Hoihe was wearing his blue Candlekeep tunic, with the badge on his left arm and a copy of the Wanderess flag on his right. His forearms were covered in well-maintained elven bracers used by the archers of their Millitias, his back covered in an elven cape worn by rangers, by his hip an elven longsword in a black scabbard hung. His boots appeared elves as well.
Perhaps the most obvious garment upon the tall, 6'5" feet of height humans is one of the accessories worn over his neck. A piece of cast iron, with a carefully chiseled globe of grey fluorspar in the middle, flanked by a semi-circle of silver metal. The elves might find it oddly similar to Sehanine's symbol.
He did not seem distressed by the elves coming towards him with spears, not even a flinch. After the surprise was over, and it was his time to speak he made a respectful bow to the one addressing him and spoke in quality elven, obviously well practiced with the native speakers of the tongue, honed over at least a decade if not almost two. Which, for a human, is plenty.
And he spoke: "May the Protector bless you, Son of Correlon, and the Luminous Cloud hide you from danger. I am Reader Hoihe Dacino of Candlekeep, a sorcerer and dragon warrior from the clan Silverstone of the Earthfast mountains and the Navigator of a ship captained by a half-elf known as Mealir Ostirel. I have been titled as Sha'Quessir by two members of the clergy, and an elven ranger. Been called such by others as well, but I shall mention these three's names for they were the first ones. High Priestess of Correlon, Luthien of House Aelorothi from Evermeet, Amarven of Sehanine Moonbow and Alsarias the blind ranger of Doron Amar, an elven settlement to the south. I have been scouring these devastated, yet most impressive ruins of the once mighty Miyeritar in quest of answers and also of pilgrimage. I'm seeking proof of a certain something that I must, I am afraid, keep secret from you. I am to provide this proof to the High priestess I've mention, Luthien Aelorothi. I'm also on a pilgrimage, visiting various elven ruins and leaving a simple hand-made, but with all the passion I could muster into making, symbols of Sehanine Moonbow. I do not dare claim they are holy, but they are symbols certainly. I'd assume you've found amulets with an Uroboros at their back, with a dragon in the middle holding a sword and crossing a shield. That is my symbol, and I marked the symbols of the Luminous Cloud with it in an attempt to make it "personal" and identifiable. I do not wish to hide things I do not have to, however, and admit that there is a third reason of my being there. I've found a wake in the numbers of the children of Correlon in these Moors, gathering towards the North East. My friend, Mendel, one of the elves living in the Misty Forest, told me about a great event. All he told me is that it's related to Saline. While I do not know Saline well, I do consider Laisren a friend and since Saline is his wife, and Mendel not being opposed to my presence, I thought I'd try to attend. Oh, just call me Hoihe. I dislike titles outside of introductions. And forgive my lengthy speech, Sy'tel-quessir, it's but a trait I am known for. Allow me to offer my assistance to you in case you need it. I believe I am quite capable, and even if not, I can provide distraction even against the greatest foes. I do not fear defeat if I can help elves survive, for it is my Duty to act as a protector to the Children of the Seldarine."
After his lengthy speech, Hoihe assumed a casual, but still respectful stance and looked the elf that called out to him in the eye. Not in a malevolent way, rather, he was trying to gather the trust of the elf by not diverting his magically altered gaze.

With very little words the elfs seem to tame their hostilities if you would call it such. A simple acknowledgment of the words spoken was all that was given as they disabled and when about their preparations for the day to come. It would appear as, while not open to others, this one has past their test.

After the elves leave and Hoihe's spotting of the lake with the large number of elves around it, he marks the spot and teleports down south for a bit of rest from the Moors and will teleport back when the time is ready!

((pretty awesome track for something coming from the Sims.. found it randomly.. I think it fits perfectly. Only making a short take on these events from Hoihe's perspective. I'll let Maverick or Nezzerscape do the actual writing!))
During the celebrations, Hoihe managed to turn what would be a burden to many to his advantage, as he gained friendship with the newly united people of the High Moors. Afterwards, he went on to enjoy the wine while it lasted, easing up more and more with more and more alcohol intake, but not doing anything inappropriate to the best of his ability. It greatly contrasted how he first attended, nervous and unsure what would be appropriate for a stranger no a human who is a stranger (which is much much worse!). Once the celebrations seem over, he takes an almost elaborate Farewell as he returns to the wastelands of the High Moors from the area around the lake, and returns to his research of what was once destroyed and forgotten..
