bundle of wild game meat which he also devours on the spot each night.
Approaching folk would be greeted with a grunt and thrown some of the meat if asked for.

Re: Rumors & Events of Baldur's Gate

A man is seen outside the Church of Torm singing softly many prayers of Torm, he claims that the signs of Torm have been presented to him and is asking for help to save Baldur's Gate from the evil that threatens the city.
Mighty Torm, My Lord, My Way,
Enlighten me, in times of unavoidable conflicts,
For I’ll need your implacable conviction,
In the outcome I’ll be a part of.
Flood my heart with courage,
For not fearing death makes me stronger.
Shine on my mind so that my act of faith,
Does not end in a unaccomplished Duty.
Guide my hand which I bring your Judgement with,
For the display of Justice brings Hope to the innocent.
Strengthen me whole when I’ll face incarnations of Evil,
For no followers of the True would accept defeat as an accomplishment.
In the face of the impossible,
Be at my side for my love for you,
Would make failure a feeling of unworthiness.
Do not forgive me easily when I’m weak,
Cause each false step takes me farther from the Truth.
Bless me with the essence of Duty,
For your Exemplary Sacrifice in Tantras,
Showed me that you’ll always be there,
To carry the Weight of Duty with me.
As this feat made you stronger,
Show me wisdom to learn from smaller ones.
Mighty Torm, My Lord, My Way,
I humbly aspire, to be as strong as thee.

Re: Rumors & Events of Baldur's Gate
Sometime in the evening, a well-dressed blonde man in red and gold and a wavy-haired brunette elf with golden skin and flowing green robes wandered into a home in the Palace district of the city.
A bit later, very odd noises could be heard in the house.
The pair was later seen emerging, him missing his coat and she her cloak. He wears a puzzled expression, and she wears a neutral one, sometimes broken by an impish grin.
The golden-skinned Elven woman is seen to have a conversation with a cat, who then leaves with a large group of other cats shortly after.
The man looks even more confused after the exchange and then follows her off towards the East Gate district.

An old woman in nightgown and slippers is heard nearby saying something about glimpsing a kobold in a suit with a bowtie but presently no others have confirmed her words.

Re: Rumors & Events of Baldur's Gate
For those who observed the movements of peculiar late night characters in the city; after a few hours loitering at a garden bar of the East Gate district a massive, bald and black bearded gentlemen was seen to enter the Thayan Enclave alone on the late evening of the 12th of Ches. The longswordsman was decked in finery custom tailored to his horrifyingly muscular physique. He moved with the militant stride of a soldier rather than dawdling like the aristocrat he was dressed as.
Some who sat at the garden bar during his stay say they were sure it was Boris Vyacheslav, a former Knight-Commander of the Order of the Crimson Guard rumored to be a traitor to the Thayan race, or even dead.
As the little hours waned on and the East Gate bars and streets emptied of rabble, he was not seen to have left.

Some adventurers are becoming familiar with a Druidess named Iolana, who has began to trade medicines wherever she wanders; remedies to cure poisons, to heal wounds, or to boost strength, constitution and dexterity. It’s also said she can provide adventurers with Stoneroot, and crafts perfected alchemist fire and tanglefoot bags.

Adelaide was seen confronting a sobbing pickpocket with a blond man who witnessed the crime just outside the city gate. The pickpocket ran off into the city itself. A short while later Adelaide seems to have a frustrating conversation with a Flaming Fist Officer. After returning from a journey, she is seen heading to the Flaming Fist Headquarters with a tired expression and scroll in hand.
