Many Sailors, Fishermen, and Bucaneer have lost their lives on the now treacherous waters that consume the coastline.
TSUNAMIS are reported to have occurred and waves reaching near hundred feet have been reported at sea. So far, none have reached shore but the rip tides and turbulent waters combined with storms across the sea have raged for nearly a week now. Those that make their living on the once bountiful waters are speaking of a Bad Omen, A curse bestowed upon by Umberlee. Some deep sea vessels have even reported a large powerful burst of dark energy swirling from the sea itself into the Heavens when the first of the Tsunami's struck out, lashing the waters craeating numerous Tidal waves to form, crushing, crippling ships, and drowning sailors mercilessly.
The Bitch Queen of the seas looks unsated in the destruction and ruin of the seafaring folk. The Waves grow larger and bolder, soon not even dry land will be able to fend off her explosive temper. Prophets and the clergy of Umberlee have been working diligently to cull the masses and take offerings as sacrifice to appease the Mighty Goddess of the Seas. Though their efforts go ignored by the deity as the storms and treacherous waters continue to plague the seaworthy people of the Coast.
It is also rumored that a group of devout agents of the Sea Goddess's order are searching towns and villages along the coast. They are menacing and are well armed, questioning and posturing the seafaring folk about a certain item they seek....
The Swordarm has housed many powerful and dangerous pirates and adventurers over the years. They have come to expect, and depend on, a place that is clean, quiet, and safe. On the rare occasions when guests have offered violence to anyone, swift and sure spells (presumably those of Aulyntar, who prefers to remain unseen) have lashed out to end the matter, usually by destroying the belligerent guest, although there have been some reports of such individuals being teleported abruptly into the depths of far-off Skullport, beneath Waterdeep, or the heart of the jungles of Chult, or into the midst of Icewind Dale. So this inn has become a neutral meeting place for deadly enemies, uneasy rivals, and swaggering folk-of-danger alike. If guests intend to do business together, however, they tend to arrange to meet elsewhere, no one is free of the feeling that Aulyntar or his frozen apprentices are always watching and listening.

The Captain orders one of his sailors to pick parchments up and read it. "B-but C-capt! I don' know how to r-read."Gargauth Forever wrote:"For all those who seek wealth beyond any man can achieve, or a revenge against far too powerfull enemies or a life of pleasures that is worthy of the gods, it is possible!! All you have to do is find us and in exchange for your soul (a BARGAIN if you ask me), all of this and much more can be yours, in a blink of an eye!"

She smiles and thanks him and goes off do something. In the process , she completely forgets what she was going to say, or even that she was going to talk to him ."Captain shall speak with you later, Dovey... His orders are not to disturb him and Lilah. I will get this note to him when he comes out from his cabin. That will happen when the sun is already quite high." The sailor in guard duties says and waves his farewells to one of ship's women.
