The term snowblowing is a double edged blade. Because it can also be used to 'clear the road' for better role-playing. I am personally especially quilty of it, whenever I see one of those mad mages threatening everyone with staffs filled with magical energies around the campfire.
Honestly, put them away, if you do not intend to kill everyone. You do not have warriors brandishing their weapons just because they get some skill modifiers or something, now do you?
