To answer the OP: At this point it would appear that everyone is in this thread.

RP Communities shrinking is sometimes a very good thing. Although that sounds counter-productive, there are great benefits to reap.

Over-all, it creates tighter nit communities, and usually more familiarization with the Dungeon Masters whom create these stories.

It also allows the community as friends, to help create better stories when we know each other's likes and dislikes.

Because of the servers size, I really never got very friendly with anyone, as there were always sooo many character's I was meeting at any given moment- Which is great!

Remember, sometimes a smaller community, is a stronger community.

Well Im going to offer some suggestions of my own opinion to improvements instead of discussing negative points of view:

(For DMs)
1. I would suggest having "Al" DMs work on a huge plot which would have actual IG change to an area of notice. To have several smal Events by DMs connecting to a big one which will have dire consequenses. The event would be outlined so it can be easy to pick up on and it would surely create some interest in feeling something grand is in the doing. If you DMs do not have time Hire some temporal event masters to get things going. Its timedemanding, hard and crazily difficult to pull off but it would sure as hell make people turn their gaze towards this server and highten the fun of those on it.

Darker's silly dialogue example: :p

Group from Event A meets Group from Event B:

Group1-Event A- Hey did you know that I.....

Group2-Event B- Whuut? Yeah I had something strange like that happen last week...Think its connected?

In its sillyness and roughness having one huge event with lots of smale plots that can be connected may make people feel something is up. I know there are some larger plots but I think you guys should do something earthshattering showing that this server has some power in it yet and make people stop complaining about "It was sooo much better in the old days!" :p

(For DMs)
2. Make a Lolthite city/outpost so we who like the Hardcore stuff doesn't end up in ooc disputes al the time... Believe it or not...Having a Lolthite Drow House in Sshamath...even if its possible isn't easy. We have countless history of disputes to prove that. And even if the players are mature well... If you don't tweak your char not to be a total devout of Lolth and crush the oposition well...Boop...

There are alot of players that love having a Lolthite society out there...If you ever read El.Salvatores War of The Spider Queen..and you fell in love with the drow well...It would be nice to be able to rp it al out! A smal city or outpost where players would be able to rise. Lolth tlu malla!

(For Guild Leaders)
3. As for player Guild leaders: Befriending your enemy Guilds leader ooc planning out common events against eachother is a great way to go. We did it at TFR. Worked splendid and no ooc issues most of the times. Its not about winning guys its about having a good time rping...Just blasting and standing over in victory isn't satisfactory...atleast not in the long run without reason.

Just some suggestions... :p

There's project "A land far away: alfa" with 6 people online (peak) for that. As hardcore as it gets, IIRC, because they punish you for pursuing xp/wealth "at expense of roleplay".
That was a crude BS* comment and d*mn rude. perspective assassination and putting down someone's prespective is just a way of trying to boost your opinion, which personally I think is asinine.

Don't you have anything better to do than digging up threads from one year ago?

Yeah, I think this can be closed if this is the tone we're going to be using.
