Re: Calling all Dragon Hunters...
Yeah man, as Rasael said, they work. I use them to knock down the Pit Fiend's SR (which is otherwise seriously annoying), and it works. I know that Greater Breach, Lesser Breach and Mord all stack, but I have no idea if multiple of the same stack with themselves...That is what I was askingTalonofWindspeak wrote:///as far as I know Assay is the only thing that will work for lowering SR, breach and Mords will not, not with natural SR on creatures.

Re: Calling all Dragon Hunters...
Taken right from the Wiki and I have tested this on the Monk on the compound. Have not tested on the White Dragon or any other creatures with natural SR. It does not stack for monk.
"SR applied through feats like Diamond Soul or Githyanki SR racial feat cannot be lowered by spell breaches, Mordenkainen's Disjunction or Nature's Balance. The only ways to break through such SR are spell penetration feats or the Assay Resistance spell. Same problem may also occur with targets whose SR is realised as a hide property (Succubbi, for example, whose SR is a property of their "hide" they are technically "wearing" in their "chest" slot)."

Re: Calling all Dragon Hunters...
If you are even remotely serious about successfully pulling this off, you have to schedule it early in the morning in the US. Ideally, you want the server to be mostly empty with minimal lag. Afternoon and evening times will mean a total crapshoot as lag and the death associated with it will be a given.
I would recommend early in the morning on Saturday, March 24. Something on the order of 7 or 7:30 EDT. EDT is GMT -4.
P.S. I do believe that at least the Brits (and possibly other Euros) are jumping forward to daylight savings early on the 25th.

Re: Calling all Dragon Hunters...
Umm, GMT does not change, whereas both the US and Canada jumped forward an hour a week ago. So, currently we are GMT-4 with EDT.
9 or 9:30 would still likely work. I think the number of players around that time is usually in the 30s or 40s.
Conversely, an early weekday morning would be optimal.

Re: Calling all Dragon Hunters...
This is good to hear, so little real information on some things out there. I just found out some interesting information recently that suprised me.. and the fact some of these creatures have been modified from the originals.. makes things entirely different. Long ago when the Fiend was surface a silence on him seemed to confuse the hell out of it.. often would just stand there while you killed it quickly... I assume the AI buggered up or something.Aelcar wrote:

Also seen it start running like to get out of the zone of Silence but never stop running
