Turns to Ember.
"Hey, that's finally some good news!"

"I know!" She replies, taking a huge sip of the brandywine, then looking into the glass, looking at the barkeep, and giving him a... "look".

She turns to Bobby. "Well the wyverns and werewolfs aren't in here, so the guards must be guarding Gullykin right, right?" She grins brightly. "I guess it's up to some of us to go out and clear the path. It figures the tall folks don't want to bother doing it. Why would they come here? They're too snooty to want to deal with hin-sized stuff when we have to deal with their sized stuff all the time!"

"Roigh', Ember.. Ma poin' exactly. Iffin' tha guards weren' doin' tha roigh' thing.. this 'ere haven o' ours wouldn' even be 'ere eh? Damned longlegs can' be relied on either way.. s'how it is, roigh'?" Bobby says as he takes a sip from his whiskey.

Ember nods knowingly, sipping her "brandywine" which she now strongly suspects is something else altogether.

"We ought to provide escort service to the greener hins who want to come visit our beautiful little village! They probably can't get past the wyverns or orcs and werewolves, but if they have an escort they can!"

"Oi lass, tha'd be soundin' loike a grea' idea!" He says chewing on his cigar before lifting his whiskey glass up in a toast "Hin fer Hin!"

"I know!" Ember grins. "Now we just gotta let em know somehow..."

She sips her drink thoughtfully.

*By now Pip has been deep in slumber from the amount of ale he has consumed*

I suppose we could set up a play or a small performance in the Gates to invite all the Hins from faraway lands to come and join us in this quiet and quaint place... *smiles*

"Oi, a play? I dunno wha' ye been smokin' lass..bu' ye better star' passin' some o' tha' stuff over 'ere eh?" Bobby says with a grin "All jokin' aside, I ain' go' no skills ter be a par' in any play, roigh'.. no' one bi'"

Oh, but I've known you to be quite the liar... Lying is like storytelling, isn't it? We could just slip a couple of friendly lies into their young minds... *evil grin*

Bobby chews on his cigar as he stares at Riza "Oi, lass... ain' ever known ye ter be so hostile wit' yer words aye? I ain' even asked...."

Ember looks slightly horrified at the idea of a performance, then simply looks confused at the mild confrontation between Riza and Bobby, and decides to sip her drink at this opportune moment and keep her yap shut for a change.

"Hmm hmm."

Riza sips her ale and stares at Shanks for a long while...
"Oh, really? Have you not ventured with me long enough to know my sharp tongue?"

Bobby simply offers a grin.
"Leas' ye can do is say ye love me, lass"
with that, the hin mercenary breaks out in laughter.

*Riza's eyes sparkle with vicious lights*
