A large hulking figure traverses the side paths to the Tradeway, moving with speed and determination from the north lands, southward.

As the figure crosses over the Tradeway near the Lion's Way, a poster blowing on the wind lands near it's feet. In a flash, the figure's quarterstaff stabs the poster to the ground, before it can fly away again.

Crouching down to examine the poster, the hulking figure brings the poster closer up from under his staff, nearer to his masked and hooded face.

Large eyes peer over the lip of the mask, reading the words of some type of contest of strength, and of constitution.

The hulking figure let's out a large snort, and then a bubbly, phlegm-soaked chuckle.

Still crouched, the figure turns his head back northward, knowing how quickly he could cross the lands to reach the poster's advertised meeting place.

Mendel reads the poster at the Gullykin tavern, about the Kraak Helzak fundraiser.

"ow.. watch it!" Valge waved her branch arms and the dwarf who had nailed the poster to her bark went off screaming that the trees were alive and attacking. She muttered in her raspy bark voice, "Can't simply catch a quick nap any more it seems." She scratched her bark and was about to loudly complain of bark itch, a problem she had now and then when her twig fingers ran across something stuck to her. "Now what's this?" She pulled the nail out with a grunt and lifted the parchment up to her tree face. "So this is what dwarves do for amusement. They are strange beings indeed." After reading it Valge pierced it through on a branch in her leaf crown. She then moved deeper into the woods in case the dwarf had managed to get others to believe him and they'd return with torches.

///Might be there. If I'm online do send me a poke as I might've forgot. Valge isn't exactly a heavy drinker and a brawler but these things amuses her.

Elves who had been scouting the northern passes begin to hear of the Helzak Dwarves event. They soon turn their path toward in the direction of the Dwarves wishing to both make their presence known and pay respect to their one time allies.

*reading of the drinking context, the druidess of Aerdrie smirks in amusement before her attention gets attracted by a couple of magpies nested on a nearby tree*

Dwarven drinking game...why not? I lack this experience.

(I'll try to be there with athalantiel)

Revenark Stonehold, signs him self and clans mate Kel Stonehold up for the contest.

"It be nice ta see O nice classic braw, and spend time with me Dwarven brothers and sisters in arms" says Rev.

"Time ta test me strength vs. some proper warriors I say! See if I be worth me beard or not'" shouts Kel.
Revenark Stonehold Kingswarden of Stonebar. Despite the weight of his vows he will never allow himself to fail his responsibility to family regardless of personal cost[/strike]

/// Starkad will trade taunts and blows with anyone who beats him in the drinking contest first and foremost! Assuming the drinking is first, but otherwise, who would in their right mind enter a brawl sober? :D

(Also, I'll try to have a barechest slayer armor on me for the event, so you can borrow it)

///Alas, No armour allowed. If it doesn't give any AC or anything then I suppose it's allowed still.

A chuckle can be heard as Andros still covering his face in a black hood and mask as signs up for the brawl.

Salival smiles at a bare fisted brawl being hosted. Saying to himself " Hope they have nothing against a monk such as myself joining the fun." He signs his name to a skin, then heads out to find a large rock to train his fist on.

Ooc, is blazing aura allowed?

Hmmm... that's a tricky situation. I'm letting other special abilities such as rage and defensive stance and expose weakness be used, so I dont' think it is fair to say that you can't. On the other hand, I am disallowing breath weapon for DW.

My gut reaction is to say no, especially since I already expect any monk that shows up to win anyway, but if you feel that is unfair, I will change the rules and consider disallowing all special abilities.

Thoughts?
