Rumors circulate that deep within the cloudpeakmountains at night, at certain isolated locations blue glows can be seen within the frosted landscape. A ranger claimed to have come close to one of such spots on an iced wall. When he removed some of the frost, covering the glow he saw a glowing iced symbol, pulsating in a certain rhythm. In the middle it contained a word written in the elven language. He said the word meant 'life', but it could also have been 'cow'. He didn't seem too certain about it.

Rumors seem to persist on these glowing, pulsating symbols scattered around the Cloudpeaks, even if sighted on rare occasion.

A paladin of helm with x brand of exile from Baldur Gate is heard talking around the camp fire about icy arcane ruins each with one elven word in them. This being his second time finding such runes in the mountain pass in cloudpeak. One has the word that roughly translates to find/seek the other the rune have the elven word for twilight in it. As he spoke to other some would say perhaps you should travel the direction of the twilight while others said maybe its referring to the twilight of the mountains or perhaps that you must be there at twilight. One things for sure the more questions he asked the more he had.

As the sun rose in Beregost, a heavily guarded caravan found its way to town just in time for when the Trade Fair was to begin. The wagons were unloaded and a dark altar was set up opposite of the Song of the Morning Temple. A priest of Bane was waving a banner behind it and calling out the words of the Lord of Strife to any who were willing to hear them and plenty too who were not as willing. A few were seen accepting the priest's blessings.
A woman dressed in fine fabrics and a hat with an exotic looking feather was overseeing the merchant stalls, putting up a sign saying "Zhentarim Merchandise".
Dread Lord Eliphas Valkarian of Darkhold was seen mingling in the crowd for a while.
The woman, who is said to be Magus Telia Navra of Darkhold, later took part in the feast set up in the town and offered a joyous song for the occasion.
During the Fair there were some snide comments made to and about the Zhentarim traders but no hostilities.

The Dread Lord and Castellan of Darkhold, Eliphas Valkarian... by some enemies known as "The Deceiver", was present at the Fair in Beregost. He mingled with some of his former brothers and sisters, some more hostile than others, yet no violence was displayed. In particular his conversation with his former Squire and current Knight of The Radiant Heart, Cecilia Lafayette stood out as peculiar to those who knew them before he was exposed as the black heart beating in the Order. The word daughter was used a few times by him.
He was later seen walking into one of the alleys of Beregost, where he disappeared in a bright light and was not seen more that day.

Many might overhear about or attended themselves the Year of the Morning Star Northern Amn Exposition and Faire in Beregost that took place today, hosted by the Church of Lathander, Church of Gond, and the Church of Helm and dedicated to Governess Benino and the fallen of the Amn-Gate War. Some of the highlights of the event are dictated or drawn as picture by those attending and given out as flyers throughout the region as highlighted below.
The Exposition Conclusion Speech of Governess Benino of Beregost and Amn
Good evening, all, and welcome to Beregost. I would like to begin by thanking those who have made this exposition and faire a possibility. The Everwatch Knights of Helm, our neighbors from Nashkel, first. Our local clergy of the Song of the Morning Temple. And the Church of Gond, whose wonderbringers have certainly brought us many wonders this evening. I would also like to thank the faithful of Chauntea, the Sword Coast Commercial Exchange, the newly-formed Inner Circle, and the elves of Doron Amar for attending and helping this event be as successful as it has been. The purpose of this exposition faire is to encourage the development of Beregost, our town, and to generate trade. The reason times have been so hard for so many of us are well-remembered: The war between our great nation of Amn and the city of Baldur's Gate. We at this faire honor those, on both sides, who fought and died in that war. Let no soldier rest unremembered or uncelebrated in their final slumber. It is incumbent upon all of you, each of you, to help mend the old war wounds between the north and the south. And through cooperation, bring into this region a new ... dawn. So it is I thank you again, all of you, for attending. And invite you all to feast with us for what remains of the evening.

The Exposition Conclusion Speech of Head Watchknight Wai Li of the Everwatch Knights of Helm in Amn
We wish to echo the remarks of the honorable Governess.
And add one more item of importance. Today truly is a new dawn for peace and Beregost.
Not long ago, corpses lay strewn upon the streets of this great town.
Children cowered at the sounds of swords and the screams of bloodlust
Honorable soldiers and warriors of both sides marched to their doom.
Today, however, is a new day. A new dawn for this town and the region.
And by attending you have ushered it forward. Helm bless you and protect you in doing so. Long live Beregost!

The Exposition Conclusion Speech of Dawnknight Eldarian Al'maire of the Church of Lathander
Let me just add that this town, despite its troubles, has continued to bounce back. And will continue to do so into the foreseeable future. Those of you who help us find strength? Thank you. Those of you who merely watch? Continue to stand, impressed.
Eat and enjoy yourselves, and should any of you ever find yourselves in need of help, he motions to the massive temple in the center of town, We, the faithful of the Morninglord, stand forever ready to aid you. Thank you, that is all.

Song of Morning temple very busy before fair, setting up tents showing holy things and making cakes and sweets.
Templars walked streets to keep all safe and stop fighting, standing near claw people stall and making sure claw people not be nasty. Claw people are just talking though, speaking claw people words about being afraid of claw god.
Was many beautiful things at fair but Song of Morning temple showed a very beautiful thing, relic called Sun Diamond. Was big yellow stone floating and glowing like dawn. Was behind magic barrier but could touch barrier and was warm like sun! Made people happy looking at it!
Miss Everwatchknight Wai Li and Dawnknight Eldarian of temple said words to crowd at end to thank people for coming, maybe temple of Lathander and Helm are being friendly.

Reports of strange glowing symbols in the cloudpeak area still seem to wander around. Some claim to have seen short blue flares at night, at the places of these symbols. Others say it simply must have been lightning.

A paladin of helm with x brand of exile from Baldur Gate is heard talking around the camp fire about icy arcane ruins each with one elven word in them. One has the word that roughly translates to find/seek the other the rune have the elven word for twilight in it. He begins describing his latest trip in to the mountain pass of the Cloudpeak Mountains. It was dead in the night as I approached the location of the two icy runes he could see the snow glowing a bluish hue, so he began removing the snow form them, as to his amazement the icy runes where pulsating, growing brighter and brighter. As the symbols pulsated and the blue light grew brighter within moments it erupted into a beam of light that shot into the sky leaving a small trail of glowing sparks twirling in the in the night wind it would seem, like a firefly is the night sky until they dimmed out and where gone. He travel back up the mountain the very next evening and waited to see if this would happen again, yet it did, but only once at the dead of night. Leave him with even more question to what this could mean.
Bloody murder!

Earlier tonight, a heated, albeit short-lived argument could be heard from one of the guild rooms in the Northern Lights Inn. Short moments later, the keen-eared may have heard a few thumps and crashes. A bloody-handed, masked dwarf was seen fleeing South by a few commoners upon the road...
A cut up, unknown man was found by a patron of the Inn. The scene was truly grisly to behold.. Blood spattered furniture, puddles of gore, savage wounds and shattered bone. Things worthy of an Orcish war hymn..
