A woman with a purple cloak plays music with a mandolin outside of the Orphanage in the City, she also tells tales and stories to the children if they ask her to, spending hours there, she leaves with a promise of returning. She's one of the locals, Rah'elenia Gilmours.

A red-haired tiefling in blue robes would approach the lady in purple, recognising her from a previous encounter. She would explain she has been teaching the orphans how to read and write for a few weeks now. She would ask the lady if she wishes to help her, as her singing skills would surely be a welcome addition to break the routine of the lessons.

Yes, anything for them! She smiles to her and agrees eagerly.

A Tyrran paladin recently arrived to Baldur's Gate from Neverwinter, a tall armored man with red hair and faintly golden glowing eyes. He walks the streets of the city and the nearby farmlands spreading the word of Tyr and inviting the locals in joining him in his mission to lower the tolerance toward those who follow the path of darkness, evil and tiranny. He presents himself as Feldran, Paladin of The Just.
"The Lords of the Triad suffer, looking at this city! Followers of Dark Gods, members of The Black Network and slavers walk among us! Remember, the moment we act like it's normal... it will become normal! Help me in this mission to make the Dukes remember which side they should stand for!"

Rumor has it that a winterized, lantern carrying half-Elven man was seen rattling the gates to the Baldur's Gate Counting House in the Palace District, one recent eve.
None could say whether he had just missed open hours, or...that they intentionally were keeping him out.
Some say the half-Elven man even shook a fairly large sized coin purse up at the windows, but at least for this eve, to no avail.

A tall woman with a purple hood is seen at the Harbor District Flaming Fist Headquartes, just outside, speaking to Holton. Rumours say that she has brought a donation of gold for the families of the Flaming Fist, after exchanging a few words with the Flaming Fist Officer, both nod and she delivers him a heavy bag of platinum coins. She leaves unceremoniously with the promise that there will be more from where that came from.
-Gold delivered to DM Spartacus (100 bags delivered)

As the sun dips below the horizon and darkness falls like a blanket over the damp streets of the Harbor District, a figure darts from rooftop to rooftop. The silhouette stops only in the blackest of pitch, to peer down upon the cobblestone streets below. Eyes scanning the citizens as they shuffle about their lives. Slipping from perch to perch, the footpad looks for anything out of place. Anything of note. Something worthy of planning, and with a big enough payout to justify the risk.
The shadow slinks about throughout the night. Noting habits and routines by those unawares. Carefully waiting. Always watching...

In the Wyrm's Crossing Bridge, a statue of Chauntea stands, at the foot of the statue, 4 people are sitting talking. One of them is a woman with a purple hood and cloak, the other a smaller woman with beautiful golden eyes and hair and a green armored robe. They are both talking to an old couple of a woman and a man.
The old woman would then speak to the two women and the old man quietly, they all join in prayer in front of the statue for two hours. The prayer consists of blessings and tributes made to Chauntea, wheat is offered and left there at the statue.

Many scrolls are spread in Baldur's Gate, posted on the walls and delivered to citizens, they read as follows:
The Rise of the Dark Gods Worship
Have we become tolerant of human sacrifices, tortures and slavers?
The worshipers of the dark gods are among us, pretending to be simply merchants, traders or so. . .
Just like a disease that isn't apparent at the beginning, but then there are symptoms, necromancy groups on the rise in the north, kidnappings, extortion and blackmail, all the work of those who have a black heart, worshippers of the dark gods, feet kissers. Their objective?
To spread in power and dominate others through all possible means, bending and manipulating the law to their advantage.
Using emotionally manipulative tools such as fear, hatred or greed to sow conflict, war and chaos would allow them to maintain control over lands too distressed to maintain stability. To this end, priests and followers were encouraged to commit acts such as torture, political infiltration or inciting mayhem with subtlety, cruelty and overall, fear.
I have met myself people who have claimed to use fear as a tool, right inside balduran lands, adamantine clad, stoic, fearful and thirsty for love.
How long are we going to let this disease, that is starting to reek our city, remain here?

On a quiet cobble stoned Harbor district street, early one evening, as young boys and girls are being tucked into bed. Quietly one by one, these elderly matriarchs leave their homes, clutching hand made bags, with knitted shawls draped over their shoulders, their feet would pad softly as they hobble their way towards another house in their neighborhood. Meeting others of their group along the way, so too would a particular halfling lady dressed in purple and maroon, they'd be met by the host at her door, mirthful greetings and a clucky ruckus escaping the house. The social sound that would indicate that the giggling gathering has once again happened, known as the Nanna's Knitting Circle.

There is talk that a "
Slightly" balding man wearing a bit over the top fine white clothing and an embellished cloak is going around the local taverns withtin the city. He seems to be speaking to the more rough-looking sort within the drinking holes, asking them questions about a Ship known as the
Seawolf, including if there was any of this ship's crew around or those who knew of the crew who the man could talk to.
He seemed happy to grease the palms of the men he spoke to, thoroughly, as well as let them know if they found anyone or knew of anyone he could approach, he would pay even more handsomely.

It would not be long before the man would receive information on what he seeks.

Residents involved in land and trade may have heard rumor that Rocky Creek Trade Company, of Greenest, has acquired a small, unimproved barn on the outskirts of the Eastern Farmlands. Rumor has it that they will use it to store supplies for the making of wagons, and will operate a small satellite operation of their wainwright business in a wagon-yard, right here near the gate.
Those that are familiar with the old barn may recall it as sturdy, but not suitable for entertaining customers, and their primary trader, Jackard, is still found frequently within the Wide.
