Actually I'm not THAT sleepy yet.

mob dependent. if the mob they are surrounded by is a high damage output mob, sketchy survival rating

i've done the f/wm/fb route, and the f/wm/temp/wd approach, and also the sword and board. i personally prefer the sword and board. the ac and defensive feats make a big difference
My own WM/FB is in the 45-50 AC range so there's no real low survivability if built well and well equiped. But he's a 2-hander.

I just made another build with EDM, Greater TWF, and weapon master.

Very low HP and poor defence, but we're talking about damage here, right? 8-)

9 attacks

3.5
4
7 Str
6 IPA
6 Epic WS
2 Mastery
14 EDM
3.5 (1d6 elemental)

42.5 (46) 127.5 (131)

3.5
4
3 Str
6 IPA
6 Epic WS
2 Mastery
14 EDM
3.5 (1d6 elemental)

38.5 (42) 115.5 (119)
Seems nice. Can get higher with buffs and better scimtars.

AC would look like

10
1 (dodge)
3 (Tempest)
3 (Tumble)
5 (Dex)
5 (Mythral BP)
4 (Natural)
4 (Deflection)
3 (Dodge boots)
---
38

6 (IMA wand)
4 (Shield wand)
--
48

Which isn't SO bad, even if it's low compared to two-handers, or to a build less focused on damage but still a TWF.

I can think of a few tweaks with this build that would allow you to trade 6 damage for 6 AC, and 6 damage for 3 more AC, which would mean -12 damage +9 AC, which is a good trade in case you want it this way.

There is also a way to put in Divine shield. Would have to play with the build a bit. Anyway, you can raise that AC to over 60 easily for just a 12 damage less and perhaps two little AB.

I can't say I've ever seen a duel scythe build.
I've seen things like people using a greatsword and greataxe and a few combos like that.

Duel Scythe seems to cheesy to me.

That sounds pretty.

I had an idea for a WM/Figher/Frenzied/Bard - Dwarf, duel wielding dwarven waraxe the dmg output was 120 on crits.

Build I posted up there are over 120 dmg on crits even if x3, but instead of the 17-20 of the dwarven axe, it's 13-20.

If you plan to play a dwarf though it's a very nice build RP-wise. (:

On this PW, you can hit 45 AC easy enough with 2h and 90% of mobs cannot hit that other than on 20s. Defensive feats? WMs have CE available. Off the top of my head I cannot think of that many feats oriented on improving AC aside from LoH and that epic one.

I have little experience with solo melee variants, but for team-oriented fights, on Valshar I loved to team up with Mastersilke's Drow F/BG/WM/FB, 2h EDM no-nonsense killer (Istran No'quil, I believe). With my arcane buffs (and haste), and divine ones (Winddancer's FS), it was an unstoppable war machine.

passi is talkin about defense through umd/wands/scrolls. it works, but gets expensive, and tedious :)

mobs roll a lot of 20s imo, so ac and other defenses are key

all personal preference. luna if you want the most damage output f/wm/fb is the way to go. dual wield builds give a tad less damage and a tad more defense. sword and board is the least damage, respectable damage, but not great, but the defense is better

pm sent with the dual wield build I have used
