Selande wrote:The shopkeeper would quietly attend her tome as her guest visits. She might eventually look away from her work as she seeks what next to write, and may in this process notice the dwarf. A brief appraising glance over his equipment and demeanor would be all the hooded woman would express before returning to her work. So long as he doesn't seem aggressive, she'd leave him to his own company.
The woman seems quite comfortable with armed, enchanted strangers sharing close quarters with her.
After a time the dwarf takes note of the wealth of magic items spread around. He glances back and forth between the items and the shopkeeper, lurching up to get a closer look at some of them. A sly cast briefly flashes over his features as he pauses for a moment.
Slowly walking around the patched up ruin, he takes note of both the stonework and the subtle wards with a keen eye. Some muttering and a few grunts later, he takes up a collapsed beam of wood from the ground, tilting it against one of the walls and hammering into place with some nails and a hammer he pulls out of his pack.
Dusting off his hands while observing his handiwork with self-satisfaction, he turns to the shopkeeper and moves over to one particular belt. "Yer wards aught t' be sufficient, but ye don't know stonework like a dwarf. That wall weren't more than a strong wind from collapsin' right on top o' ye."
Glancing down at the note next to the belt, he scoffs. "What's this then? History? Past deeds of past bearers? Dead is dead, and the past ain't half as interestin' as the future. Sell me the belt (//Precursor Belt//) and ye'll 'ave something t' really write about. Fifty five bags o' gold should do it, aye?"
He moves back to his pack and measures out the amount in platinum, and raises an eyebrow to her.

Followed by a contingent of hired mercenaries, Rupert Ruprichs arrives at the hidden "trade station" that he has heard others talk about. Ever the tradesman, he couldn't let this one slide and had decided to visit... in spite of his great fear of the non-living.
"Disgusting things..." he dusts off his clothes, looking like he's been in a hurry. The mercenaries all look like they've been in a fight... the lack of blood on their blades indicating it was probably the various skeletons lurking about.
"Excuse me... I've heard rum-... oh, it's true then." he interrupts himself at the look of all the wares. He looks around and notices the woman in front of him to be the only one there.
"From the looks of the quality of your wares, miss... it seems like you're not likely to accept mere gold for any of them. Luckily, I anticipated that..." he brings forth a strange looking bag. From it he pulls some items that could possibly not fit into it.
"Maybe any of this could interest you in trade for these items over there?" he points at the some items.

A female elf clad in shiny mail with several bows on her back and a gem encrusted elvish blade on her hip walks into the shoppe. Her keen eyes glance about looking at each item while her keen ears listen for something else, something specific. Stopping at a display of clothing she asks in elvish, "I have some items i would like to trade for this. Or if you seek coin, I can provide this to you." Seemingly disinterested in anything else on display, she attempts to gain the attention of the woman there assuming she is the owner.
///dark garb for:
100,000gp
or greater widowmaker bow
Adding after the offer, "I have other things if something else would gain your interest." Once again in elvish tongue.

Having been one of the first to arrive upon the desolate field of ruin and decay, Grum Grognazdiak rises, as though from a long drink-addled sleep, and awkwardly brushes through the broken archway.
"Nuff waitin' round. Be time for business. Two hundred bags for the first to offer a fit of that thar Dark Garb. Another three hundred for them Supple Gloves."
Being a miscreant of few words, the dwarf takes a step back and parks his rear on a broken pedestal, patiently awaiting response.
"Also more than a few trinkets might be ta yer fancy."
Taps overly full pack and feigns a uniquely disturbing grin.

Standing tall over the dwarf with a graceful tone. Lunulata replies in elvish, "100 bags of coin AND the bow for the dark garb. This offer stands above the dwarfs as I do as well."

He resumes his seat, clasping his hands between his knees. He looks about the Shoppe, taking in again the various artefacts on display. He looks back to the cloaked figure. "Do any of those that come here to trade come with interesting stories, lady?"
"They all come with interesting stories. It might even be a requirement to even find this place." She shifts her weight where she sits.
"They don't all share those stories though. I'm patient, however. Everything gets told eventually."
"Share one, then." the figure asks, settling into listen.
"And I will share one of my own."

*A man in dark armor can be seen wondering through the fields of the dead, soon after he spots the light in the building and wonders closer. He approaches with caution, but after reading the sign he drops his guard and heads in. He greets the hooded figure with a slight nod and browses her wares, his eyes settle on two items.* "Would yah be willing to take 200 bags for the fine ring, and marvelous belt?" *he points to each item*

Deep covered in his cloak Tristan slumps up the trail every step seeming slower than the last.
Rain pouring down on his hooded head and his boots are deep covered deep thick in mud.
He eyes a pair of walking bones not far from him and with a troubled effort he throws himself at a nearby slope hiding as they walk past him just up the hill.
After a few moments they appear to be gone and Tristan scouts the road ahead.
His eye is caught by a glimpse of light not far from him near some old ruins.
After a few thoughts he makes his way for them hoping for some shelter and a friendly face.
As he closes in on the ruins he passes a small sign reading "Shoppe of Forgotten Mementos".
With a sigh of relief he looses his grip on his rapier and approaches the ruins a little less uneasy than before.
He quickly spots a cloaked figure with a large tome in her lap.
He clears his throat as he approaches to avoid surprising her.
"Greetings miss in this peculiar place." He looks around eyes the surroundings.
"I came seeking shelter from the weather but seem to have found much more." He starts scouting his eyes around her many items.
"I must say that your collection is quite impressive." His eye quickly catches the two rapiers.
"Now what do we have here." More to himself.
He quickly moves closer to the rapiers and examines them in detail.
He then pulls out a rapier of his own like he's comparing their qualities.
"This... miss." He motions to the rapier "Bolt".
"This is a fine rapier indeed. It seems to be emanating some sort of energy?" With a curious and intrigued look his fingers closes in on the blade but stops suddenly before he touches it.
He looks up at the cloaked figure.
"What is the story behind it if I may ask miss?"

Having become familiar with the presence of this peculiar shop during his routine patrols of the Fields of the Dead, Natham stops by to browse the wares.
The heavily armored Cleric gestures to the quarterstaff, Silver, and looks to the trader.
"How much are you looking for, in terms of gold, for the staff there?"

*Hearing of the peculiar shop and lured by its name, Nixidea travel to the inhospitable place and wander around until she find the rumored merchant.*
Good day, miss. *She say browsing the goods* You have a good belt there, mind if I have a look? *She caress the leather and feels the enchantment on the precursor belt* Very nice, indeed. May I ask what you are interested in? I have heard you are looking divine blades. I do have one, it is not very powerful yet I could show it to you. Also I could spare some coins.
