When the server lag gets you killed by spooky skeletons :'(

Not sure what is up but the lag is horrendous. Seems like spawns are mass spawning in areas to me. I had to go recharge some wands and the whole area was already spawned with a lot of skeletons. Like double the norm.

Big shout out to the server admins for dealing with this craziness. I'm sure you'll get it all sorted out soon enough.

What exactly just happened? o.o

Server went down with a "Server is shutting down NOW!" warning! Was it an intended restart? Or the attacker got this new "beautiful" ability in his hand now?

Pretty sure it wasnt planned. I'd assume attacked.

Yep went down. I lost a lot of gear in a gear fire I was transferring too. *sighs* I can name them by name right now but no screen shots of them at all.

Lets see. Greater Longstriders. +2 Dodge +3 Con +2 REF SAVES, Shield of Tiamat +3 DEX +2 Shield, Darksteel breastplate of warriors well being 10% Negative immunity +2 Int, Vile Bite Battle Axe +2 EB 1 Vamp Regen, Hammer of HIdden Imaskar +2 Str +2 EB 1 Fire Dmg, Amulet of Natural Armor +3 those items were pretty much priceless to me.

Any help would be appreciated. I probably deserved that though......

If anyone can help you in such matter, that would be Luna with a character roll back, if I'm not wrong.

That is the automated message the server gives us when it knows it is about to crash. It is likely crashing from the ddos so no and maybe to answer your question.

Hey everyone, per NWNList scry the server is up (but only with 7 people on). I have been trying for several minutes (about 5 attempts) and keep getting told after 30-60 seconds that the server timed out. First it says server found, then it hangs for a bit, then it gives the time out message. Anyone else experiencing this? Does this mean even if you do get in the server is suffering lag issues?

A lot of people, myself included, hopped offline because the lag was horrendous. I thought the server would crash any minute.

Not to fret, however, the lovely staff is doing what they can to prevent this.

Yeah, the Server is timing out on me today, and it takes about 5–7 tries to get a connection.

Strange, because the Server has seemed fast and stable for a few days!
