A few days after an impromptu sale of various artefacts in Baldur's Gate, Mealir arrives to Beregost early in the morning with three carts loaded with various goods and a few sailors from his crew.
Two carts are unloaded and the wares given to those in need. Soon after, the sailors, who were picked for their strength, begin to help rebuidling the town where they are welcome.
Mealir goes around the town, singing a few songs, encouraging and inquiring about the needs of the locals.
After one day's work and an evening shared with the refugees around a fire the sailors and the carts move to Gullykin where the last goods are unloaded and help offered in the same fashion.

The people of Beregost and their Amnian patrons continue to accept to the assistance of the other folk from across the Coast, be it hammer and nail, or coin, or song and encouragement. The general mood of the town is lifting as it begins to take shape; solid foundations now litter the ruins, clean and clear of ash. Structural supports go up, and new roofs are gradually thatched together.
A sharp-looking woman in a black dress periodically tours the town, with a large retinue of guards in black cloaks and a simpler-looking handmaiden in tow. She conducts herself with an air of noble composure as she inspects each structure, offers words of encouragement and reward to the Amnian soldiers, and stops briefly to speak with the townsfolk. The woman in black spends the majority of her time questioning an architect presiding over a particularly large foundation, which appears to have been given priority by the reconstruction team. Before returning south to Nashkel, she presents large personal donations to several struggling families.
Meanwhile, the surviving staff of the Burning Wizard, Jovial Juggler and Feldpost Inn are up to something. When not picking through the ruins of their former establishment, they are frequently congregating together near the outskirt tents. Basil the cook and Samuel Feldpost II himself appear to be leading these enthusiastic discussions, often accompanied by energetic hand movements as though throwing confetti in the air. “From the ashes shall we rise” has become Samuel’s favourite rallying call to his fellow townspeople.

Beregost has taken shape once again over the previous weeks and months, the ruins giving way to a landscape of new buildings. The phrase "From the ashes", promoted so diligently by Samuel Feldpost III during the reconstruction process, is now neatly stencilled on the Risen Phoenix Tavern and Inn. Looking around the interior, patrons of the old Beregost taverns will notice its rich heritage: its locale revealing the Jovial Juggler's foundations; a uniquely coloured wood betraying a pillar from the Feldpost Inn; the characteristic stairs from the Burning Wizard. The new social hub has become a rallying point for the whole community.
Next door, the new Government House stands tall. Confirmed as Governor of the New Protectorate, Isabella Beninio has moved in officially and taken up residence in the house. Having grown to know her during the reconstruction process, the locals seem generally upbeat about her appointment and about the town's new prospects on the Amnian side of the border.
